Doctor is very nice! She explain clearly the exam and makes sure that you dont have any questions left.

When I came to my appointment, I was asked multiple times if I was using insurance, I said yes, yet nobody stopped to tell me that my insurance plan was not accepted here. After my exam and I was purchasing my glasses, the saleswoman again did not tell me that my insurance was not accepted. The price was then given and I asked if that was the price after the insurance, to which the woman answered yes, it would have been even more with insurance. I was asked to pay almost $500 for simple reading glasses, not knowing that my insurance was not considered in the price. I was grossly misinformed throughout the purchasing process in terms of cost. Luckily it was easy to cancel my order and I ended up purchasing my glasses elsewhere.

Dr. Nguyen was fantastic. She answered all my questions, checked my glasses to make sure they were still the correct prescription. She recommended a new brand of contact lenses that feel 100% more comfortable than the AcuVues Ive been wearing for 20+ years. I did have to learn a new way to remove the new lenses, but it is totally worth it. Highly recommend her.

This was the best experience that Ive ever had at an eye exam. Dr S. Delgado is amazing. He is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares for his patients. I highly recommend Columbia Eye Care.

I recently scheduled an eye exam to renew my Maryland drivers license. I have been utilizing the services of Columbia Eye Care for several years. Excellent customer service, and professional care.

Dr Delgado is not only a great doctor, but also a fun person to speak to who takes an interest in his patients. I have known him now for several years and he is definitely on top of new science and technology related to keeping ones eyes healthy!

The follow up was great. The doctor made sure my contacts were still fitting as they should and answered my questions.

The front desk person was awesome. She checked me in very quickly even though I did not have an appointment. The PA was very nice and efficient as well. Dr. Delgado is very knowledgeable, efficient and cares about me as a person. This is an excellent practice.

Dr. Gidlund is awesome--so awesome that I still drive to Columbia to see her even though I live all the way in the middle of Baltimore City these days. She is *excellent* about patient education, as well as extremely knowledgeable and personable. The office staff and technicians are friendly, professional, and thorough.

Dr Nguyen has always been my go to optometrist. She professional and explains your exam in a step by step so you clearly understand any vision issues you have concerns about. I value her skills and time spent in performing eye exams.

My experience was excellent, to say the least. The Doctor because of his diligence and attention to detail, was able to find a discrepancy in my prescription from another Doctor. I have always been happy with my care at Columbia Eye Care.

My insurance prefers other providers most likely because it cheaper to them. But not all experiences are equal and for 2 years I suffered from inferior prescriptions. So it was nice to return to Columbia Eye Care to see Doctor Melissa Gidlund again. She prescribed sunglasses to me 2+ years ago that are still better than those I received for 2 years at a boutique store.While it was busy and some staff were being trained overall the initial screening process was pleasant and professional. They also have some of the latest technology which again the boutique dealer lacked.As for the Doctor Melissa Gidlund, she took extra time to examine me and explain in an easy manner the results. She made the whole experience pleasant. Highly recommend Columbia Eye Care and also recommend that when scheduling try to get Doctor Gidlund though I am confident the other doctors are also good she is wonderful.Oh, EyeMasters (which my insurance will not cover as they prefer Target...I what the Target?) is great, professional and quick to provide glasses. It was nice not being that I had to come back in 2-3 weeks to pickup glasses as EyeMasters can make them on the spot for you.Thanks to everyone for helping me see better!

Great customer services. Explained to me what was going on at ever aspect of my appointment. The doctor sat with me to discuss what we saw in my eye exam and explained what we should do next. He made me comfortable about my next steps and speaking with the specialist.

No wait time. Well cleaned and spatial distancing was well managed. The only reason you did not get 5 stars was because your receptionist had her mask under her nose. In front of her was the sign on how to properly wear your mask.

Dr. Gidlund was amazing. She explained everything to me during my eye exam as she was going step by step. Made sure to explain some very technical things going on with my eye in a way that I could understand them. Showed me images of my eye and pointed to different areas of my eye and explained what the picture might be indicating in terms of eye health etc. This is definitely the best eye exam experience Ive had. Ill left with so much more understanding​ about my eyes and what they look like...and Ive. been getting eye exams for 13 years!

Not exactly a high rating, is it? Frankly, it was a two-part experience. It is my opinion (as well as the opinion of the store management at LensCrafters), that I was robbed of $69 for an eye exam that should have been processed through my insurance. He said that this will be used as a teaching moment for the staff at Columbia Eye Care. What it taught me, of course, is that Ill take my eye exam business somewhere else the next time. I wont hold my breath waiting for an explanation. As for the LensCrafters staff....they were really very good.

I had an appointment at 5:40 pm. I arrived 5:25pm . I was waiting and waiting. At 6:50 the doctor was ready to see me. The stores closes at 7:00pm . I just waited to complaine to the doctor personally but was not seen.Really bad experience. I you dont value your time this is a place for you, but not for me.Dr. Stephen Delgado was very unprofessional.

The eye exam and staff there were GREAT. The staff and service at the LensCrafter glasses part were AWFUL. I am sorry I cant give five stars for the one and one star for the other. Go to the eye exam place, but take your script somewhere other than then LensCrafter part.
