First off, please be aware that they have moved and this has not yet been updated online anywhere that I can tell. The new address is: 502 North Garden St. STE #107(It is 5 minutes from the former location, and they say they allow a 15 minute grace period.)Secondly, the current location is at the very end of a strip mall, positioned so as to be difficult for anyone differently abled to access. As of the date if this review, they had no dedicated handicapped parking spaces anywhere near this business. (The fact that they do assessments on people who are applying for disability is terribly ironic.)Which, sadly, relates to my third point...You can expect that this is the kind of place you will be sent to where disability claims are denied out of hand.I am a nurse, and one of the caretakers of a dear friend whose health has been in steady decline over the past 6 years. I drove her to her disability assessment at this location--as she no longer has the cognative capacity to drive herself safely. We were told over the phone that I would be allowed to attend and advocate for her. Instead, I was turned away at the door under the guise of Covid protocol.The appointment was an abysmally brief and soul-crushing experience for my friend. She was faced with an older white male doctor who was curt, dismissive, and condescending. He ignored her EXTENSIVE history (both medical and work), became agitated when her hip dislocated durring his range of motion test, and claimed that hypermobility syndrome wasnt a real diagnosis.Brace yourself if you are dealing with the mental and physical agonies of fibromyalgia, CFS/Myeloencephalitis and/or chronic migraines. This is the kind of place that thinks all your pain and limitations are entirely in your imagination.
