I do NOT recommend this place for rehab. They have a hour of PT/OT and the rest of the time they just sit in the bed or the wheelchair. When I questioned them about how come they didn’t bathed my father they said they only can shower once a week! Everytime I came in he was always sitting in a VERY Soaked diaper and looked very dirty! And when I asked them to change him they acted Annoyed. The room was always dirty and his clothes always went missing. They did not help him at all unless asked. Don’t go here.

Taylor Harry and the staff here are top notch ! We have had several residents that have transitioned from their skilled community to our assisted living commonly The Inn at Summit Trail. We have also had some of our residents go here for rehab. Always a smooth transition and great staff to work with !

The first thing that comes to mind was when I first walked in to inquire about the facility, was that it smelled good. We all have our preconceived notions of nursing homes; however, everyone works hard to ensure our loved ones are safe and well cared for, especially during these times when we have been unable to see / spend time with them.Since mom has been @The Laurels of Gahanna, I can share that all concerns that I bring forward are always acknowledged and addressed. I have never had any trouble with the staff and everyone has always been pleasant. Being caretaker is not for the weak and I am so grateful for The Laurels of Gahanna for caring for my mother.

My husband & I would like to thank everyone at the Laurels of Gahanna for your kindness, compassion & understanding for Kerry while he was a resident. He still talks about those he came to know with warmth & appreciation. I thank all of you as well because it is difficult to turn the care of your husband over to strangers for a period of time. Kerry is doing great! Our appreciation & thanks !

I want to thank all the staff at the Laurels of Gahanna for the utmost quality care the i received. Even nights when i sat in the bed and cried, scared of what my situation meant or missing hugs from my husband and kiddos, staff were there. Even when physical pain made me want to sit it out, Staff pushed me. Its through god using the staff at Laurels that i am almost 100% restored. My Mom passed unexpectedly 5 days before Thanksgiving in 2018. Since, i was wondering if the holidays would ever be the same. But, its because of your staff , i truly have a reason to celebrate Thanksgiving. Please tell ever Thank you!

During these difficult times, constant good care has been the norm for our sister. We were able to visit face to face for the first time this week and all necessary precautions were taken to insure a safe and very special visit. The staff is so caring and willing to help with any of our requests. Thank you to all at The Laurels of Gahanna.

NONRESPONSIVE. So I Stopped by to drop off a package and no one answered the phone and there was literally no one at the front desk for over 15 minutes. I mean who in the hell is running the place? Is there any level of accountability at a place that is tasked with caring for the elderly? Is this the level of service provided to the residents? I have serious concerns.

My dad was here for therapy after his hip replacement . Everyone was so nice. They took great care of him, and I feel as if he gets around better today then he did before! This is a great place! God bless them!

My mother was at this facility after surgery for rehab. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Made her feel loved and cared for when we couldn’t be there with her. We are so grateful for everything they did for her. She is doing amazing now thanks to them!

My Brother was here after he fell and broke his hip. Everyone was so kind and attentive. The hardest thing about his stay there was not being able to visit in person, but once he was done with his quarantine, I was able to see him outside ! Its really hard right now for everyone during this pandemic, but the laurels made my brothers stay as easy as possible. Heros really do work there.

During my darkest hours, The laurels of Gahanna provided me with a path to recovery. Where i used to hurt when touched, i now give high fives and hand shakes; where i couldnt stand or walk, i now do both on my own and quite well . My crew did a fine job in rehabilitating me. Thanks a MILLION!

I love everything about the Laurels of Gahanna, The staff, from the administration to the nurses and aides, have always been friendly, kind and helpful. The word caring applies to all aspects of this place and I would recommend it to anyone. My husband and I thank you.

The staff was very caring and showed true concern with my aunt. They had answers to my questions and keep our family in the know on everything that has happening so appreciate their effort and feelings of being genuine. Social worker was nice admission was very energetic nurses were nice and smiled asking how I was doing when I would come visit things that matter to me that you Laurels of Gahanna

This is a great facility to get exceptional therapy services! The staff is friendly. The Laurels has a great reputation as a company. So glad to have them on this side of town now. I am in there often visiting patients and they are happy with the services they are receiving!

I felt so comfortable having my best friend at this facility after she had surgery. The nursing and rehab staff was amazing- After a lot of hard work with rehab my friend regained independence and is back to living on her own. I definitely recommend this facility for any of you and/or your loved ones.

This is a wonderful community, I enjoy working with their team. They are always smiling and happy to help. They offer skilled care and Medicaid options and are a great resource to families.

My stay at the Laurels of Gahanna was very pleasant. When i first arrived i was grumpy, but the staff was understanding and patient with me, and for that my mood improved and i came to genuinely love the staff here !!

I have a friend there and from everything he tells me I have mixed feelings. I can tell that the staff and residents love him and care about him alot as we all do, but the guy needs mental health treatment. He believes the place is his family and i dont understand his situation, apparently he is being kicked out and is heartbroken. Family doesnt do that, I dunno, he wont show me his written 30 day notice for some reason. I pray for him everyday, he has had a very tough life. If you know him, please guide him to get the proper help, please.

Every time i come to this nursing home it is always clean and smells ready good the staff is always nice and polite

Every since they gotten the NEW MANAGER FOR HOUSEKEEPING the building looks and smell so clean i was shocked at how noticeable clean it looks and iam lroud of Gahanna for the cleanliness and the new house keeper manager thats make sure she goes above and beyond

I would like to change my review. I would like to thank the laurels of gahanna. They helped me out and if they wouldn’t have, I wouldn’t be the success I have reached today. I was discharged weighing almost 300lbs. Wait till you see me now!-Andrew Aycock-

My husband is getting great care here. The previous facility let him get a massive bedsore that ended with osteomyelitis a week in the ICU and then a month Ohio select. We were so glad when we found this place we went and visited unannounced everyone is really friendly you did not have to ask them to come turn your loved one that you do it every 2 hours they make sure he has a drink beside his bed at all times they get him up without being asked to take him to activities we pop up and we have a very large family that pop up all the time and hes being cared for so well. I would highly recommend The Laurels of Gahanna I read the previous reviews and Im not seen anything like that when Ive been there or anyone in my family have been there weve none experience those previous comments. and its really hard to find a facility where theres nurses on staff that make sure the wound VAC stays connected at all times theres been a few facilities that weve been to where they said that thats happened but in all actuality theres only one or two nurses that know how to fix a wound VAC where is that The Laurels most of the nurses know how to fix it. also the jacuzzi tub and all the showers in this facility is amazing my husband gets 3 showers a week where is that the previous nursing home we didnt even know he was supposed to get showers until he was there for a month and a half and then I got time he only got three and his whole three month stay. Literally I would give this place more stars if I could I highly recommend it. I wish I was a place to raise the therapy department at separately because I literally give them a 0 out of 10 all theyre doing for my husband two sitting on the side of the bed and put him in his wheelchair before he went there he was using a standing table he was using a bikeyes he is there for his bedsore however the main reason why hes been in a nursing we have sense is for physical therapy which hes not getting and he has a brain injury but theyre letting him refuse therapy as well so I will see if youre going there for the care of a loved one definitely send them if youre going there for therapy do not.

Terrible! Extremely poor management, under staffed, not sanitary at all! I wouldn’t send anyone to this place!

This place is the worst and the staff ignore the patents. I plan on filing a law suit if they dont get it together

The Laurel of Gahanna is not the place to being your family members. They will not get the care that you want them.you will not happy about the care at all.

The staff is friendly and the building looks clean!
