He actually listened to what my symptoms were and was able to give me a proper diagnosis. He was fast and efficient with his care and the office is very friendly.

I feel so fortunate to have found a medical provider that actually remembers me and cares about what I need. Knee shots are no fun but Dr Stavros does everything possible to make me comfortable. Had the absolute best experience at Midlands Wednesday October 27, 2021.Had a bad fall on the 26th and spent 6 hours at emergency room leaving with no definite answers and in a very uncomfortable splint!!When arriving at Midlands I was in the examination room with Dr. Armsey within 5 minutes. He immediately cut the splint off , had x-ray done and determined I had a radial elbow fracture. Provided a sling that was so much more comfortable.Can’t say enough to emphasize my approval of Midlands-Dr. Armsey and the office staff- ALL were absolutely wonderful!!!

Dr. Stavros took everything into consideration when coming up with the next plan of action for me. He asked questions and wanted to know if I had questions as well. I was very pleased with the plan of action that we decided on together because he took everything I told him about into consideration. I am very pleased with the care that I have received from Dr. Stavros.

Dr. Green did an exceptional job on my shoulder. Even though this was my 3rd shoulder surgery (the other 2 were done by another surgeon) I feel as though this one had by far the better result and much easier recovery, Ive regained all my strength and 100% of my range of motion. Dr. Green takes his time to explain your type of injury and the solution he takes to tackle it. His bedside manner is great and answers any questions you may have thoroughly and in a manner thats easy to understand. I would highly recommend him for shoulder stability surgery and as a general orthopedic surgeon.

Im a long time patient at Midlands Orthopaedics. My latest encounter has been surgery on my left thumb and hand by Dr. Seth Bowman. Hes friendly, doesnt rush & explains everything in detail. My cast was taken off yesterday with physical therapy to begin next week. I now have a doctor at Midlands for every major joint in my body! All of them are Number 1 in my opinion.

Midlands Orthopedics was well.worth the hour long commute to visit with Dr. Morthola in order to take care of my health care needs. The entire staff was very pleasant and helpful.The building was very clean with a abundance of parking to include very friendly security staff! The area is also very close to DowntownColumbiawhereasyou can find great foods and entertainment after your visit. Dr. Morthola was very thorough and knowledgeable of her duties. Very caring staff and doctors. If you have a foot or ankle problem Dr. JAMES is the person to see. I seriously injured my ankle several years ago and he operated on it after trying to see if it would heal casted. It is great! No problems.

Dr. James Physicians Assistant Lauren Mothena did an incredible job healing a nail wound I had on my right foot. Im diabetic and over weight. We tried an off loading shoe but ended up putting me in a cast. In the beginning of this process I was worried I might lose my foot because it didnt heal and became infected. Long story short, thanks to Lauren I am healed. I can do everything I used to do again. My wife and I am very thankful and grateful for Laurens care.

At 74 years old and serious health problems you could consider me an expert on doctors and hospitals. My experience yesterday was the best in my life. My daughter dropped me off for a hip injection and took the children to a park. She was amazed when 21 minutes later I call to say I was done and waiting. My procedure was not rushed and the doctor was caring and professional, but I realized that the process of check in/out was awesome. I could not be more pleased with the service.

Both Dr. James and Mothena are wonderful and attentive. They listened to my concerns and came up with the best pain management plan.

Dr James is EXCELLENT. I was in severe pain when I made my appointment. He was able to see me in two days. I described my problem, he had X-rays done and knew immediately what my problem was. He prescribed meds and an orthotic device and already, one day later, I’m doing so much better that I have very little pain and am almost back to normal. Also, the staff at the Greg street office couldn’t have been nicer! From greeting me and answering my questions & X-raying me without causing pain to making sure I had all the information I needed when I left, they were outstanding! The doctor does a great job but they over book. It’s about an 8 hour process every time we have to come. Our surgery will be scheduled for 11 and you don’t go back till 4, and not out till after 6. The surgery itself only took an hour! The doctors and staff are long gone and we are still there waiting to leave

They were very nice to me and talked about the things I had been having problems with and what needed to be done for me to get on my feet.

Doctor Ugino Was very helpful kind and pleasant to work with. He diagnosed my issue and promptly treated me the same day that I saw him.He was very friendly and even talked me through my procedure To take my mind off of it. Office staff were all very friendly and efficient.

I have been going to Midland Orthopaedics for 10 or so years now. I began my experience with Dr. Armsey for hip pain. He & his assistant put me at ease pretty much right away. I have asked him for recommendations for providers to see within the practice for other issues (knee, ankle, foot, spine) and each doctor I met I trusted and I am still a patient of theirs today. Doctor DaSilva tried to release me to back to work full duty only after two weeks post surgery of a torn meniscus. At my follow up appointment, he assessed me in a few seconds, didnt even touch my knee, only looked at it, and would even discuss how my therapy was going or what aspects of movement I was struggling with. Very sloppy and bad bedside manner.

Dr DaSilva did my knee replacement. The Best Orthopaedics Dr EVER!!!! He cares ALOT about his patients!!!!! He is the same person all the time

After a referral from my primary care physician, my first contact with MO was extraordinary because she went out of her way finding a way to get me in as early as possible during the busy holidays. The facility is amazing and I was never kept waiting except for a brief period which had Dr. Green poke his head in and explain, not leaving me just sitting there. Problem was explained, treatment began. A good experience in all.

Great experience . Got in right away and was diagnosed just as fast. Instead of prescription they gave me samples to see if they worked first.

I have always had a good experience with Midlands Orthopedics and the staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Thomas Armsey is my primary physician there and he is wonderful. I get injections in my hips for arthritis and he’s very careful and I have never been in unnecessary pain or discomfort while getting the injections. I highly recommend Midlands Orthopedics and neurosurgery.

I have been struggling with an unusual pain in my shoulder with certain motion of my right arm. Not moving it to where it hurts for several months had caused increasing weakness in my right arm and shoulder. I visited Dr. Green this past Monday. He checked out the motion of my right arm, took some X-Rays and told me that there are no serious mechanical issues. He said the solution to the pain and limited motion is physical therapy and signed me up for inpatient physical therapy starting next week.

Jay was the complete professional. He explained the problem in detail. Heck, he even used the plastic model to explain the bone structure to me!Never had seen a medical professional utilize one before! I am looking forward to follow up visit.

Dr James is very thorough and a very caring doctor. You do not feel rushed as he takes his time to talk with you and listen to your aches and pains. I highly recommend Dr James as I have seen him for several years!!!

Appointment with Dr. OLeary to discuss options for a knee issue. Honest and professional answers as to options that I should consider at this time that helped guide mu ultimate decision to hold off on any surgery or treatments at this time. Will certainly be back if issue worsens.

If you’re looking care in the medical field, find another office! I was seen by two providers at this location, Dr Armsey and Dr Francis. Dr Francis was amazing and seems like she genuinely cares about her patients. Dr Armsey on the other hand doesn’t seem like he cares at all. I was seen late 2020 and was hopeful even after getting news that I had broken my back months before and another provider missed it. I was prescribed physical therapy which I attended until my pain got so bad that I had to stop and be further evaluated. Dr Armsey then ordered an MRI and found that I had two herniated discs which was what was causing my pain. At this point my pain had become a daily occurrence. I currently still have pain while sitting, standing, walking, basically any activity. I asked Dr Armsey for a temporary disability placard which he denied stating that I did not meet the requirements. I then asked for more pain medication which was put off until I had a follow up appointment. At this point I was referred to have a steroid shot, which I got but didn’t help. I messaged Dr Armsey and all I got was a message stating that I was referred to neuro and that my appt was scheduled for me without my input. I asked for a work note or work limitations to give me time to rest since my job requires that I move around all day at a quick pace, that request was met with a work restriction of not being able to lift 10 or more pounds. I don’t understand how my pain while walking, sitting, basically anything has to do with lifting. My job doesn’t even require lifting on a daily basis. At this point, I am done with Dr Armsey and this practice and have already requested to see another practice to get a second opinion and possibly surgery. Save your time and energy.

Every step of my care (broken ankle not requiring surgery), from the registrar who returned my online request for an appt in a timely manner to check-out, was performed with kindness, efficiency, & strict adherence to Covid restrictions for which I was very much appreciative. Lauren Mothena, PA-C performed my ankle exam, treated me with respect, answered my questions with genuine concern, & explained my course of treatment thoroughly. I was fitted in a boot by a competent tech and was out in less than an hour (I was seen at appt time, no waiting). My only suggestion would be to offer the option to fill out, online & ahead of time, the multiple forms I had to complete when I arrived. Luckily, I arrived early enough to complete them right about appt time.

I had a very good experience at the doctors office the doctor offered some really good help for my lower back pain that I was looking at the time and so far what he had put me on seem to have done the job I am so happy and so pleased that I’m not having severe pain anymore so I want to thank the doctor for everything he has done for me.
