Covid has been a pressing time for us all. CMCA have truly stepped up and pulled me through this and last year. Blessing on blessings to you forevermore. Let me just say, everyone didnt help me. But you were one of the ones who did.

I think they are pocketing everyones money who applys...Ive never had a good experience with this company. I will never try again and would not recommend it to anyone.

This place is the heartbeat of our community. The resources Nd allocations they offer the community is unmatched. I would like to see a rental assistance program implemented. But other than that, this organization is the GO TO for all you need to know regarding resources for 7 different counties. The staff are wonderful as well.

Nobody there and even when someone is theyre usually rude and condescending

I recently found the Central Missouri Community Action and am very happy I did. The Missouri Womens Business Center is an amazing secret that I think more people should know about. They offer free business coaching, business networking for women and seminars and workshops that would normally be cost prohibitive to a small business owner such as myself. The ladies that work there are wonderful people that actually care about your success.I cant speak for any of the other services they offer there but I am always greeted when I walk through the main door.

Absolutely cant live without the help and services I receive here. Love the case worker. It has literally been a life changing experience.

The 2 people I talked to at the energy assistance department in Columbia were rude and the supervisor was just a little hateful. She wouldnt explain anything to me, and she acted like she didnt have the time or patience to be dealing with the public. She definitely shouldnt be left in charge of a public assistance department. Not once did I get rude or raise my voice. Not until I was walking out the door at least. Hopefully they knew exactly how I felt about them as I was leaving!

Had our taxes done there. Nice. Didnt have to wait but few minutes to see the accountant. Best thing is its free.

This agency helps people with many needs.

Can never get a hold of anyone no matter which office one tries contacting. Same outcome a recording claiming your wait time is 60 min.. which it continues to say AFTER youve been om hold for more than a hour.

Compassionate help without judgement. Definitely recommend.

I love the workers they do a good job

Was there to Speak to Laura in administration. They told me to sit down and call her of course I got an answering machine left several messages she never returned my call. You can never talk to anybody when you go there so dont bother.

They help many people but couldnt help me. They demanded paystubs from a job i dont have anymore and just couldnt wrap their minds around the fact that a job that fired me might not be forthcoming with info to help me in regards to my release.

Always there to help out when in need. Last winter we had an issue with my paperwork that was beyond them but they worked with us to figure a way around it, even as busy as they were at the time they still managed to send our stuff through ASAP.

Because I receive TANF and I am in between jobs , they wanted to do 60 to 80 hours of free work to get full TANF amount , social worker cant help with anything , receive diapers and wipes once and was told after 3-4 months I could receive diapers or wipes again ! Terrible place wouldnt recommend her to no one
