I cannot give Dr. Rinkov enough stars and gratitude. I brought my brother David to see him. David suffers from severe epilepsy, is developmentally delayed and was diagnosed with Retinitus Pigmetosa nearly 4 years ago. After doing some research, I learned Dr Rinkov specialized in low vision therapy and knew immediately that I wanted to see if he could do anything to help David Sadly, the glasses did not help David (we do not know if David really could not see or if due to his disabilities, he simply did not know how to explain what he was seeing.). However, the amount of time and effort Dr. Rinkov gave to David is appreciated more than words can begin to express. He didn’t rush us through the appointment and continued to try to with various things in hopes we would see an “ah hah” moment.I highly recommend anyone with low vision needs to seek the care of Dr Rinkov. If he can provide visual assistance, he will. The disappointment of David’s visit is not at all a reflection of Dr. Rinkov but rather a terrible life hand dealt for my brother.

Dr. Rinkov was very thorough, testing my vision and asking questions about my vision difficulties. He introduced and explained the various magnifiers and vision assists that were available. I was able to try out several magnifiers during our appointment and we were successful in finding the magnifier that works best for my current vision needs. Thank you Dr. Rinkov.B. Turner

Dr. Rinkov was very professional in his approach to my father and his needs due to his failing vision. He introduced dad to the latest low vision equipment, allowing him to try everything that would enable him to read the newspaper and his mail, watch TV, enhance facial recognition, and view things clearly from a distance. In our opinion, it was a successful visit. Our family is appreciative of the time Dr. Rinkov took with dad, and would highly recommend this practice to others who are suffering from low vision.

Dr. Rinkov was extremely helpful and provided some excellent options for our 92 year-old mother, who has macular degeneration. We would definitely recommend his services.

Rose was nervous when we showed up for our appointment but Dr. Rinkov was very kind and easy for her to talk with. He took an amazing amount of time with her and was very understanding of her situation. She did calm down and become accepting of the vision devices that he was offering and even though she wasnt willing to try in the beginning we left with an order for a new pair of glasses with the telescoping lenses. I would recommend ANYONE who is looking for help with low vision to visit Dr Mark Rinkov.

I went by reading reviews& website . But I would suggest its totally waste of money firstly insurance doesnt cover this. Secondly he just try to focus on readi g rather then finding problem even glasses which he use to check was not proper . One glass he gave me from which I was not able to read but without that I was able to read . Then same I convey to dr & he said yeah it maybe have some problem . If such tools or equipment are not updated then how patient will come to know problem & bindly patient will trust & buy expensive glasses which actually doesnt worth for it... I dont know how lots of video are there on website I would say its totally fake coz what I was expecting & what dr has done totally disguisting.

Dr. Rinkov was the best. I had difficulty reading. He took the time to figure out what my problem was and prescribed me glasses for reading. I can now read almost everything I want !
