Secretary and guard at the front door have nice personality, but the wait time after you submit any documents is a mind boggling 6 - 8 weeks for your response.

It’s great what this organization does for the community. It has a wonderful staff who are committed to their service and take pride in helping others. I was honored to assist with the organization in the storage for a service event, and got to see first-hand how they maintain a sufficient inventory to help customers day in and day out.

Since the pandemic they have been terrible

Supposed to be a place to get help if youre in need but if youre really in a bad place and someone who is actually poor they will NOT help you! I was told today they only help people with a certain amount of income. So if youre trying to get back on your feet and do everything you can to make a better life for yourself and cannot work due to a disability they turn you away. So shameful and sad. Walked in feeling hopeful, walked out feeling hopeless. As if I dont have enough to deal with no I will be homeless thanks to this terrible place. They discriminate against you for having a disability and turn you away in your time of need and suffering. Only help you if youre rich and wealthy. This is the most twisted place Ive ever encountered! NOT a place for people who truly need help! If I could give zero stars I would.

I love this place cause they help u out and very professional

I applied for my son to go to head start after MONTHS of giving me the run around I find out my son has been placed on the waitlist due to “over income” mind you I’m struggling to pay rent because I don’t have money to pay for childcare which hinders my working hours, I have no family and all they can tell me is try to find a daycare! Don’t you think if I could have afforded it he would have BEEN in daycare. Meanwhile you have people who really don’t need the help getting accepted left and right! I’m at my wits end and idk what else to do! I just need help!!!!!!!

They never help ! Always giving a hard time . I honestly think they pick and choose who to help . Its a serious discrimination issue here

Help who ? This place is only reserved for special people. They rather see you homeless then help you whatsoever. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I cant believe how much organizations theyve gotten money from and should be helping people , but instead turn you down and send you away. Its supposed to be once a year emergency assistance when needed but they act like the money that keeps them founded to help people in need belongs to them . This is such a shame and they should be ashamed ??? They dont care one bit about you .
