Kaitlin has helped make an overwhelming diagnosis much easier for me to manage. I recently was diagnosed with a condition that needs to be managed through dietary changes, but the doctor gave very little advice on what to actually do. Kaitlin reviewed my lab work and eating habits prior to our consultation, and came prepared for our video call with up-to-date research on my issue. She gave simple and actionable guidelines, and explained the science behind them when I had questions. I also really appreciate the follow-up email that recapped what we discussed, gave clear recommendations, and even had some sample menus for how I could achieve the right balance with foods I like to eat as a pescatarian. Also, shes a lovely person to talk to and cares deeply about her clients. 5 stars, would recommend!

This is seriously incredible!! I do a good amount of running and cycling and was interested in post recovery including foods to help reduce inflammation and assist in injury recovery as well as general weight loss. We did a consultation and we went over my goals, activity levels, health issues, and things I like to eat. She had pointed questions that helped her understand things about my nutrient uptake ability that I would have never even thought of.During our discussion you could tell she was well versed in nutrient research and easily able to talk about what was not as definitive and where recent research was being conducted related to some of my questions.What was MOST impressive was the result that came out of our consultation. Within a day she had written up a very well organized, broken down recommendation that was extremely in depth and showed she had really listened to our entire discussion and what my normal diet looks like.She had areas where she broke down what I normally eat to show where there were deficiencies on intense workout days for efficient recovery. She provided general rules for where I should aim based on how intense the workout is plus weight loss goals paired with a wide range of recommendations/suggestions for foods and snacks based on what I actually like to eat! On top of that were also discussions on different anti-inflammatory foods and how definitive the research was on this, with again specific food options in case I want to try those too.Im really looking forward to trying these ideas and cant see literally negative in having come here whatsoever! I am actually blown away and excited to try the new options! I also love her Instagram blog with her dog with awesome looking meals that can be geared to a wide range of diets and restrictions :).

My husband and I have been working with Kaitlin for over 5 weeks now. She is a pleasure to work with and has been very accommodating to our food likes and dislikes. No food is off limits, but rather she has made us more mindful of our eating. She has given us many tips and recipes that we’ve incorporated into our lives. Being able to connect virtually has been perfect for us. Kaitlin is knowledgeable and caring and we would highly recommend her.

I have struggled with my nutrition most of my life, always following fads just to get frustrated and give up. Kaitlin has been so helpful, working to find ways to improve my nutrition without making it difficult. She gives you real world solutions to your dietary concerns and makes learning about nutrition enjoyable. Ive had a great experience with my Dietitian Kaitlin. She is always bright and cheerful and ready to help. We have made a lot of progress to meet my weight loss goals and my Doctor has been so pleased with my numbers. I didnt think it would be so fun working on my diet but it really has and I feel so much better.

Kait was very knowledgeable and helpful! She took the time to understand my needs and goals and never made them feel trivial or unachievable. She gave good suggestions and responded quickly to my questions as I sent her pictures of things from the store as I shopped. She then followed up a few months later to see how everything was working out. She is always kind, professional and helpful!

Virtual RDN was a lifesaver. I received bloodwork that my cholesterol was on the border of being elevated, but I had no idea what to do. After 30 minutes, I had a full blown meal guide, great advice on what to stay away from and what to have more of. All around terrific experience. The convenience of being able to connect any time anywhere just makes it that much more of a no-brainer. I highly recommend this service for all of your dietary needs!

Finally, someone who actually cares and is passionate about helping you meet your overall health and nutrition goals. Kait is a wonderful dietitian who spends countless hours working with you to create a personalized, tailored plan that really works. I’ve seen so many health professionals who simply dismiss patient concerns and abruptly tell you what you have to do or not do. That is definitely not the case with Kait – she really listens to your concerns and questions and creates manageable action items. She is incredibly friendly, empathetic, and knowledgeable. She actually won dietitian of the year in the state of Maryland which is pretty cool. I also really like how she continues to work in an actual hospital setting with cancer patients, so you know that she actually knows her stuff. Overall, I highly recommend Kait – I know it can be a little scary and frustrating to work with a private nutritionist, but after a few sessions, I can’t believe how much information I learned and how much of a difference it made in my life.

I would highly recommend Kaitlin as your dietician. It’s hard to focus on myself with a stressful job and two little kids. On top of that I’m a picky eater! I went to Kaitlin thinking this was too big of a challenge but she delivered. Not only am I eating better but I’m losing weight and feeling a lot more confident. Kaitlin’s been great throughout the process - checking in on my progress and seeing if I have other questions. Go to Kaitlin for your nutritional needs.

Ive been working with Kait since early March 2020 -- shes been my guide and accountability partner. I had gained 10 lbs. last year, and I gained 10 lbs. the year before that. Since partnering with Kait, Ive successfully lost 12 lbs. (since 3/4/20) and have kept the weight off even during the pandemic. I still have another 9-10 to go to get back to where Id like to be, however, I am taking it slow to make these changes sustainable. Per Kaits guidance: I am keeping a journal of my food intake/exercise/mood and noting what I am grateful for; Im watching portion size, and drinking more water which helps me recognize if I am truly hungry or really just thirsty; and I am following up regularly with Kait to ensure the accountability aspect. Her sound advice makes sense, and the accountability part is what really makes this work.

I am a typical American male - i.e., one of the naturally least healthy eaters on the planet. I react to a bowl of salad like Dracula to a room of garlic-scented candles. So you might think Im not the natural audience for the recipes on VRDN - wheres the heart attack risk? Well, I thought the same, but consider me a convert: at my household weve been having recipe after recipe from this site and not one has disappointed - all have been delicious and a cinch to make to boot. Five out of five satisfied belches!(As an added bonus, these avoid the recipe site trend of hiding the actual ingredients and directions within an unrelated novella. So thanks to Kait for trimming the fat not only from my waistline but from the format itself.)
