I am seeking help for my daughter and starting searching counselors online to review them and find out who might be best to help her. I found Elizabeths name and went to her website. Sounded like she had experience in what my daughter is dealing with and I saw a tab to request a 15 minute phone consultation so I signed up. The day and time for the appointment came and I realized I had received no email or instructions on whether I called or she called me. I called and had to leave a phone message. Around five minutes later I get a phone call from Elizabeth. She first tells me that they do not do phone consultations anymore but since I happened to find it on their website so they would honor that. I found this odd as if she decided shed call me, why tell me all of this? I started to tell her about my daughter and we started into a conversation. Then she yawned on the phone. Not a small yawn but a full yawn where it worked up, paused and then the exhale of the yawn came. She did not apologize at all nor did she even hide this. Just right in the phone. I was in shock and was not sure if that was her telling me that my daughters situation bored her or if that was her way to not take a client she was not interested in. Either way I found it extremely unprofessional and would never entertain the idea of her sitting with my daughter. Very disappointed. In a time where I am emotional and trying to find someone to help my child, she clearly did not give me any feeling that she had any compassion at all.

Elizabeth is responsive and handles things quickly and precisely. She is genuine and insightful. She is great to work with.

Elizabeth wasnt afraid to let me be real and be real with me but also wasnt heavy-handed in her approach. I think she is great at helping people sit with uncomfortable feelings. She helped me know that everything is a process and was an excellent guide! I appreciate the time I spent with her.

This was by far the best experience I have had! Ive had horrible counseling sessions in the past which left me skeptical of ALL counselors. I was hesitant about meeting with EAP. At our meeting Elizabeth was warm, kind, and attentive. This appointment was about ME, and she listened (unlike others i had in the past). She allowed me to express myself without criticism. We laughed, I almost cried at times due to circumstances in life. Thru it all, she LISTENED. Doesnt get better than that!
