Dr Manneriono was very nice. He has a great personality from the minute he walks in the door. He fully explains whats going on with your eyes and the type of prescription you need in your glasses. The front office staff all seem to be very nice, most of the medical assistants as well, but there is 1 who doesnt have the best bed side manner and she worked with me on 3 seperate occasions and her attitude was always the same. Now the lady who works in the glasses department is VERY RUDE. I went to see if they took my insurance and to see if I could get my glasses right after my appt and she was just as nasty as she could be. She told me I would have to pay out of pocket and when I was asking questions about my insurance and trying to understand the process, she kept cutting me off like I was wasting her time. I wish I could remember her name cause I would put it on here. Hopefully theres just 1 person who works the glasses counter but my appt was Weds Oct 20th and the incident happened around 1130am. Id recommend this place definitely and you never have to wait very long

I was extremely impressed how quickly they got me in for a sudden eye infection. When it comes to my eyes, I won’t go anywhere else. The doctor who saw me was very concerning, professional and thorough. My infection cleared up exactly as he said it would. His staff checked on me and even called in a prescription in case I needed it as I was leaving on vacation. I’m very appreciative!

Dr.Hartman is absolutely the best ophthalmologist Ive ever known. Her and her staff are friendly, caring, and getting appointments without long waiting periods is great. I would recommend Dr. Hartman to anyone.

The staff were all nice except for the specialist that came in. Just seemed rushed and didn’t take the time to listen. I agree with another review that said he seemed condescending when talking to you. He might just not be very talkative but there was no hello and just silence when he walked in.

Rude, ignorant lady who was supposed to greet us but instead said sign in and sit down. Was rude to the elderly couple next to us and told them they arrived too early so would have to wait. When I asked why we had been waiting for 45 minutes and not seen, she didnt offer to find out how long we would have to wait but said we are working to get you in. Has no caring or sympathy for anybody that requires her to do work. After an hour and a half of waiting without anybody updating us on why, this place is not getting me to come back. Plus they seemed like they could care less about the human and more about the money. Sad excuse for opthamologist.

The most unorganized place I have been to for vision care. The Dr. who took Orlandos patients in early 2020 and who I saw in May, has since left the practice. The notes in my file were not correct nor any where near what he had stated to me when I went to see a muscle specialist today. The tech who first took me back today for the exam, did her routine, left to see if an exam room was available and never gave me back my glasses. I had to ask if I could wear them to walk down the hall. The muscle specialist needs to have a better bed side manner. There is no life to this guy and was rather condescending. Im sure hes just defending the practice and Im sure I wont be returning.

Two years ago i had my cataract surgery. Dr McHale was amazing. IN the last 6 months I was experiencing blurred vision in my left eye and required laser surgery on scar tissue that developed. It was the easiest procedure ive ever been through and immediately had clear vision. It took less than a minute. Of course Dr McHale did the work. Highly recommend this location

Perfect Plus! I wish I could rate them 10 instead of just 5. I had double cataract surgery and the experience with Dr. Litzinger and Columbus Ophthalmology Associates was simply AMAZING. Every single one of his staff were friendly and professional -- it was the kind of service we all dream of but seldom actually get. I will refer them to everyone I know!

I was happy with the service and the results of my cataract surgery. I feel that they should do a better job of explaining the cost and billing to every patient before the work is done. Each time I thought I knew the cost I received a bill from a different entity. This should be explained in advance, it should not be up to the patient to ask.

I drove 2 hours to have Dr McCale do my Cataract surgery. I have nothing but praise to give him and his team. They prepared me for the procedure so I knew everything that was going to happen. The level of service from beginning to end far exceeded my expectations. They Knocked my socks off. I can see again clearly again. Everything is so beautiful and vibrant again. Thank you Dr McCale.

My elderly mother had experienced poor care and attention for her declining eyesight at another local provider, and we were sent to Columbus Ophthalmology Associates by a friend who suggested they were a better fit. We were pleased by the treatment everyone provided from day one, starting with the scheduling of the initial appointment and carrying on for 3 months. Dr. James Mchale and his staff were at once professional, personable and confident: we never had a doubt that my mothers condition would be well diagnosed and treated, and were optimistic throughout. Seldom are such high hopes realized, yet Dr. Mchale and his staff continued to amaze and delight us with their acumen, knowledge and heartfelt concern for my mothers needs. From the receptionist, to the attending staff and nurses, to the surgeon himself, as well as those providing follow-up care and calls, every member was on the same page and granted us peace of mind in a delicate and serious situation. Dr. Dawn Hartman provided excellent personal attention to my mothers post-op needs and treated her as though she was her own mom. I almost never write reviews but truly would refer this organization to anyone with eye care needs, and hope that they continue their culture of care and caring that is so rare these days. Thank you Dr. Mchale and staff for a wonderful experience.

My husband had his glasses shipped to the broad st office from the office in Dublin because when we called to make an appointment as new patients they scheduled us in Dublin despite specifying the Broad location (we only live down the road) when they called to confirm our appointment the day before and I informed them of the error we were told there was nothing that could be done and we would have to wait weeks for another appointment so we went to Dublin. We were promised that we would be called when his glasses arrived at Broad st because we didnt want to drive to Dublin again, but werent called. My husband finally contacted them and was informed his glasses had been there for some time and when he went to pick them up they werent very nice. This was all last April/May and the main reason I decided to write this review was because after the less than stellar attitude of both offices we went back to my old optometrist who dilated my husbands eyes because he was a new patient for them and they found something rather serious that the Dublin office had missed when they dilated his eyes less than a year before. My prescription was also vastly different than what I was subscribed by this practice and was actually closer to the prescription I was given prior to changing optometrists. I had wondered why I was having trouble focusing and even after I called to verify my contact prescription because I was surprised by the difference I was told it was correct by an irritated individual who had (once again) told me they would return my call once they looked in the chart but never did, I had to call back multiple times. They also dont fax prescriptions, they mail them. We were a bit surprised that the majority of their patients were elderly but now I think its because they only deal well with one area or patient population of optometry well. The only saving grace was the optometrist who missed the issue with my husband and gave me a strange prescription was very nice.
