Dr. Zuba is fantastic. By far the best eye Dr that Ive been to. He explains everything and makes sure you are comfortable. His staff is also excellent! I was nervous seeing some of the past reviews here but, I had a wonderful experience. My family and I will definitely be back.

Dr Zuba is Great!!! Explains the steps of the exam making sure everything is complete and checked does not rush through like other doctors I have seen in the past. Friendly staff and nice selection of glasses.

Why is it that the best docs have the worse staff. Dr. Zuba is awesome! Knowledgeable, friendly, patient and thorough. His staff, the receptionist and the technician, act like they hate their jobs. Ive been there several times (myself, with my daughter and with my husband for both exams and back again for eyeglass selections) and they are consistently unpleasant. At least once the technician was rude when I stopped by to inquire about a charge on my bill, which I hadnt noticed until a day later. She had added a feature to my lenses w/o my knowledge. Initially she denied it as she got loud in front of waiting patients, but then acknowledged she added it w/o telling me b/c she assumed I would want it. I couldnt wait to get my glasses so I can cut all ties, which I hate because, again, Dr. Zuba is great.

Dr. Zuba does an amazing, thorough job. He has such a beautiful bedside manner, and his team complements him well. I will be bringing the rest of my family in as well. Thanks Dr. Zuba and Team; keep doing what you are doing!

I have been a patient at Palmetto Eye Care for about 3 years now.Dr. Zuba and his staff have been legendary.

Dr. Zuba is great! Very friendly and gives an in depth educational exam. I truly feel like I got my moneys worth. No waiting and very knowledgable receptionist. My family will see Dr. Zuba again!

The doctor is very sweet the secretary on the other hand seems to be very rude everytime I call her shes very very busy she doesnt say thank you for calling Dr. Zuba office all she says is hold please my source insurance might be a little different from the next but thats no reason to treat me any different I think shes very unprofessional my son needed his glasses for school and she gave me a hassle about a second pair of glasses and you know kids can be very careless with glasses it was a battle with this young lady finally the school decided that they would fill the prescription for me if I was able to get the prescription I called to see if the prescription be faxed over very rude she stated that they had the prescription at the front desk for a while because I didnt come to get the prescription and its been sitting there waiting on me and then she stated that it might not come out as well . So now that Im wanting the prescription faxed in order to to get his glasses ,who really needs his glasses ,.It might not come out correct Im not understanding customer service is the key to anything respect is the key to anything Mr. Zumba would have more customers if he will critique his staff on their customer service this lady is very rude and needs to be removed from this position

I have been a patient of Dr. Zubas for over 25 years! I can always count on him no matter what problems or concerns I have with my vision. In fact, I had to see him yesterday at the last minute! I had something stuck under the inside of my left eye lid.It had left me with a red eye and partially closed. He said to get to his office as soon as possible and he would wait for me. Dr. Zuba was very concerned and made sure I did not leave his office without doing all he could. I am happy to say I am able to see today without feeling like I have something stuck to the inside of my eye lid. It ended up being mascara particles! What a relief to get that out of my eye!Dr. Zuba is kind and very professional. He always greets me with a smile as well as his great sense of humor. In fact, my whole family sees Dr. Zuba for all their vision needs! His new staff Marissa and Rebecca are very friendly and professional! I cannot imagine anyone who works with Dr. Zuba to not enjoy their job. He is a Godly family man, and a staple of the Irmo/Columbia community. He is not only my OD but I also consider him my friend.
