I choose Dr Tucker from a workmans compensation panel which I was very wear of. It turned out to be a great decision. He was able to diagnose my issue almost immediately. This was after 2 other doctors ,with more years experience, felt there wasnt anything else that could be done. The very best place a person could choose for their orthopedic treatment. The Dr.s are The best of the best. Dr. Tucker is sensitive to your problem, and makes every effort to explain what is going on during your treatment. I think he is one of the best young Dr.s I have ever met.

I actually walked in to request a second appointment after 2+ years.Dr. (Matt) Tucker (2nd visit) was gracious, attentive, and explained things in detail. The options and timing (of potential mid-foot surgery and priority versus lumbar surgery likely also needed) he discussed made sense. Dr. Pitts (a resident?) was also courteous and on point.The staff (lobby, x-ray, nurse) were quite courteous.Mine was the first appointment of the day (8:00), and I was handled promptly.

There was a backup of patients for this particular doctor, but once I got called back, they moved rather quickly. Very friendly staff and PA and doctor visited. I definitely felt taken care of. I highly recommend the Hughston Clinic and Dr. Tucker.

Dr Tucker did an excellent job with my broke foot in 2016. From the initial visit through the surgery and follow up, it was a very good experience. Now two years later I had to see him for a shoulder injury and I received the same great treatment - luckily he only recommended PT. Very honest guy and I would highly recommend Dr Tucker!

Recently had a total knee replacement. Dr. Tucker and his team have made the experience very manageable. From the initial consult, through planning, my education and the procedure itself, I was very pleased with all aspects. My overnight stay at Jack Hughston Hospital was outstanding. If you have been thinking about getting this procedure and are unsure or intimidated by getting a joint replacement I urge you to go visit Dr. Michael Tucker. A few weeks of physical conditioning and some uncomfortable pain far out weigh the pain I was living with prior to the procedure. That team is spot on, and they have my highest recommendation.

I had been to numerous other doctors with no satisfaction. And no one... even came close to or took the time that Dr. Tucker and staff did...I was pleasantly surprise...

The care I received for my knee injury was taken seriously and correctly diagnosed. Dr. Tuckers PA was knowledgeable and he explored every aspect of my knee injury.The only negative was that there were no places left to park in the parking lot. I had to wait for someone to pull out. With a knee injury I had to walk an unreasonable distance. There are inadequate handicapped parking places. Although I have a permit it was useless. All in all I waited in the lobby well over an hour, then waited in the exam room another 25 minutes.Even though the wait was unreasonable, the carest was excellent!

Dr. Tucker and his entire staff, Nick Childers, his Nurse Practitioner, Stephanie Shiver his Secretary, and everyone else associated with Dr. Tucker has been absolutely amazing. In Physical Therapy, Gary, LaToya and Tim all have been amazing. Everyone is very patient with me and my questions and I never have left feeling like my questions weren’t answered or I wasn’t sure. I also wanted to give a shout out to Samantha, who adjusts my brace for me. She is always very pleasant and never minds when I ask her over and over to check the adjustment on it. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Tucker and Hughston Clinic.

This visit was not helpful at all. I drove 1.5 hrs to get shoe inserts. The nurse practitioner talk to me first entered the room introduce himself and proceeded on what the xray showed yet I never saw the xray. What the nurse practitioner said I totally agreed with and he gave his plan of action I agreed. Dr Tucker came in and gave a total different plan of action in which I dont agree with because I already wear shoe inserts that doesnt help at all. It showed me that he didnt trust his colleagues diagnosis or he just really was unconcerned about my level of discomfort. I was not very satisfied at all and 3 days later I still dont have the medication called in that was prescribed which again says Dr Tucker was really good not concerned about my care at all. Im still in pain.

Hughston Clinic, unlike other orthopedic clinics visited) was expeditious, courteous, knowledgeable, and above all made one feel satisfied with the given results.

A BIG FAT ZERO! WILL NOT RETURN. This was a terrible first time visit with my elderly mom for a torn rotator cuff. The wait to be seen with a 7 minute treatment plan of taking Advil and a print out of shoulder exercise was 2hrs! I was told the long wait because they were fitting Lagrange patients into schedule due to their office flood. At the front desk was a short line to check in, and the staff was kind, professional and thorough. After that, it went down hill. Just sitting and waiting, then a rude nurse (or whatever position he was) and the uncompassionate Dr. Tucker burst into the room like he was superman. So unprofessional, no name label in civilian attire. We had no idea who he was. He didnt introduce himself at all. There is ZERO diversity at that clinic. No Latinos, Asians, Black, or women physicians or surgeons. ALL WHITE MEN.

First time visit but I feel like I received excellent care

Always professional, spends plenty of time with the patient (me), and listens to concerns.

Dr.Tuckers treatment of my son was abhorable. He did not explain ANYTHING, treated us as if we were ignorant AND said he was free to do any physical activity with no restrictions. He can barely move his left arm. (He is in Army ROTC and was set to leave for ADVANCED CAMP in 3 weeks) Thankfully we are not as ignorant as he suspected and we got a second opinion. During that 2nd opinion, surgery was IMMEDIATELY scheduled and he was put on NINETY DAYS total restricted physical activity. I was excited to visit the Hughston Clinic based on its reputation, unfortunately Dr. Tucker ruined that. I am thankful there are still doctors out there that truly care but Dr. Tucker is not one of them. If he had listened to him he would have went to boot camp, not been able to perform, further damaged his shoulder resulting in a likely end to an Army career that is just beginning. I am unsure how long he has been with the Hughston Clinic but would like to know. Please be careful if you select him in your medical care.

When I began seeing Dr. Tucker in March 2019, my visit went quite well...I was very happy with the medical service received – up until beginning therapy. This is a Workers Comp. case – Its been a little over 2 months with VERY little no NO improvement; even the medical therapist has recommended surgery to myself as well as in his notes to Dr. Tucker. No therapy was given for a week, then after going back for a follow-up and stressing the issues of pain (crying in the office) as well as my choosing to have surgery – all of a sudden I get a call the next day to start doing therapy all over again. Upon my arrival, the therapist was shocked to see me again as he was sure that upon seeing the doctor that we would be able to move forward with making the necessary arrangements for surgery. The pain was so bad this week that I almost called my husband home from work... We cant financially afford that; so I just cried my way through it most of the day. Ive called and left numerous voice messages regarding this to a very nice lady (whose name I will not mention). Im fighting the mental anguish this is having on me as well as my husband feeling so very helpless everytime I break into tears. If I could have gotten this resolved, by all means they would get FIVE PLUS STARS!
