Ive been going to Living Wellness Chiropractic for 4 months now and it has relieved my severe neck and back pain. The corrective care treatment provides a better long term quality of life. I first visited Living Wellness Chiropractic of Columbia in Nov 2020 with severe pain on my arm. At that time, I was unable to work due to this severe pain on my arm. After I recd two treatments, this severe pain disappeared. This was amazing experience for me. So far I have been treated for about six months and my body condition has changed and improved tremendously. All of staff is very kind and knows how to treat their patients. I came into Dr. Derr’s office for lower back pain (I’m mid treatment now). Within the time thus far, I’ve noticed several improvements - most that I didn’t anticipate. First, I was pretty surprised to see how affected my neck was from bad posture. Since starting therapy, I’ve not had a single headache. My back has been improving having gone from stabbing pain to just a feeling of tight muscles. My experience here has always been very positive. The staff are very accommodating and always willing to help with any concerns.The providers took time to address the pains I was having in my lower back as well as explain thoroughly the root cause of the issues. The training and exercises to help with correcting the issues that I could also continue in my leisure were also very helpful, coupled with the sessions to help address the overall posture issues I had experienced. Came back to leave a review. I moved and no longer am able to come here, but my experience was always excellent. I remember my first appointment was impromptu because I sneezed and threw my back out and couldnt stand up or breathe well. I frantically found living wellness Dr. Wayne and the team helped me with pain, my postures, and an exercise program to strengthen my body and be preventative, instead of just kicking the can and becoming a lifetime patient.My treatment started frequent and then decreased to preventative/maintenance. I went quite some time without a readjustment after I moved just working with my excercises and he even gave me some help finding a new chiropractor with carryover techniques like they do here when I was leaving so I wouldnt have to start over.The chiro team feels more like family and I really did not want to leave. I do wish the adjustments were private, but thats actually not really necessary and wouldnt deter me from coming back. The treatments and education behind everything is A1.They do make u pay in advance for your treatment program which was disheartening at first, but I was in so much pain they couldve told me a hundred thousand dollars and Id have written a check ! LolAll in all, it was worth every dollar spent.

These guys are amazing. Scoliosis runs in my family so Ive always had back problems, Living wellness is better than any other chiropractor that Ive been to, and Ive been to a few. Before I came in, I was having trouble exercising, my back would ache at the end if every workday, even cooking was hard because of the time standing. Living wellness will help you feel better long after your appointments and in some cases get you to where you wont need to come in anymore. The staff is really good about remembering clients names, especially Ryan and Aurelia who Im sure see close to 100 people a day.

Little over a yeard ago I started with left side lower back and left leg pain. Severe enough I couldnt sleep.Nothing I took for the pain would help.Went to doctor who prescribed 2 different medications that did nothing for what was determined Sciatica.Got to the point it was hard to function at workHad an mri done and met with a surgeon.He didnt recommend surgery at this point.Pain was unbearable.Went on line and and found Living Wellness near me.Called made an appointment they took me right away. I had all but given up on pain relief for my back but Living Wellness showed me I was just previously with a bad chiropractor. While my last doc got me in and out quickly and suggested correcting my posture; the traction exercises at LW have made me more aware of my body. For sure not a pop-and-go shop. The team is fully committed to a holistic spinal health regiment. Full package, multi-visit, corrective therapy seems their commitment and focus. We were completely impressed with the assessment and recommended multi modal program. Cheap? No. But really should it be for corrective non-intrusive chiropractic care. If you want an adjustment aka temporary relief maybe this isnt the place. Not sure where the staff gets their happy pills - authentic, pleasant, professional caring group. Kudos on the people skills. Dr. WAYNE is experienced, knowledgeable, very communicative in a step-by-step manner. Hoping we are as impressed throughout the corrective care program.

Went to living wellness to tend to a severely sore lower back due to some aging issues. The staff and the doctor were friendly, warm and very informative on the spine, leading back problems and ways to correct my back issue. The exercises were creative and the adjustments felt great. Not only did they correct my back problems but helped me sleep better. If you have back problems dont hesitate to come here. They will fix your back.

I’ve been to several chiropractic centers and this is definitely the best. My x-rays show a back and neck in perfect alignment; that wasn’t the case when I first arrived here. It’s all due to these procedures and care. I come in once a month for maintenance and that’s all I need to live totally free of back, neck, and shoulder pain and discomfort.

I’ve been going to Living Wellness for treatment since March and I feel a million times better than I did when I first stepped in their office for a consultation. Neck pain and headaches are rare now, compared to the daily pain I felt when I first walked in the door. My back pain has also decreased significantly and they’ve provided the tools for me to stay on that track even after I’m done with treatments altogether. I’ve been experiencing chronic nerve pain for years, and I’ve seen every medical speciality except for chiropractic...and so I gave this place a shot.Living Wellness Chiropractic (LWC) has been my first experience with chiropractic, and I must say that I’m left underwhelmed (and in more pain than I came with). With that said, I’ve found another chiropractic practice and this second experience has been much better.Let’s start with the personnel. The chiropractor at LWC, Dr Wayne, is nice enough. I didn’t have any bad interactions with him, though I do question his approach to chiropractic care. More on this later.The Dr’s tech assistant, Ryan, is very amicable and seems to take pleasure in what he does. Unfortunately, he’s the only assistant there which is one of the reasons I decided to look for another practice.Arelia(?) is the front desk receptionist and she’s good at what she does.Cody is the office manager, and he’s also amicable. So overall, the people at the practice are fine.The problem I have is with the type and execution of treatment. The best way I can describe this practice (after experiencing one of higher quality) is that it’s the “fast food” of chiropractic.The office is usually packed with bodies, to the point that it’s hard to get around without bumping into another patient. Lots of waiting for the limited traction stations too.Speaking of tractions, the ones they had me on felt like injuries waiting to happen. One of them was the culprit for my previously non-existent neck pain. This was due to improper positioning, which occurred because there were too many patients for Ryan to take the time to ensure everything was where it should be...which is unacceptable.I didn’t get the sense that Dr Wayne cares for the patients’ well-being. Everything seemed extremely transactional, and whenever I’d tell him that something felt off or that I was having pain in places I didn’t before, his answer would be “well, I guess things are moving”. That’s not an acceptable answer for me, especially when I’ve been through 17 sessions already. My expectation is that after that many sessions, you should start feeling better and not be in more pain than you came with. The only time he seemed to care about my pain was when he got the sense I didn’t want to continue with treatment.Another thing that got me upset and should have been a red flag, is that they sold me a bunch of items that I honestly didn’t need. This included a back brace (of which I told them I didn’t need, but they charged me anyway), a foam block to put under the neck, a tens unit and some bio freeze. These were all generic items that they sell to every patient, and the sense I got is that they make a profit off selling you this stuff.I’m the end, this is my experience with LWC. Just because it didn’t work for me, doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. The place is always packed, so they must be doing something right.

Everyone was very friendly, this is my first chiropractor visit in 13 years. While in waiting room a good happened to be there at the same time. She told me she had been coming for three months, and thought everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. I sat with Truvaughn and he explained what a healthy spine versus unhealthy. He listen while I listed the history of what led me to my visit that day. And he offered advice to more healthier lifestyle. I never felt rushed, later x rays were taken and quickly I was given a diagnosis, and booked another appointment for a consultation. I look forward to having my life back to normal.

I went to this place after looking at their glowing reviews. The first time they had me in for a diagnostic Xray and suggested a 40 session treatment plan, after explaining why it was absolutely necessary that I get treated for my lower back issue.The guy who signed me up(Dustin) was quite pushy and said it would be a great deal for me to pay the entire amount in full to take benefit of the discount they offer for full payment. Also that they are still going to work with my insurance company, and if they get it reimbursed they would refund me the difference or I could use it towards further treatment, as I choose.They followup so much even if you are a few mins late for the appointment or if you reschedule a session, which I thought was good, but later when I had concerns regarding billing matters the responsiveness had disappeared and I had to try and escalate matters before I got proper attention. You start to see how rude the staff(cody) can get once you have a concern with billing.After my 40 sessions were complete, they did another set of X-rays. Dr. Wayne mentioned my back was almost fine with a few adjustments that could improve it further, and if I wanted I could go for an additional 20 sessions which was not absolutely necessary.When one of the admin staff Cody asked me to sign up for the next 20 sessions by paying another 2k, I asked since my insurance had reimbursed for 20 sessions, that they use the funds towards next adjustment sessions, but they completely flipped on their words. He even denied saying my insurance only covered 5 sessions. But the next time when I took all the paperwork from BCBS, they said they cannot refund what the insurance paid them and that I need to shell another 2k for my next 20 sessions. They saw their discrepancy and even sent a manipulated adjustment to the insurance company in the following days, so I cannot complain with the my healthcare provider. I was double charged. I felt very betrayed.They tried and twisted the numbers and words. They are money minded and that is why they push you for an entire set of sessions.They could have taken some X-rays at midpoint to see how I was progressing and change the treatment course accordingly, instead of suggesting additional 20 sessions at the end. Although the treatment was somewhat ok, the kind of stress that the billing department caused and the false statements to sign you up is very unsatisfactory, Its a shame cause they have lost the trust of a client. I have been to several PTs and chiro practitioners, but this is a disappointing experience I had. I wish they had the same integrity they portray when they sign you up.

I called Living Wellness in tremendous pain and they were so accommodating to my needs. I got a same day appointment within 1 hour of calling. Dr Wayne is amazingIf you are willing to put in the time, work, and money to restore your spine alignment and movement, this is the place to go.Im wrapping up my initial 40 visit regimen (3x weekly). These visits took about an hour each, consisting of warm-up exercises, an adjustment and two twelve minute traction sessions where I would sit or stand with a device pushing and pulling parts of my spine, to train my body back into proper alignment.Why is this torture worth it? Because Dr Wayne is super-attentive and available. He quickly but carefully examines each patient during adjustments which are always spot-on. Everything is done out in the open, which is helpful because I overhear Dr Wayne fielding a variety of questions from other patients, to which he provides detailed helpful advice - much of it applying to my situation as well.A series of X-rays was used to plot my spinal alignment before and near the end of this regimen. It showed improvement, especially in my neck, but my lower back which has chronically bothered me for 15 years, is still far from the optimal curve - so Ive been prescribed another 25 visits (2-3x weekly) to be followed by once-monthly maintenance.

If you are looking to seriously correct your pain and spine this is definitely the place to go to! I came in with my lower back completely thrown out, almost unable to walk and could hardly bend. Dr. Harry had me walking normally without pain immediately. I know that I have lost a lot of curve in my lumbar spine, so I know I have to continue treatment so this doesnt happen again. This office practices Chiropractic Biophysics, and in my opinion it is FAR SUPERIOR to other forms of chiropractic because they are not just adjusting you and your out the door. They are actually restoring the respective curves to the spine so your spine is functioning optimally. With the biophysics, there is a huge difference in how I feel and how my body holds the adjustments compared to other chiropractors Ive been to.Dr. Rachel has also worked her magic on me and is also fantastic! I love this office and would recommend it to absolutely everyone! The entire staff is great and I appreciate the way they educate me on chiropractic. Im very grateful and appreciative of this office!

Dr. Rachel and Dr. Harry are very knowledgeable and helpful. Priscilla and Ryan always greet you when you walk in for your appointment. They have eliminated my shoulder and back pain. Its great to see my neck, back and hips alined where they should be. They have definitely helped me get my body back on track.

I have been going to Living wellness since October of 2017. Everyday was a struggle at work, at home to move because of constant pain especially lower back. I started going here about three months ago. I was in all kinds of pain my back, neck and shoulders. I noticed a difference in two weeks with my back, shoulders and neck. The doctors are very good and friendly. They will work with you when it comes to paying. The entire staff is wonderful and always smililng.
