I had an infected tooth and needed a root canal. I dont go to the dentist as much as I should. I never felt judged. The ladies behind the desk, the assistants and Dr Simpson are all very warm, welcoming, and professional. They explain everything to you and make you feel comfortable. I would recommend Buckeye Endodontics to anyone needing a specialist.

I had root canal done here, doctor and nurse are professional. Their communication and instructions are on time and bang on. I would recommend this one as the time taken and communicate time are accurate. The office is small and clean. Doctor Gregory is very good in treatment.

When I say I was nervous about this root canal... I considered cancelling days before. I’ve never had a root canal, and I’ve heard how bad they can hurt from my mom that had one 20 years ago. Buckeye Endodontics was just amazing. They assessed my level of anxiousness to determine if I required an anti-anxiety medicine beforehand, which I was so relieved about because I was a nervous wreck. They were extremely thorough in their instructions of how to prepare, and what occurs the day of and post procedure. I always want to know details of everything, so by them doing this ahead of time, it made me feel more relaxed and in the know.I was so nervous about the pain during and after, but the worst part of it all was the shot to numb me, and that wasn’t terrible. After that, I was all numbed up and calm. The whole thing took about 25 minutes. The area was barely sore at all, and that lasted about 1 day. And that was it.I am still shocked at how easy and painless this whole process was. I’m guessing technology and medicine has changed a lot, but the doctor there made a huge difference too; I highly recommend him. I hope I never need another root canal - but if I do - this is where I’m going.

From my first contact with the office I could tell that i found the best place for my root canal. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind. The dental assistant made sure I was comfortable and walked me through the procedure. The doctor was through and efficient and the team work they have is impeccable. I would definitely recommend Buckeye Endodontics and Dr. Simpson. I had a root canal done here and everyone was extremely helpful and kind. The front desk assistants made the process quick and easy and the dental assistant made sure I was comfortable and walked me through the procedure.. The whole process took about an hour, and I just listed to music the entire time. The local anesthesia made sure I didnt feel anything. Dr. Simpson answered all my questions and they gave me a sheet with after care instructions.

I was extremely nervous for my first root canal at Buckeye Endodontics, but the process couldnt have gone better. I was in and out in less than an hour and, other than a slight pinch from the anesthetic, didnt feel a thing. They quickly got the information about my procedure back to my regular dentist so I could finish my treatment. Dr. Simpson was very kind and professional. Overall it was a great experience.

I just received a root canal retreatment from here and it was by far the most comfortable root canal procedure Ive ever had. They made sure I was comfy and aware before during and after the procedure which was great for easing my usual pre-procedure anxieties. I went in for a root canal. I was scared as usual. The staff is amazing and super friendly! I love how they have the TVs above you so you can watch TV during your visit. Definitely took the edge off of being scared definitely 10 star worthy.

I got two root canals done here and on both occasions had great experiences! The front desk staff was very friendly & the dental assistant was extremely welcoming and really put me at ease throughout the whole process. I experienced no pain during or after the procedure and I was in and out of the office within about 45-50 minutes. The Endodontist was a man of few words but lets be honest, no one wants to talk during a root canal. He came off as very friendly and gave me all the necessary education to ensure my tooth healed properly. Five stars all around!

My first-time patient experience with Buckeye was excellent! They were prompt in calling me back after I left a voicemail over the weekend and they got me in very quickly. At the office, they were very processional and kind. I was able to get an appointment quickly, which was nice since I was in severe pain and needed a root canal ASAP. The staff was very friendly and I was called back to a chair probably within 5 minutes of being there. Dr. Simpson did a quick examination to determine which tooth was the issue since I had pain going throughout a couple of teeth. I had the root canal right after the examination, and the process was fairly simple. I have a LOT of anxiety just seeing a dentist, and his assistant was very calming for me which helped immensely, especially during the numbing process. I would HIGHLY recommend this office for their friendliness, promptness, and ease of the appointment.

Absolutely terrified to have my first root canal done today. They told me it could take 25-35 minutes which made my fears worse. ZERO pain experienced that felt like 15 minutes when all done. Staff was super friendly, comforting, and knowledgeable. Would recommend to ANYONE

I went in for my consult and was luckily able to express these concerns with Dr. Simpson beforehand and we discussed the best treatment option for my root canal. The procedure was today and went very smoothly, I was blown away by how quickly the procedure itself went! I was able to watch television during the entire procedure and given plenty of time to relax. Dr. Simpson and his staff are professional and caring. I highly recommend Buckeye Endo and Dr. Simpson! When I called to make an appointment, one of the first things they asked me was about dental anxiety and how I preferred to manage it. Everyone I had contact with in the office was caring and patient. A molar root canal was quick (about an hour total) and pain-free. He and his assistant explained every step of the procedure and were very willing to answer any questions I had. All in all, a very good experience and I highly recommend them!

I live in Springfield and was quoted over $700 for a root canal by the only root canal specialist in town. Called Buckeye Endodontics on a Thursday, they had me in by Tuesday and charged exactly what my insurance estimated, $202. When I got here the staff was friendly, quick and got me back immediately. Dr Simpson and his assistant were so good I was relaxed the entire time and it was painless after the initial numbing shots. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and well worth the 40 min drive.

Went for a re-treat of a root canal Id had done years prior by a very skilled dentist.I made the mistake of choosing this endodontic office.The staff was friendly but the endodontist was unwilling to make me feel comfortable or provide all the information I truly needed to know for a procedure like this. When I went back for a check up of the root canal weeks later and said I was still experiencing some minor pain, he immediately suggested we extract the tooth. No further information of anything else that could be done.So glad I followed up with my regular dentist before allowing this person to extract a tooth.My dentist let me know that lingering pain can last for a few months or a year while that tooth heals and we should not be extracting my tooth. This was information that was absolutely not provided to me by this endodontist.

Ive had 2 root canals in the past and this was by far the most ideal experience. The staff was friendly, communicated fully and made everything as efficient and pleasant as possible. The procedure only took an hour and they had top quality equipment to confirm the procedure was compete and successful. They insured that I was comfortable and had a tv positioned for me to watch if I wanted to be distracted. The last root canal I had was a nightmare and this procedure was the exact opposite. The root canal experience was really efficient and I was in and out in just over an hour. They clearly have had some practice. Communication was great and I knew what was going on from start to finish including the scheduling process. The only thing I would improve is email or text reminders for scheduling for ease adding to digital calendars.

Absolutely Excellent! I had two root canals done back to back in early 2019 and Buckeye Endodontics was extraordinary. I was first recommended to another Endodontist in Upper Arlington, after a not so great experience there I was blown away by the professional sincerity of the team at Buckeye. They quoted me at nearly half of what the Endodontist in Upper Arlington quote was, and scheduled me right away. The Upper Arlington Endodontist wouldnt have been able to work on me for a month and half because of their Dr.s vacation and travel, what a joke. Buckeye Endodontics is straight forward and professional, the only way to go.

1st root canal I thought he was rude and detached. Gave him a 2nd try for canal #2. Disrespectful again! Seemed bothered to have to work. I wasnt able to accommodate the extra large new digital xray monstrosity with all the protective covers. Had xray from dentist referral. He REFUSED to do my root canal if he couldnt get HIS xray! Stormed out of the room in a hissy fit. Do NOT recommend this immature little boy!

By far the BEST dental experience I’ve ever had. Even before appointment date I was very pleased. The receptionist was very informative letting me know everything I needed to know for my appointment. I was very well prepared. She let me joe exactly how long it would take and all out of pocket costs up front.Secondly the dental assistant was amazinggg she was very sweet and thorough. She also let me know everything I needed to know about the procedure including how long it would take.The office was very clean and comfy! I lovedddd that there is a tv. And the chair is so comfortable I wanted to go to sleep.Definitely felt like I was at home.The only doctor was phenomenal he was also very informative effective and efficient.Great great work BUCKEYE! Location is very easy to drive to. Staff was very friendly and helpful, they did a great job of explaining the process to me. The procedure took about a half hour and was painless. A few things to note though, if you have to cancel you need to give thier office at least a 24 hour notice! And if you show up late they may not have time to do the procedure, so make sure you have it together before you schedule.

My Father-in-law visited here in July of 2018 for a root canal, and he can’t stop talking about the experience he had there. From the receptionists ‘hello’ to leaving the office everything went so well. He recommends them to anyone who needs work done.

Did a great job. Got me in on short notice, very reasonably priced. I called 11 different places since I am self pay and they were $100.00 cheaper than anywhere else I called.Great bedside manner and they took the time to explain everything I should expect during the procedure including the time it should take.He gave the numbing agent plenty of time to work which should go without saying but was still appreciated.Lastly, even though I brought an xray with me, they still took on before, 1/2 way through and then a final at the end. This gave me a lot of confidence that he wanted to do the job correctly.

WOW!! I have had to have three root canals. the first was performed by Buckeye, the second American Dental,( very painful) I went back to Buckeye for the third. Both times at Buckeye, there was very little pain, the Novocain shot was the most uncomfortable. The procedure was explained to me fully before they started and everything was as they said it would be. I do not usually write reviews but these folks deserve a good word and Im sure readers will be assured that they WILL get super quality care at Buckeye Endodontics. I will never go anywhere else. My wife had to get some dental work done recently and came here. Dr Simpson was fantastic and the procedures were as painless as they could be. While she hopes to never have to go there again, it was as good of experience as it could be.

Incredible expirence today. I neeed a root canal asap and they got me in in one day. My appointment was schedule at 10:30 and I was in the chair even a few minutes before! Took about 45 minutes before I was out the door and in little to no pain!

Rotten atrocious root canal performed. Dr Simpson only got three of the roots and I had four roots. I had to go somewhere else to fix his mistake. He wouldnt refund my 750 after is horrible fault . He caused me suffering leaving a root only to be removed by another endodontist. Dr Simpson told me to have the other dentist email him, telling he needed to correct and refund my money for doing horrible work and leaving a root undone, And Simpson still refused to return my money for his faulty work.. He was very nasty... He is a crook. My opinion. A liar.

This review basically is just to echo every word Chad M. wrote as we seemingly had identical experiences here. Truly, if a root canal is a must, Buckeye Endodontics does them as well and efficiently as could any office could. I found them online in a search engine through my insurance provider, which listed them among a handful of other endodontists in the area that were supposedly within network. Now, I have a rare federal dental plan that most dental offices have never even heard of so, imagine my surprise when I called Buckeye Endodontics and the employee on the phone immediately said oh you have the AVN6 plan? Your co-pay will be $X AND that number actually matched up to the number Id seen on my fee schedule prior to calling! I am also 15 weeks pregnant and the staff here communicated with my physician to ensure they followed all recommendations for my safety and that of babys, which included not using epinephrine in the anesthetic.I felt terrible for arriving a few minutes late on the day of my scheduled treatment but, when I called to alert them, the front desk employee politely said as long as youre not more than 15 minutes late well be able to see you, drive safe! Upon arrival, both the senior dental assistant (Miranda) and Dr. Simpson were aware that I was pregnant - I know that seems obvious given that theyd already communicated with my doctor prior to my visit but just 2 weeks prior to coming here I went to a dentist, told her I was pregnant, returned for treatment, and almost was injected with epinephrine if not for my asking what was in the numbing agent to which the dentist responded wait, youre pregnant?!? Did you just find out?! and I had to point out that, no, actually I had already told her staff that and they actually also had communicated with my doctor.The actual procedure was quick and relatively easy - the TV right above the dental chair playing HGTV sure made the time pass quickly :) Dr. Simpson was diligent to answer all questions I had following the procedure, gave clear verbal and written instructions, and soon I was on my way. I was advised to take pain medication before the anesthetic wore off but, with the whole pregnancy thing, I decided to chance it. And, as Chad mentioned, while expecting the worst, I never did experience any pain - even after the anesthetic wore off!
