Dr. Harmon is absolutely wonderful! My husband has been seeing Dr. Harmon for care and procedures, and I can say with certainty he is top notch. He takes time for his patients and their family and really gets to know them and make them feel comfortable and confident. Dr. Harmon is personable, knowledgeable, professional, down to earth, and all around a very trustworthy physician. I cannot recommend him enough!

My husband was a patient of Urology Associates and received a diagnosis of prostrate cancer in an advanced stage. Today his count is the lowest one can get. We love the staff, the doctors were phenomenal and they made a tough situation not only comfortable But honestly encouraging. My husband was 89 years old at the time, pace maker, diabetic and overweight. Yet this staff and doctors made him laugh, kept him hopeful and encouraged. Truly amazing place - the only place to be when challengedIn their area of expertise

When I arrived for my first (and only) visit the young lady behind the counter asked for my name. I told her John Starke and she said Youre supposed to be at the hospital. I asked her which hospital and she said Boone. I said Well, good thing I arrived early and still have time to drive over there but, when I made this appointment I asked for directions and was specifically given this address. She repliedYoure name is Richard isnt it? I told her my name a second time and she started giggling and said Oh my God, I almost sent you to the wrong place and carried on like the whole thing was a big joke. I was not amused. Then she said You did say you had a $50.00 copay? I replied No, I did not say that and I pointed out the copay amount printed on my insurance card which she was holding at the time. At this point I started to get a sinking feeling in my gut and wanted to leave but I had driven over an hour to get there and really wanted to see the doctor. I did get to see the doctor and he told me a lot of information which I kind of already knew from reading the WebMD and Mayo Clinic website. Still, I appreciate him making time in his busy schedule to see me. I was told to make a follow-up appointment which was like six weeks away. I made the appointment but cancelled it later and decided to get help for my problem elsewhere. Really weird experience. I wasnt going to post or say anything about this but I keep getting bills in the mail from them (which I am paying) but I really wish I had never gone there in the first place.

Most miserable experience I have ever had visiting a doctor/practice. Was belittled. Hope their administrator folliws through and gets an appointment set for me elsewhere within a week. I would in no way recommend this practice.

I had to go back and see the doctor so they could extend my medication. Talk about doing a bunch of in necessary steps to extend a prescription. I have good insurance with the state. I was in the office for less then 20 minutes most of that time waiting for the doctor and have a lady draw blood. I got the feeling that all these people were trying to do was up the anty so they could get my insurance to pay and then nail me for the other people who dont pay them .Not happy at all.

I’ve been struggling with chronic UTIs for 2 years now. I was referred to them and was able to get an appointment within a week. I go to my first appointment, pay a $60 copay only for a nurse to tell me they couldn’t do anything because I didn’t have a uti and that I needed to come back when I had an active infection. I was infuriated I demanded to see a doctor or get a refund. (May I point out the nurse was super kind and helped as much as he could) Finally, a doctor saw me and we discussed preventive options. The entire time I was belittled and my condition was not taken seriously. He made sexist and insulting comments the entire time. During the appointment I was told that if I had an active infection I would be seen immediately and that I didn’t need to worry. After this appointment I followed his directions and used the preventive antibiotics prescribed to me. They failed so I call them asking for an appointment. The lady told me I could come in for a urine sample and they could assess from there. I am in excruciating pain and this place won’t help me at all unless I beg and plead with them. Now it’s been 4 days since my UTI started and they still haven’t been able to make an appointment with me. I’m in the emergency room with a severe UTI now and this could have all been avoided if they had been truthful. The staff is friendly and nice (besides the god awful doctor) but it is impossible to follow up and get the proper care needed. I am very disappointed with this care. Also, these people insisted on making me wait A MONTH to get blood tests and an ultra sound. The er did those things immediately. Unless you want to wait ridiculous amounts of times or have to beg the front desk assistant for care don’t go here get treated at MU instead.
