My daughter recently had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Lynn and he did an amazing job! His OS assistant Hanah did an amazing job explaining post-op instructions and assisting me with my daughter out to the car. Thank You both for all you do!

What a mess. Drove my mom who is in a wheel chair for her 3 p.m. appointment. We arrived at 3 and the person at the desk said your appointment was at 2:30 and you need to reschedule. I told her it was scheduled for 3 and please talk to the doctor you can see my mom is in a wheel chair and we drove 45 minutes to your office. She stepped out for a moment and came back saying doctor said no. I once again said the appointment was 3 p.m. She said let me see your reminder text. I said we never received one. She checked her computer and asked if the number she had was correct. The contact number was inputted wrong when the appointment was made. If you can not even enter basic information correctly, what else can go wrong. Obviously we will take our business elsewhere.

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed at Apex Oral Surgery in Columbia, MD and I recommend this office very highly. Both of my kids will also be having their wisdom teeth removed here. From my consultation appointment to the day of my surgery to my recovery, everyone in this office was polite, knowledgeable, and made me feel extremely safe and comfortable. My surgery was painless and my post op has been fantastic - no discomfort whatsoever. The office staff, dental assistants, and Dr. Trevann Lyn were extremely professional and took great care of me. If you are like me and afraid of dentists, Dr. Trevann Lyn is the person to see. Outstanding surgeon.

I highly recommend Apex Oral Dental. The staff is very friendly, caring, patient and professional. The environment is very peaceful and clean. I was really nervous about getting 3 wisdom teeth extracted. They made me feel so comfortable. I was able to relax and get the procedure done in less that ten minutes with ease. They are Awesome!!

I NEVER EVER expected that I would be the focal point for all of the doctors that came together to perform the major surgery that I received as they worked together with precise precisIon. I was scared and nervous because I was not sure of what to expect but after speaking with them before the procedure started, they explained everything that was going to happen and a PEACE came over me as I listened to them strategize and discuss each step. Oh my goodness..I was so afraid. It was Hannah for me. She made me feel so comfortable. The Dentist (Trayvann Lynn) extracted my broken tooth before I knew it.Zero pain. I highly recommend of you are afraid of dentist.Whole staff is amazing..but that Hannah is a keeper.

I had a really awful experience here a few months ago--I was in the worst mouth pain of my life and had an emergency referral to Muul. He and his team were super courteous over the phone but, soon as I got there, I got a really weird vibe whenever he would show up around the rest of the team. Everyone would always go quiet and do that fake-laugh at his comments until he left, then theyd all seem super relaxed.Meeting Muul, he took some scans, looked into my mouth, and immediately began shaming me for my teeth. I tried to explain that as a child, I was in a neglectful household and was never taken to the doctor, let alone a dentist, but he spoke over me, continued berating me and essentially blamed -me- for my complicated teeth. Being separated from this incident by a few months, I know nothing is my fault and this boy--and I say boy because I have -never- seen an adult act this misbehaved--was probably faced with a tough challenge but didnt know how to say he couldnt take it on. So he lashed out.I read all the negative reviews here and I second each and every last one. This boy will respond to all the negative ones, even, so talk about insecure.If youre a woman, I recommend bringing a guy along because this boy will mansplain you to the moon, talk over you, berate you, etc. I wish I had an option that day I was in my emergency situation--the first DDS I visited seemed really hesitant to send me to APEX but we had no choice. I ran out of that office as soon as I could, sat on pain meds until I found an oral surgeon that acted like a nice man! My new surgeon understood my painful childhood background, didnt blame me for a second, and completed a complex oral surgery because he knew he had the expertise to do so. If you have the option, I fully recommend you see Joseph Arzadon--APEX should -not- be serving people!!

My daughter just had all four of her wisdom teeth removed. As most know this is never an enjoyable experience. But, Dr. Lin and his staff were superb! Everyone was personable with her, explained each step thoroughly and provided great comfort to my daughter as I was bound to the car waiting due to COVID restrictions. My daughter boasted about how the young lady that personally attended to her held her hand and even massaged it to ensure that she was relaxed. Thank you to Dr. Lin and his staff not just for a professional experience but for just being great humans!

I had an appointment at 1:00 p.m. I was not seen until 1:52 p.m. Throughout the duration of me having to wait to be seen, I asked how much longer it would be so I would know about how much time I would have left to go to work and make sure I get there on time. As I walked to the front desk Dr. lyn was just on his phone texting. Once I was finally seen after waiting an hour (I got there well before 1:00p.m.) I called my mother since they told me she could not come in during this time due to COVID-19 but did not say I was not allowed to call her when I made this initial appointment. Dr. lyn walked in and told me that I need to hang up the call. I explained to him that it was my mother and I needed her to hear his opinions about my broken tooth so she could give me advice on the best thing to do just to stay on the safe side, mom’s always know best (I’m only 19!!) He then further said “I will not treat you today” in the rudest tone I’ve never heard come from a dentist let alone an oral surgeon and he walked out without an explanation. I waited over an hour for this appointment and now I’m going to have to wait at least another month to get an appointment elsewhere (I waited over a month for this appointment) to get my broken wisdom tooth removed which causes me pain! This was completely unprofessional and a waste of my time. I would’ve gave zero stars but that wasn’t even an option.

Was greeted when we walked in. Waiting room and bathroom was immaculate. Quick procedure and they did well explaining after care instructions. Impressed.

Stay far away. They are scammers and will bill you for times more than your insurance would have paid!!!!

Dr. Muul and his staff are all very friendly and encouraging during the consult and surgical processes. Dr. Muul was patient with questions. During the surgery both Dr. Muul and his assistant were encouraging and tried to make it as quick as possible. The facilities are very clean and inviting. Would highly recommend Dr. Muul and his staff at Apex!!!

I am 51 years old, and I had two wisdom teeth (one under the gum and one that was already erupted but causing problems) removed yesterday by Dr. Michael Muul at Apex Oral Surgery in Columbia, Maryland. I am a huge chicken with a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental work, and I have to tell you that I highly recommend him and his team for doing the work skillfully, professionally and with comfort in mind.I am a repeat customer. In 2011, I broke my tooth eating pizza crust (painful). My regular dentist saw on the X-ray that the tooth broke down to the root, so she recommend Dr. Muul for an extraction. Thats how we met. As it was an emergency, he fit me in right away and made this patient, who was extremely anxious and scared, as you imagine, very comfortable.So when I found out recently that I needed to have my two wisdom teeth removed, I returned to Dr. Muul, who had done such a wonderful job before. Once again, with my two teeth extractions yesterday, he did a superb job. His office relocated to Oak Hall Lane. The staff is professional and the decor is soothing, a beautiful design.Dr. Muul is a very skilled surgeon and very patient. He answered all of my questions and explained the procedure. I was given a panoramic X-ray, which showed up on the monitor, so he could see my teeth and the surrounding bone structures in my skull.I had my teeth removed with gas and local injection. I have to stress again that I was very, very comfortable and didnt feel pain since I was completely numb. Before they started, they put a numbing gel on my gums before giving me the injection so I didnt even feel the shot. After the procedure was done, I was given the aftercare instruction sheet, which he and his staff went over in detail, answering my questions. I was able to get my medication there at the office, so that I could go straight home without stopping at the pharmacy.Later that evening, Dr. Muul himself called me at home to check on me and make sure I was fine and if I had questions on the aftercare. I was not expecting the call. Its clear that he cares about his patients. That was a very nice touch. If I have to have any more tooth surgery in the future, I would return to him again without hesitation and highly recommend him and his staff to others.

Dr Muul is excellent! He conducted the consultation and extraction within an hour. His bedside manner is professional and personable. He called me personally that evening to check on my condition. His skills are exemplary. I had little to no pain following my extraction and his recommendations for follow-up care were simple and practical. He and his staff made what was a fearful undertaking for me a calm and agreeable experience.

Dr. Muul and his staff are absolutely amazing. Dr. Muul explained every procedure before performing them and he made me feel very comfortable with the bone graft and implant procedures. Each procedure was pretty quick and only slightly painful. He called me in the evening after my appointments to check up on me.The staff is extremely friendly and made each visit very welcoming. Scheduling with them was a breeze and they were very helpful.

I couldnt have asked for a better oral surgeon. Dr Mull had me seen in a prompt manner, removed all four of my wisdom teeth at once, and had me on the road to a speedy recovery in no time. He has a wonderful bedside manner, and is amazing at what he does. Anyone looking for an amazing oral surgeon should see him.

My daughter was looking forward to having her wisdom teeth removed because she would be put to sleep. However, I had to find a different location due to the an administrative manner that doesnt make sense.My daughter has dual insurance. For 12 years, her dads insurance has been listed as primary because his birthday predates mine. That was never a problem until I visited this office. The office called both insurance companies, and neither one of them knew about each other. As a result, both insurances were listed as primary. I was told to contact my insurance to let them know they were secondary. They refused to schedule an appointment for the extraction until the insurance issue was being resolved.When I asked Why is this a problem now? I received a response that other offices dont catch things like we do. This doesnt make any sense. What is the harm of having two insurance companies listed as primary? If a company receives an over payment, the company should issue a refund. As an Accounts Payable Manager for a large healthcare organization in MD, I know this is a common practice. Where is the real harm?Following the offices suggestion, I requested my insurance company to make themselves secondary for my daughter. After exchanging a few e-mails, I was told it cannot be done because there is no custody agreement in place. It is not my place to call her dads insurance and request the change.I really liked Dr Muul. It is sad that we cannot make an appointment due to administrative matters that many other offices were able to muddle through themselves.

Fantastic experience in the office of Dr. Michael Muul Oral Surgeon. I had a tooth extracted and it was an efficient procedure (I was under the influence of Nitrous Oxide -- laughing gas.. It was great). I didnt wait too long. The rooms were clean and simple. The waiting area was very open and peaceful and a had an odd theme to it. Staff was very courteous and patient and understanding. Dr. Muul is awesome and has a way of making you feel special as he asked me questions about my family and I and he ACTUALLY CARED AND LISTENED!!, yet gets you out the office in a very reasonable time frame. The parking lot of the office is NEVER full and always has plenty of space to park and most are shaded spots. 1 request. Get the radio (ambient noise ) in the lobby and procedure rooms to be advertisement free -- get rid of the commercials.

This was not my best experience with an oral surgeon. The dental assistant was excellent and gave me the information I needed to feel comfortable. Dr Muul was harried and matter of fact (a little rude). He could not medicate me to numb my gums. The laughing gas did nothing. I have had tooth extractions before and did not experience this problem. After a second try. He told me I needed to be put to sleep for an additional cost of $495.00.

They had me in and out so fast, my brain didnt even have time to process that I was having 4 wisdom teeth yanked. The office is clean, staff is great. I didnt see much of the actual surgeon because they put me under so quickly but I assume he did a great job because I havent had any issues since the extraction and it healed well.

The staff here is great. I had to have a tooth pulled as well as a Frenectomy and the process was seamless. The dentist and his assistant made me feel very comfortable during the procedure. I would recommend their service.

I have had many horrible experiences with dentists and not all the reviews I looked at were positive so I was pretty nervous but I cant complain. Only wish my insurance had covered the care. The staff was pleasant and courteous. Dr Muul was competent and caring and quick.

They were in network, gave me a next day appointment, medications were filled on site, (who feels like going to the pharmacy after dental work?!) professional, caring & thorough. I had to have a tooth extracted and was sent to Dr. Muul by my dentist and although I had some anxiety, the staff at Dr Muuls office was fantastic! From the time I walked in to the time I left, I felt like I was in good care. There was no wait time on the morning of my appointment. Dr Muul explained the procedure so I understood completely. Throughout the procedure and even after it was done, there was no pain. I would very highly recommend Dr Muul and his staff in the future!

Needed four wisdom tooth pulled. I went to so many other dentist office that refused me telling me my extraction was too difficult for them or they couldnt do it. I was referred to Dr. Muul said to be the best and honestly he is. Heres why:So after getting consultation and xrays done which was also quick and easy. I had all four wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Muul. I was nervous of course, but honestly once Dr. Muul walked in his demeanor just calmed me down immediately. It was totally painless and quick felt like seconds. I would suggest to opt for the medication there for after the procedure is done instead of using a pharmacy just to alleviete any pain right away seeing how some pharmacies can take quite awhile to fill prescriptions.Anyways Absolute best experience ever in this dental office. Dr. Muul is the best at what he does and truly cares. He even called me to check on me to make sure everything was okay and give aftercare instructions. The receptionist and assistant was great also. I will never go anywhere else for dental work and will be referring anyone whos looking for an experienced, caring, quick, painless, and just all around great surgeon/dental office which im sure is everyone.

Recently needed a cracked tooth extracted. I have had pain in the past with these type or operations due to deep nerves. Was tense and prepared for the worst. Tooth was extracted with zero pain and bone graft installed. Dr. Muul was like a masterful spider weaving his web as I was stitched up.Even several days later had no pain and healed up perfectly. Office staff Professional as well.

Dr. Muul is very professional and takes his time answering questions in a calm, patient way.If youre looking for someone that will be honest, straight to the point, and give you a quick and painless procedure, then Dr. Muul is your guy!I had all my wisdom teeth removed years ago. I was worried, and it was over before I knew it started.Since then, Ive gone back twice for growths on my gums. For my most recent visit, the growth was much bigger than before and I really thought it was going to be a terrible procedure.Dr. Muul explained everything that was going to happen. He could tell that I was nervous and said he was going to test the novocaine. But, literally 2 minutes later, it was all done. He gave me an Rx for a one week supply of pain medication, but it was done so well, that I hardly felt a thing even when the novocaine wore off and the days afterward. I never had any complications at all and it healed as if nothing had ever been there.When I returned for a final check-up and care instructions, at my request, he also looked at my x-rays from a new dentist I had gone to and gave me a second opinion on the need for a nightguard. Although he does sell nightguards, he said my dentist should be able to do it, but if they could not, he would be able to help.I strongly endorse Dr. Muul!

Dr. Muul had an oral appliance to treat my apnea made that changed my life. My AHI dropped to a 2. I can actually function again. A million times better than a CPAP. Thanks Dr. Muul!
