I was seen by Mrs Christine Oates and was highly impressed with how thorough she was in treating me. Mrs Oates took the time to actually listen to my issues and concerns and provide answers in a way that was easily understood. I honestly felt that Mrs Oates had genuine concern for my well-being and provided a level of care that I have not experienced from any other healthcare provider.

Got total bill of $4900!In May, I was recommended to have hearing device to help with my lost hearing on right side. I have BCBS, and was told they were in-network and pay $3200 up front which would apply to my deductible, which I paid with a credit card. However, my insurance company denied the claim due to wrong claim code. This ENT refused to use the right code so that the claim could be processed despite numerous phone calls and contact from me and my companys benefit coordinator. Now they are sending me additional bill for $1400 they said that BCBS would be responsible. Something dishonest about thi place.

I had a great experience with Christine Oaks, Nurse Practitioner. The first time I went to this practice, prior to the merger, I had a terrible experience. I did not plan to return, but glad I did as Christine Oaks was great!

Today was my 2nd visit and each time, they were extremely professional and thorough!! Great attitudes, and the office is so clean and inviting. Id like to thank Rebecca Owens and Grace for taking such great care of me today. Also the young lady who did my hearing test. You guys are the Chick-fil-as of ENT!!❤❤

Christine is awesome! I felt like she went above and beyond what anyone else would have . She made me feel like I wasnt just another patient. Definitely coming back for any and all of my Ent needs.... Well unfortunately I had to edit this review, about 4 months ago I received a call from the billing dept stating that I owe money. I informed them I paid in cash at the time of visit and there shouldnt be any balance. The woman apologized , I asked if this mistake they made was going to be on my credit . She said no.. I was happy no harm done and went on with my day... I just received an automated call stating that I owed money? Its been 6 months. Unfortunately Im going to have to change my rating from a 5 to a 1.

Just started going to this practice. Good people, however, I was told this morning that since they just got a new system they couldnt fax my referral for an MRI for at least five days. It has already been three working days since I was in their office. SO...I suppose my question becomes, how is it my problem that you cant use a new fax machine?

I had an appointment and it was just wasting my time! Before my visit I gave them a call to confirmed my appointment. But when I arrived my doctor was out of the office ! I drove for 2 hours for nothing! Such a terrible service ! Stay away from this clinic and you will save your time and money!

This team of professionals is great! The staff is friendly and very warm and my doctor, Dr. Anna Bouknight, is amazing! She is very caring, attentive and a great listener. She takes my concerns seriously, and provides sound medical advice that makes me feel heard and seen by my medical professional. I appreciate her care of my needs and taking them seriously each visit. Her team of nurses is also very attentive and ask the necessary questions to provide the doctors with detailed information. I highly recommend this office!

Giving one star is to much!! My husband went in and the amount of the office visit alone is astronomical!! Almost a thousand dollars for a office visit and a plastic tube up his nose??? He went for a second visit before getting the first bill and the receptionist said that he needs to pay more than his copay or they are gonna turn him in to collections. He told her that we havent even recieved a bill yet so DONT threaten him!! If we knew the charges from the first visit he would have NEVER went back. He came home after the second visit and vowed that he would NEVER EVER return to this facility. Dr. Bouknight is unprofessional, rude, and very impatient. Thank God for some kind of insurance or we would owe almost 2 grand for absolutely NO resolution. I seriously would NOT recommend this facility or doctor. AWEFUL!!!!!!😡😡

SO i went to the front desk here to make an appointment for my daughter, everyone was very nice. I was told they do not accept our insurance, which was fine with me as I can cash pay. When I said that to her she told me that they do not accept patients without health insurance and paying for services was not allowed. I am still trying to wrap my head around this one.......

I really did NOT want to write this review. But it’s been almost 3 years since I last visited and I’m still being harassed by this company, allow me to back track. A few years ago I was searching for a doctor who could help me overcome some breathing issues that I had. Someone recommended me to this company and I went and gave it a shot. Honestly the staff seemed really friendly and eager to receive my business. My first (and only) visit was awkward and they weren’t helpful with giving me a plan or an idea of how to address my issue. So needless to say I decided shortly after my visit that this wasn’t the place for me to receive the help I needed so I paid my co-pay and left. Here’s where it gets interesting, afterwards I received a number of random letters, and calls demanding that I pay $600, $300, and $150. So I reached out to this company to inquire why I was getting these letters and calls right... This is when I received some pretty hateful phone calls. Since they could never explain to me why I had a bill after paying the day of my visit I knew that we wouldn’t reached a consensus. Well today I received a very hateful call from an individual. When I answered the phone the first thing he said after asking my name was “it’s not going away” in a very hatful tone so I said I don’t owe them anything and I can explain my visit but he interrupted and said “You’re just gonna hang up” and then he hung up on me.🤷🏽So, I write this review not to bash this company but to warn anyone who’s willing to read my post, just choose somewhere else to go. This is not a professionally ran company in my opinion, they’re bullies who seem to want to get over on people and take your hard earned money. Just don’t do it, it’s not worth it.

I arrived at 10:38 for a 10:40 appt. I was the only person in the waiting room and sat there doing 5 minutes of paperwork, when Kelly, the receptionist mis pronounces my name and says they wont see me until 130 bc Im not done with my paperwork. I say, Ive waited on this appt for weeks and Im not late. I am not leaving and coming back. So they let me wait 30 min and the practice manager calls me into a little room WEARING NO MASK while she informs me I will not be seen unless I want to come back at 130. When I argued how unfair/unreasonable, she became more unpleasant. When I asked where her mask was, she told me to get out. So then i took her picture and she screamed, call the cops! An unmasked Karen screaming, call the cops. How very 2020. Palmetto ENT, you outrageously suck.

Emily, Inge, and Jessica were very friendly and good to work with. Im afraid thats the only positive thing I have to say. I met with an NP rather than a doctor, and it was like she didnt want to listen to anything I had to say. She was unprofessional, belittling, and completely out of touch with what goes on in a normal working persons life. Every interaction I had with her was like talking to a child with their fingers in their ears. Ill never come to this office again, and Ive relayed my experiences to my GP, who doesnt intend to send any more referrals here either.

Dr. Thompson is great! He did surgery to remove a tumor from my parotid gland about 10 years ago. It is a delicate and tedious surgery and he did a wonderful job. I have seen him several times since then for other problems. He is very thorough and patiently explains everything and answers any questions. I have always been seen promptly at my appointed time and he does not rush the examination time. The staff has been courteous and competent

Dr. Thompson was great, but the office support staff is very unprofessional. I had a couple EOBs showed up that were supposed to be considered follow-up visits and should have been “no charge”. I called billing on 1/25/2019, left my name, DOB, phone number and an explanation of the issue, and a request for a return phone call. Nothing. Called again on 1/30/2019 with same info and same request. Nothing. Called on 2/4/2019 with same request. Nothing. Called on 2/6/2019 but didn’t default to billing. Choosing a different route and was able to actually talk to someone. I requested to talk to the Office Manager. I was told she was out, but then was asked if they could help. I explained the situation and the unprofessional service I received. I was told that my EOB was being updated and should be cleared up in a few days. I stated that I still wanted to talk to the Office Manger and requested that they leave a message for her to contact me. As of 2/12/19, I have yet to hear back from her.

I have suffered with sinus problems for years and thought after going to many Drs that I would have to suffer with this the rest of my life. One morning I saw a news article on WISTV news and went to their website made an appt. with Dr. Paysinger. After a few visits he found the problem and performed surgery last week. I am still healing but can breathe so much better. Dr. Paysinger and all the people at Palmetto ENT are the best. This is the best experience I have had at any Dr. office. Thank you all so much. I wish I could give you 10 stars!

I have known Dr Paysinger and Thompson for over 13 years and wouldn’t trust anyone but them as my ENTs. I have been struggling with chronic sinus and ear injections that were no longer responding to medications. Dr Paysinger suggested I was a candidate for balloon sinuplasty. After a quick CT of the sinus in his office it was clear this procedure was needed. I was so impressed with Dr Paysinger and his medical asst Gina and how comfortable they made me and easy the balloon sinuplasty was. The cool thing is you get to watch the procedure on the tv screen in the room. I love the doctors , staff and professionalism of the office !

Having Dr. Paysinger do my septoplasty and turbinate reduction was the worst decision of my adult life. During my initial appointment, he brushed off my question about whether the surgery would affect the outward appearance of my nose, acted like it was the stupidest question a patient had ever asked, and assured me that he had done many of these surgeries and never had a problem. I went through with the surgery. After the surgery, Dr. Paysinger was dismissive of my pain and discomfort. After the surgery, my nose collapsed. I immediately went to an ENT/Plastic Surgeon, who informed me that I had a saddle nose deformity, which was caused by overresection of cartilage during my septoplasty. In other words, Dr. Paysinger apparently cut out too much cartilage during the surgery. The middle of my nose was now collapsed and I had minimal airflow through either nostril. I was worse off than before my surgery. I spent months fighting my insurer to cover the revision surgery, and finally BCBS got the opinion of an outside plastic surgeon during their review of my claims denial. That surgeon agreed that my septoplasty was the cause of my problems and that this complication was one that was medically necessary to fix.My plastic surgeon had to cut out a significant portion of rib cartilage (since there was no nose cartilage left) and essentially rebuilt my nose and redid my septoplasty. He did an excellent job considering what he was starting with. But my nose and face will never, ever be the same. Plus, I spent thousands of dollars now in out of pocket expenses and had to go into significant debt to get the revision surgery.During my fight with the insurance company, I requested my records from Dr. Paysinger. There was a section that listed all of the warnings, complications, and side effects that Dr. Paysinger noted he advised me of. These were absolute lies. He never advised me of any potential complications and treated my questions about complications as if they were stupid and naive.I have a lot of respect for medical professionals, and I understand that complications happen sometimes. But it appears this was avoidable. Certainly, at a minimum, he should have advised me that this was a potential complication. It is horrendous that he treats his patients the way that he does. I regret my decision to go with Dr. Paysinger every single day. And I’m still climbing out of the debt that he put me in to fix his screw up.

I was referred to Dr. Ben Paysinger at Palmetto ENT Consultants to address a deviated septum. He was very direct with me concerning his diagnosis and the suggested course of action. This would be the first time I would ever have surgery so I was a bit reluctant. Dr. Paysinger answered all my questions thoroughly and advised me very clearly of potential risks of the procedure. He performed a septoplasty and turbinate reduction. My surgery was a great success. I am in my mid-40s and I am finally able to breathe clearly. I am very thankful for Dr. Paysingers expertise and the way he conducted himself during my entire process. He had someone from his office contact me in the days following my surgery to check on my progress and how I was feeling. This was very much appreciated. I had my 3 week follow up appointment today and everything is going according to plan. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Paysinger and his staff.

Dr. Bouknight performed a tonsilectomy and adenoidectomy on our 3 year old daughter. She was already adverse to doctors because of her reoccuring problems with her respiratory passages. However, Dr. Bouknight is her favorite doctor ever now. She has an amazing bedside manner that put both us and our daughter at ease and her obvious knowledge and experience were invaluable. I would always be fast to recommend Dr. Bouknight to anyone, young or old in need of an ENT!

Stay away!!!Dont use DR. Frank Warder!!!He is a money hungry, very hatefull ENT doctor. He forced the scope up my nose without lidocaine spray, and told me to deal with it.He told me that I had polyps blocking my sinuses and I needed to have sinus surgrery, and when I asked for MY CT SCAN that I paid for so I could have a second option, he refused to give it to me.So when I went to get my second opinion, this doctor said it was aggergies and that the polyps were small and if I treated the allerigies and took steriods they would go away.
