We were absolutely pleased with the training that Jess provided to Lillie, our 6 month old Newfie Doodle puppy in a 60 pound body. While very sweet and lovable, she was stubborn and frequently uncooperative who loved to dig in the backyard, jump up on visitors, run through the house, and counter-surf. We had trained her in the basics to which she obeyed when she wanted to. Jess took Lillie into her home for two weeks of intense training with amazing results. Jess took Lillie to Lowe’s on several occasions for exposure to the public which we were able to see through videos that were shared with us. We met Jess there on the last day of training at which time we took Lillie off-leash throughout the store with her in complete obedience of each command. All of the behavior issues are gone, and I walk Lillie every morning for a mile completely off-leash and at complete “heel” even when meeting other walkers with their dogs. Can’t say enough about the great skills and compassion that Jess has in her training of dogs. The training has made our life with Lillie so much more enjoyable and worth the expense.

When we started training our dog was very aggressive towards other dogs. It was embarrassing. Bethany helped us learn a variety of obedience techniques, but what finally worked was a prong collar. They look Medieval, but Bethany took the time to show me how to use the collar and made sure I knew what I was doing.I can now take my dog on walks and she walks at a heel with a slack leash. The other day a dog came charging at us and she barely reacted. This was money well spent.

We were a little skeptical about giving our dog to a stranger for two weeks, but we are SO glad that we trusted K9 with our baby. Our trainer, Jessica, was absolutely amazing. Our dog left a crazy German Shepherd pup and came back in control of herself. Jessica sent us pictures, videos, and updates every single day, and she made us feel so much better about everything. She really was the best trainer we could have asked for. If you are on the fence, GO FOR IT!! It is worth every penny.

Our golden retriever Honey had the best experience with Jess at Off Leash! She went for the two week board and train and she came back so well behaved. It was definitely worth it! Great trainers that really helped us get our boys under control. We have just had 4 of our 8 lessons with them and the difference is already night and day. We work with our boys just about daily and I cannot thank the trainers enough for teaching us what to do. Highly recommend these guys and worth every penny!!!

We had Jess for our newly adopted Maxx who was completely untrained. We did the 2-week training and Jess gave back to us a different dog! Jessica did wonders with our GSP and was great during the training process and after. She always sent us training videos during the two week boarding program and a year later she still checks in and answers any questions we may have. I was not able to send my dog because she needs more service dog tasks as opposed to obedience. However, they took a great deal of time listening to my situation to determine if they could help or not. They also told me where to look for places that do that kind of training. They even checked back with me later to see how it was going. They made no false promises about what they could or could not do. And, they never tried to sell me on training that cost more. They were very considerate and tried to find the best place for my girl to get trained .I would absolutely recommend them!

My dog was a rescued Husky. (No we did not know what we were getting into) Once we got passed the cute part the devil horns came out of the head and the demon of destruction came in. Breaking off leashes running trying to chase squirrels birds rabbits etc. She tore everything up became aggressive toward my wife and very dominant. It came to the point where it was my wife or the dog so something had to happen. That’s when off leash K9 and Beth came in and transformed my dog 180. We sent her off for two weeks and came back leash trained not being bad. Fast forwarding almost two years later still doing great. We don’t use the collar as much but still refresh but obedient with out. However when she does try to act up we ask her if she wants to go see Beth again and she straightens up real quick! Haha. If you are considering sending your dog off choose off leash. The price is whatever the dog you will get back will be one you can forget the past and love unconditionally!

AMAZING! I rescued a pit mix, Elio, that had no training, anxiety issues, and acted like a brat 90% of the time. He jumped and bit me and whoever else walked through our door, pulled on his leash constantly, barked at everything, etc etc. I tried literally everything with him, even training him on my own 30 min/day, and he still had so many issues. I signed him up for the two week board & train with Bethany expecting him to be a little better but still a brat (just bc he was SO bad), but OMG. He literally is a different dog. He listens to us when tell him off, I can easily walk him on a leash, and I can bring him out in public without worrying he will lose his mind. Before, I felt there was nothing I could do to control him, and now I feel completely in control with him. And he has so much less anxiety now, which is great! I feel like his true personality has started to come out since he can relax. I shouldve signed him up wayyyy sooner. Its one of the best investments Ive ever made. Bethany is great and kept me updated and sent me videos. I almost cried when I saw Elio walking around off leash at Lowes totally calm. I saw the great reviews, but I never thought my dog would be that good, but it really is true! Bethany helped me understand him and gave me the tools I needed to continue working with him at home. I seriously couldnt recommend them enough!

We chose the two-week board-and train for our two dogs. Trainer Bethany sent us daily video updates which were not only reassuring, but fun to watch their progress! We now refer to this as “summer camp” because it was clear they were having a good time. One dog in particular who was very anxious and reactive was significantly calmer and more confident when we got her back. Before, she would drive us crazy barking her head off at our cats. Now, they peacefully co-exist! This was a huge confidence boost for both our dogs. I cannot day enough good things about Off-Leash K9 Columbia. In fact, we have already signed our new dog up to go to camp this fall!

I had a very good experience with Off Leash K9Training. Nathan is a professional and explains the logic behind the training process. I am very comfortable with letting my 9 month old puppy off leash, so much so that my two year old dog has followed his behavior as well. I was not able to let my older dog off leash in the front yard, but now am comfortable doing so while sitting on the front porch. Worth the cost, if you are willing to do your homework and train several times a day on your own!

If you are thinking about doing the boarding and training program I highly recommend it. I was apprehensive to leave our Cooper for two weeks at first. Our trainer was Jessica and we left her with our very disobedient golden retriever and in the two weeks he was with her he came back so well behaved. Making this decision was the best thing we could’ve ever done our lives with our golden are so much easier. He’s been home now for a month and the progress he made in the two weeks with her has continued at home. I wish I would have done it sooner. Please don’t think twice about it if you are on the fence with your fur baby! Jessica was so awesome, we got daily videos and updates on his progress and we are forever thankful for her and this program!

I would not recommend this company for dog training. I am a large dog lover and we have three mastiff mixes that all come from shelters/rescues. With large dogs we understand the need for rules and boundaries or else they can take over and/or tear up your house. Plus adopting from shelters, dogs often develop bad habits so we are very consistent with basic training and providing a structured environment for our pups. Our newest adoption is almost 2 now and weve had him for about 1.5 years. Hes been a handful to say the least and we decided to get some professional help to see if they could help correct some of his issues. He already knows most basic commands so I was more interested in the advanced classes but we could not do the advanced classes without going through the basic ones first. I purchased the basic/advanced package which comes with 4 basic and 4 advanced and offers a discount on the advanced classes when you buy them up front. The first three classes went well because we were covering things he was familiar with. The fourth class the trainer stopped 20 minutes in because we finally introduced him to something he hadnt seen before and his responses became increasingly negative as the trainers corrections became stronger and stronger. I already had my doubts but this class further proved that this was probably not going to work. I did not want to continue with the training so I emailed the owner. I still had one more basic class remaining and 4 advanced classes. I requested a refund for just the advanced classes. He was not willing to give me a refund and told me I should do shorter more frequent training sessions. That would be impossible with this company because its hard for me to even get one class a month with their schedule. We rescheduled the 4th basic class to try again but the trainer canceled on me the day of. Bottom line if you have dog that presents more behavioral issues than normal this company is probably not the one to go with. Or if you just want to give it a try dont buy the basic/advanced classes up front like I did just in case your dog doesnt do well with the basic classes.I love dogs and all people who work with and support pets! A trained dog is way less likely to end up in a shelter or put down and the people that understand this like dog trainers I stand behind! I am just sharing my experience.

I dropped off an out of control dog and, after just two weeks, got back a well mannered, fun-to-be-with dog. The trainers are great! My dog now obeys his commands and is no longer out of control. What an excellent difference. Well worth the cost of the training. If I ever get a new dog, hell be going back as a puppy for training. Bottom line, if you want a well-behaved dog, but dont have the time to train him yourself, then send him to the training.

Having classes with Bethany; absolute stellar results already with our nearly 3 yr old german shephard. Separated the classes by one a week to give us time to learn and practice with him since we just got him 29 Sep. He enjoys the class and working with her as well.

Great experience with offleash! Jessica Myer is an excellent trainer; very professional and knowledgeable! During the two weeks she provided an update on Marcello, our Cane Corso’s progress, lots of videos. With each video we were amazed at the progress. Before offleash we could not walk Marcello on a leash or take him to public places without a fight. Jessica is still available to met with us to provide guidance and tips. She has a lot of patience and love for dogs! We highly recommend offleash. No regrets!

I was almost ready to give my puppy up because he was so destructive, disobedient, nipping, jumping, you name it. I had 2 lessons went to the third lesson and was told I needed to board him for training. Best thing that ever happened to us. The program and Jessica Myer brought me back a new dog. He is still a puppy but now he minds almost every time . I have actually walked my puppy in Lowe’s without a leash! Plus I was given all the money I paid for lessons back which most companies would not have done. I can not give these trainers and their program enough praise. When Jesse and I are practicing people always stop and ask how I got my dog to behave and I give them the number for off leash training.

After calling 10-15 dog trainers, Nathan was the first that I felt comfortable enough leaving my puppy with for two weeks. Now that it is over, Im certain that we made the right choice. Nathan did wonders with our high energy puppy. No need to look any further if you need help with your dog.

I was taken back by the price at first having never personally getting my dog trained. I chose the basic package and threw caution to the wind. My husky was driving me crazy with his constant running away from home problem so I took him to training. The staff was very friendly and took the time to train me on how to train and reinforce good behaviors with my dog along with making sure my husky knew how to perform commands. Within the first week, my wild husky was already learning how to walk with me and pay attention to me while we were outside. After the 2nd lesson, I let my husky, who previously ran a mile and a half away from home, off leash and to my amazement, he maintained his positive behavior. Now, I rarely have to use the leash. (I still keep the collar on just in case.) My dog and I have learned how to interact with each other and thats priceless. All in all, dont be intimidated by prices. These trainers work miracles and ensure you and your dog will be more confident and happier together.
