I feel the unidentifiable person (female) answering the door (on speaker) was very unhelpful & short with her answers. My mom needs a hospital bed & I came by to bring the prescription & confirm your company had one. All she said, “We don’t carry hospital beds.” I asked if she may know where I can find a medical equipment company in Columbus that may have or order one & she replied, “No I don’t.”I don’t know who she was because she NEVER came to the door but she definitely don’t need to be the person talking with customers. And honestly... I find it real hard to believe that this medical equipment office don’t know of another medical equipment company that MAY have what an handicapped elderly person may need!!! All I’ve got to say is... I will pray for her. I will also pray that she NEVER has to go through what I’m going through to help make my sweet mom more comfortable in her last days!!!!NOTE: My husband has always said... The person answering the phone and/or running the front desk will either make you or break you. Oh how true is this statement!

I was told by my provider two weeks ago that I would hear from them by the end of last week. They did leave a voicemail on my phone Thursday. I called back Friday and was not able to reach anyone, but I tried Monday and got through. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and kind. I did not have any issues getting my TENS unit and the instructions for using it. I would use their services again.

I spoke with Amanda who provided me great information, although she was not able to service me.This type of customer service doesn’t happen often these days!!She was so very kind, friendly and warm!If ever I have a need in the future I will definitely use them!!P.S. They work a lot with Tricare

I just found out this company attempted to bill my insurance $200 per pair of (non-customized) compression socks. They ended up getting $100+ based on the allowed amount. They never have any prices on their outdaed website & when I inquired, they stated dont worry, tricare will pay. Although Im covered, I desire to be a good steward of governmental funds. Im not a debbie do gooder, but $200 for a pair of packaged socks seems not only quite a stretch, but also dishonest. Im disappointed because I was told this is a black owned business.

Terrible service! I recently went through this company with a prescription for a postpartum support belt system for after having my baby. I submitted my prescription/insurance claim through Hometown Medical Equipment for the system and shortly after I received my package containing everything. About 2 months later, I received a bill listing 3 items for $300, $170, and $80 ($550 total) staying my insurance only paid $175 and I owed the rest. I only got one “system” from them even though my bill list’s 3. I called the company and they said that everything listed is what I received. This doesn’t make sense since the company (MamaStrut) that originally makes the postpartum belt system only charges a total of $170 for the entire system I received on their website. So this company is charging me and my insurance almost 3 times what it truly cost so it can get a large payout.I have spoken with this company and the representative just kept repeating “oh you wanted to pay retail? We are a “blank” company and that’s not what we charge. Those are our prices.” How can a company process a prescription for 3x the original costs just to pocket it all! Absolutely regretting this.

Terrible service. Ordered an emergency nebulizer machine because mine broke and I can’t go a day without breathing treatments, they said they would call me when it was ready, never called and they closed before I could get there. No one would answer the phone after hours and I had to go an entire day without breathing treatments. Will not be using any of their services again. Do not use them if it is an emergency.

I used HME for both my pregnancy pillow and spectra breast pump. I had heard stories of women waiting months for these supplies and having a hard time ordering from other companies, but my experience with HME was beyond fabulous. I used the CamScanner app to send in my prescriptions and had a response within hours. My products arrived within a week both times and I love them! I will never look any further for my pregnancy needs!
