Ms. Williams my resupply coordinator deserves more than five stars. She is an absolute blessing to my family. I’ve had a few resupply coordinators during the duration at Lifehme. However Ms. Myesha is the best thing that could’ve happen to me. She’a kind, and loving. You can really tell that she enjoys what she is doing. She’s truly a blessing I enjoy having her over my child account. Thank you lifehme

Outstanding job by Ray this afternoon with set-up of equipment, instructions, and professionalism. He ensured we understood all aspects of the equipment and made it very comforting for an already stressed situation. We have used Life HME for a very long time. When trying to get a new piece of equipment it takes forever, they dont communicate very well. Our daughter passed away on June 8, 2020, well believe me they didnt waste anytime calling about equipment. They even wanted one piece of equipment back that we were told would be hers. If I have have the need for another home medical equipment company it will not be Life HME.

This company has the worst customer service going. I have used LifeHME for years regarding Cpap supplies. I have to call them each time (every four months) to order the same set of supplies each time. I asked everytime I order to please call me when I can reorder based on Medicare procedures. But I guess they would rather sit back and have the customer tell them what they need rather than be proactive. They also love to make you jump through various hoops to provide them scripts for the supplies needed. Look, I have been on the Cpap for 30 years. You seem to be unable to understand that my supply requirements dont change with every 4 month order. They have always been paid by myself or insurance every single order. They are in business in spite of themselves but I for one am sick of being treated like a second class citizen. I will find another supplier even if it requires that I pay more out of pocket. I refuse to provide them any additional business. Dont walk,,,,RUN from this sorry excuse of a company!

This place is run by incompetent people! My husband needed a bed. It took 4 weeks because of misinformation they were giving to me and the doctors office. Then once we got the bed they didnt gave the common sense to order the air mattress needed in order to prevent skin breakdown. They didnt even bother to look back at my husbands previous order to see what he required or for that fact didnt have the common sense to ask!!! Very poorly run company!!

Recently we brought our loved one home from the hospital. She is on a ventilator and needs round the clock care. Prior to her discharge we coordinated her needs with Life HME. We absolutely chose the best company to assist with equipment and technical expertise. Prior to our loved ones discharge, Rodney and Joy delivered all needed equipment including bed, lift, ventilator along with its associated equipment to our home. They assessed best location for the equipment and arranged it accordingly. Joy, Respiratory Therapist trained me on all the equipment and made sure I had a clear understanding of operation. Later that evening when our loved one arrived home via ambulance Joy was their to accept her and to train another family member on the equipment. Joy was very consultative and she made us feel confident that we could run the equipment and manage respiratory care. Upon leaving Joy assured us she would be on call through the night should we have needs. Then, she came back to our home the next morning to check on us. Just to be clear the ventilator is our loved ones lifeline so it is crucial we have 24/7 support. We have reached out numerous times to LifeHME always getting a prompt response and needed answers to our questions.Simply put, Life HME and Joy are amazing and I dont know what we would have done without their support. They are not only experts at their craft but also offer care and compassion to all involved. I highly recommend LifeHME and am glad to have the opportunity to share our experience with you.

Billing Dept rep is not nice. After my husband died last year I received a Bill for rental of his hoyer lift. I thought the bill would be paid by insurance, Medicare, or hospice. With his passing, Covid, my retirement and life, I forgot about the bill until I received a collection notice from an attorney in Kansas. I called and not once did the billing girl tell me she was sorry for my loss or offer a payment plan. Zero customer service.

This is the worst customer experience Ive had with a health care company. I returned a product to them using their shipping information in September. I noticed in November that they hadnt stopped billing me. I contacted them and was told everything would be taken care of; however, it was not. They told me in February that they will continue to bill me unless I produce a tracking number from six months ago.Update: A representative helped resolve the problem.

I have a Cpap with this company, when I try to reorder supplies they NEVER answer the phone. I leave messages and my calls are NEVER returned, I call over and over before someone picks up. Once they sent the wrong supplies so I had to wait another week to receive the correct supplies. The next month they didn’t send my order at all because it was “hung up in the system “, guess they don’t have a check and balance system. I wish I would have listen when the doctors office told me not to use this company. Unfortunately my insurance will not allow me to change for a few more months. It has only been a few months but I have not had a good experience. Save yourself some time and find another company!!!

Was rudely told by Kristen that I should pay my feeding pump bill before I pay for a roof and lights for my kids. Told her on numerous occasions that my balance is covered under bankruptcy and she still sent someone to take my pump from me! Would never recommend them to anyone!

I have been using a CPAP machine for years. Recently it broke. The company I originally bought it from has gone out of business. I contacted Life HME. I was put in contact with Karen and within 2 days my machine is up and running with all new equipment. She made my experience easy and painless. I would recommend to anyone.

Highly professional, on schedule, provided excellent instructions and training for equipment use, trouble shooting and when to communicate with the home office. Complete information provided effectively in timely manor. Better experience with this provider compared to other DME providers I was associated with in the past. Highly recommend this provider.

My son was discharged from the hospital on December 2nd with no supplies for feeding, wheelchair and oxygen. We traveled three hours home with no supplies. Supplies did not arrive until after 8pm that night. Then the customer service was short, rude, and threatening. I changed companies shortly after and now this company is threatening me again because they failed to obtain authorization for success prior to me discontinuing their services. After discontinuing the services they tried to obtained authorization from my insurance, which they were denied due to another company having authorization to supply services. Now LIFEHME is threatening me with collections because they cannot get claims paid due to their negligence, leaving a mother of a very ill child to fight another battle that should never have been.

The lady I have the most contact with ms Nancy is always is up beat and ready and able to answer any questions or requests .There delivery staff are a group of people that are very prompt and professional. LifeHME was a lifesaver on multiple occasions. I work for an inpatient rehabilitation in Charlotte and needed to quickly find a vendor in Columbia area to deliver large DME items. They have great customer service and timely responses to myself and the families I worked with. Shout out to Virginia, Amanda, and Stefanie. :)

I bought my Cpap and all supplies at LifeHme and it has been a pleasure to work with the staff and I am totally happy with the service and professionalism.At one time I experienced a Equipment issue and a Respiratory Specialist came to my house ,at no charge, and diagnosed the problem. One call to my doctor for the order and problem solved.I have been a patient there for over four years and every experience has been positive! My billing has always been filed to my insurance correctly, with no problems at all.

I was put on oxygen when i got of hospital told 24/7 as i have asthma and copd and being 63 does not help. when they came to my house said not to worry as bill was being taken care of well almost 4 months show up and take equipment back for non payment. i have never gotten a bill in the mail from them as hospital said they were filling some financial help for me as i dont have insurance. now two days later i get a bill for almost 2000.00 dollars, with this virus going on what kind of company does this, i can barely breathe and cant find no where else to help. they could work out something with me but no just show up and repo my oxygen. Ok just got your response to my feedback. You said its been corrected but I just received a bill in the mail Fri for over 3000.00 so how was it corrected as its still the same. Plus dont you need more info besides just as Im sure Im not the only one out there with that name got me some more info and I can give you some more info to see if we can get this corrected thank you

No one wants to need a medical supply company, but if you have to use one I would highly suggest LifeHME. I was given a direct contact and her name is Chelsea Brewer and I am so lucky I get to work. She is fast to response to any email or phone call I leave. She is very knowledgeable in her field and will take the time to explain things until she is sure you understand them as well. She is concerned about the supply order each month and if I forget to reach out to her she reaches out to me. I recently had a mix-up with my supplies and she not only quickly corrected the issue she reassured me each day that she was still working on it and she had not forgotten about me which helped me stay calm, she also showed me compassion and validated my frustrations and worried. No one wants to deal with a medical issue and unfortunately mine is the kind where if I dont get supplies I cannot leave the house. Chelsea has made this entire process less scary. She also looked into other supplies that might help me go back to working out, which at 26 makes me feel more normal in this whole mess. I hope I do not have to have a supply company forever but if I do, I will be a life long patient with LifeHME!

ZERO stars..... infant with G tube (feeding tube). The representative is supposed to call 2 weeks prior to my daughters supplies being shipped out. NOPE!!!! Went on vacation (according to her co worker). She will not be back (according to her voicemail) until after the two week mark. My daughter is out of bags. Secondly I charge this stupid pump from the 70’s at least 12 hours in a 24 hour period but daycare worker calls me at work...pump is dead!!!! I am beyond frustrated and wish I would’ve read the reviews online before agreeing to use this company. I will definitely be on the phone tomorrow trying to find a new medical supply company!

This company scams patients. I required a breast pump for my twin boys that were born prematurely. They issued the breast pump in Charleston MUSC hospital which I paid for one month. After nine days in the NICU my boys were transferred to Greenville Memorial. I was told I can return in Greenville which I did. Carey Edgin was given my insurance forms which he never submitted so I ended up paying for an extra two months (payments taken 9/4 & 10/4). Pump returned end Sep 2018 in Greenville office. Somehow I still owe these people money even though they have been paid. Beware with working with Carey Edgin - he is a liar and proper scam artist. I will be putting in a formal complaint with MUSC so they can warn other NICU moms about LifeHME and hope they use a different provider in future. I have spoken to their customer service on 2 occasions already and told me that this matter will be resolved but I continue to get calls about making a payment for an outstanding balance. I hope they resolve this issue after reading this.

Not happy with this place. They call to do refills and you never hear from them again. My daughter needs internal feeds to stay alive. Do they care? Not one bit. If you can go elsewhere then do.

WOW, I should have looked at these reviews before doing bussiness with them. Im also going to blast the Dr that recommended them. Christin from billing actually said that they should not warn their customers that they may get charged different from their insurance company on what they assume you will be charged. She said you should know what your insurance covers and its not their responsibility to explain that to the customer. Since this company is referred by the Dr they dont see it as a big deal but I will make sure the Dr gets the same review this company is getting so they know the horrible customer service job they perform. This company told me that my insurance covers c pap and I get bill over 250. They never called to let me know anything different. Protect yourself before doing bussiness and get payment charges in writing on what you will charged. If they give you the common answer that they have to file it first, than let them know once they file it and know what you will be charged is when you will do bussiness with them. It sucks that a much needed service is destroyed by some employees that actually dont care about the people that pay their Bills. SAD

Worst experience ever.... Does not care about the quality of life of patient... Only cares about money.. Would not even take the time to enroll in a totally free program, where they would still be paid so that I can get life saving breathing equipment. The said we are not going to get involved in that. What I asked why they said it is because I left their company from supplying oxygen a few years ago. Of note, my insurance denied them and I couldnt pay out of pocket for oxygen. Unprofessional, rude, and money hungry.

If I could give this company no stars it would still be too many. I have had to deal with this company for 2 completely different things and they dropped the ball both. The first time I dealt with this company it was for my Grandma’s oxygen needs. We had a hurricane possibly coming and I called 5 days before it was schedule to land and asked what their plans were for getting oxygen to us since we knew we were going to loose power. They said they would deliver emergency back up tanks later that week. Well the governor did a lane reversal and gave plenty notice (days) that this was going to happen. The company called me the morning of the lane reversal (which wasn’t taking place until that evening) and told me they wouldn’t be delivering oxygen.The second time I dealt with them is when my son was born. I rented a breast pump from the hospital that went through this company. I set it up for automatic pay the 8th of every month. My son was sick in the hospital for a couple months. After we came home the pump battery stopped working so I called them and they switched it out no problems. Only somehow when this happened the auto debit got messed up. I never check the account have a sick child so I didn’t notice. They called me explained what happened. Said it wasn’t my fault it was their mess up. I gave them my card number and they said they would draft it the same amount until it was paid off. A couple months later I get a call that it’s past due.... I repeat the conversation I had a few months ago. And tell them since this is the second time it’s been messed up I would prefer to get paper statements and I will send them a check that way I know it’s being paid. I sent a check and the day after they hit my credit card for the same amount. I called and told them not to use my card I was sending checks and they couldn’t find my card in the system and told me i must have paid online. I canceled my card. That worked for a couple months and then I didn’t get a bill. I called them and requested a paper bill. Sent them a check. Now they have me “in the middle man”. They didn’t send me to collections but some middle man that has no record of the previous arrangement. The kicker is they are charging me late fees. It was there screw up to begin with.... do yourself a favor. Save yourself the headache and find a different company.
