Great local pharmacy! They were fast at filling my prescription and very knowledgeable!

Not sure what happen since my last visit but i got a call today from patti because i requested i get a new mask through my doctors. I get the call and she just says idk why you need a new mask your not evening wearing your cpap machine. Then proceeds to tell me you will get use to it you have to wear it 8 hours a night. So are you not allowed to not like a certain mask? Then tells me they said you on a full face mask where did you get that from. Like no excuse me i dont have a full face mask i dont see the notes you have in front of you that someone obviously made the mistake on. She asks me so what would you like to do very condescending. I just told him dont ever worry about it and hung up. Maybe she was having a bad day but it sure felt like disrespect.

Transferred a compounded prescription from CVS after they acquired Longs Drugs. Hawthorne confirmed they received it and would be filling it, and said they would call back with the price when it was ready. After a week and no contact, I called back only to be informed they would not be filling those particular medicines. Incredibly poor standard of patient care.

Great staff! So personable and knowledgeable! Pharmacy is always able to answer all of my questions and have helped communicate with physicians when prescriptions were atypical! They are so quick to fill prescriptions and let me know as soon as they are ready! I love the drive through and their delivery service is amazing!!

Excellent staff and quick service. You sense right away that taking care of patients and their medical needs has been placed above trying to sell candy, wine or pretzels like the ubiquitous big chains. I called in one night not long before they closed, and they quickly took care of all three of the refills we needed. I know for certain Id never have been able to get service that fast at a normal chain.

I’ve been coming to Hawthorne for around five years now, and I have maintained my relationship with them due to their excellent (and I don’t use that description lightly) customer service. They know my name when I come in, and they do small things to help me when I need it. I also use their medical equipment services, that are housed in the same building, as well. They deliver to my home and office. I can’t say enough positive things about Hawthorne.

Every time I come here it’s a great experience. The entire staff is phenomenal. They are always nice and attentive to my needs. Highly recommend.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Hawthorne Pharmacy on Taylor Street. All prescriptions are filled and delivered to our doorstep the same day. The pharmacist answers all of my questions and truly cares about keeping my family healthy. I would highly recommend this pharmacy and its staff to anyone!

Excellent service with recommendations for expressed needs and having needs met.

Staff on Taylor St. had me set up and checked out in no time, and I got a call from their other branch later that night to see if I needed a taller walker. Excellent customer service. The walker wasnt cheap but is sturdily built and will have excellent resale value if I decide to sell it on Craigs list.

Best Pharmacist and staff. Super knowledgeable and always with a smiling face. They are friendly, professional and will go the extra mile for their customers. We love Hawthorne!!

My insurance company called Hawthorne on Taylor. The insurance company covers compression hose. Hawthorne was insistent to my insurance company that Medicare doesnt cover the compression hose. I dont have Medicare . Then they stated that they didnt take United healthcare . I dont have that insurance! My insurance company stated their name and that they would cover it and would the store file the claim. I cant imagine giving up a high cost item .

They are incapable of dealing with more than one person at a time, but theres always more than one person there. We had to go back 3 times to get what we needed. They are incompetent.

Staff full of incompetent idiots similar to a 30 year old who decides a career at Popeyes for 5$ an hour. Spent all day on the phone with a pharmacist, said medication would be ready at 3, to not even been made the next day.
