Tanya Green is one of the best midwifes in the Middle TN area!! My husband and I had our first last August and were so grateful to have Tanyas prenatal care as well as care during labor and delivery. Not only is Tanya and her team dedicated to continuing education and learning, but they are also patient and dedicated to their clients. I had a really difficult first trimester, but Tanya went above and beyond supporting my husband and I. We will always recommend and use Tanya for babies to come!

I met Tanya before she officially became a midwife but I knew she was for me! We immediately hit it off and she just had a sweetness about her that was just refreshing! She helped me through two miscarriages and finally the birth of my youngest son! Each pregnancy she walked along side me and while she gave me her expertise and her opinion she ALWAYS wanted to make sure I was a part of every decision... that’s what this is all about isn’t it? It’s my birth experience.. not a “procedure” and we should be given the liberation to (safely) birth the way we want to- to have the very best experience possible. The birth of my son was supposed to be a water birth in my living room .. but he came so fast I never made it out of my bedroom! Tanya was barely able to get her gloves on but she was there and made sure my husband did exactly what he was supposed to do to catch our boy. She was amazing with my other kids and even did a little class showing them the placenta and explaining what it did for the baby! Her after care is just the right amount of hands on/ hands off and she respected our decisions for what we wanted done and what we didn’t want done. She and her team even helped with cleanup! I will definitely use her for all of my future pregnancies!

This pregnancy was a rainbow pregnancy and I was nervous much of the time. Tanya was such a gift every step of the way! She has such a comforting presence and also knows her stuff too. I was getting discouraged when I was nearing the last few CM before delivery and she helped me reposition, and used essential oils on my brow and a cool towel, and helped me refocus and make it without medical intervention! she also made all the logistics super smooth, paperwork and billing went smoothly and I appreciated her clear communication through each step. I cant recommend her enough! I do suggest booking the exact second you figure out youre pregnant because she fills up her calendar fast! 😍

Tanya was the absolute perfect person to guide me thru my pregnancy and birth! From the moment I spoke with her I knew she was the person God placed in so many places in my life for this very moment! There’s not a single thing I would change about how my pregnancy and birth went with Tanya, if you have the ability to book her take it!!!

Tanya made our birth experience incredible! When we first met there was immediately a connection. During all of the prenatal visits, all questions were answers and concerns addressed. When we knew birth was close, she kept checking in to see how I was feeling. During labor and birth, Tanya let me labor, checked on us when needed and was such a wonderful support. After our baby girl was born, we were made to feel like it was the most magical and special birth. There was never a time we were concerned or felt unsafe. After delivery, she came back to check on us and do checks on baby. I would recommend Tanya to anyone! She is very professional. I would have tons more babies just to be able to have a homebirth experience with Tanya.

It really doesnt get better than Tanya! When I first met her, I knew she was the midwife for me! She is the most empathetic person who truly cares about every single mama she works with! She is super knowledgeable and makes you feel very prepared and empowered to give birth! She spends an hour with you at each appt and truly cares about you as a person, answers any questions you have, and is very thorough checking everything pregnancy wise. You do not get that kind of personalized care anywhere else. She also has such a calming presence which is so needed during pregnancy! I couldnt recommend her enough!!

Tanya is fantastic! I had my first child last June and Tanya was my midwife for our home birth. She and Elizabeth (assistant) were a dream. They knew what to do at all times and guided me through the labor and delivery process with gentleness and strength!

We used Tanya for our 5th baby and could not have asked for a better midwife! She was patient, included our older children in every appointment, and is incredibly skilled at what she does. Thank you for loving our family so well!!
