I called the office today for my 5 year old daughter. She would have been a new patient. They advised they did not have an open appointment until January. I explained that we were having a dental emergency, she had 2 teeth growing in, and the 2 they were replacing were barely loose. The employee advised they did not have emergency appointments and asked if I had tried wiggling the teeth free. I explained again that is why it was an emergency, the two baby teeth were not loose yet. I was again told that January was the soonest appointment, maybe the teeth would fall out by then. Going down the list I called Plaza Dental 4 Kids on Keene Street. When I explained what was going on, they brought my daughter in within 2 hours. She ended up needing 2 teeth immediately removed. Not only did they get us in and out in 1.5 hours with a surgical procedure, my daughter had no idea the teeth were even pulled until we got home and I showed her. If you read this and take my advice, Dr. Dharti was our Doctor and she was amazing. I do not know how you advertise patient care first and deny a child needing minor surgery.

Our son had to have extensive dental work done in the Columbia office and the entire staff was amazing, understanding and compassionate! Made our experience there so easy and great!!

This place is a nightmare. My son had his 2 front teeth knocked out at school 3 years ago. We went here, he had surgery, then they billed us. We explained legally, under the age of 5 in the state of MO for major trauma this was covered under health insurance. Their manager at the time told me it was my responsibility to work it out with insurance, even though we provided the insurance. I spoke with Dr. Scott who said she would take care of the bill and we would not get bill again. Here we are....3 years later getting ANOTHER bill. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TAKING YOUR KIDS HERE. Please go on other pages and read reviews. They have a history of not calling patients back, taking weeks to return calls, and horrible billing procedures.

Our daughter was terrified of the idea of going to the dentist before we started coming to Columbia Dentistry for Children. What a cool experience they offer to children. I wish they would have had this when I was a kid.

Office can be challenging to find because there is construction nearby and not much signage. But the office is great, waiting room has good toys and kids shows on TV. Dr. Coyle is amazing with kids, even those with special needs. And kids get to pick prizes at the end!

Dr. Scott has been great working with both my daughters. She is caring, kind and great with kids (and worried moms :)

The team Columbia dentistry for children is great. The Nurses are nice and my son who is normally skiddish around new people took up with them very quickly.
