I went here to take my DOT physical. I called to set an appointment and was able to get in right away. The office was accommodating and comfortable. Much nicer than going to a regular doctors office in my opinion. The service was quick, easy, and exactly what I needed. I was in and out quickly and the price for the physical was good in comparison to a few other places I checked. I would definitely recommend getting your physical here if that is what you need.

Dr Hanft , from the very beginning, has been extremely approachable with my concerns and my questions regarding my spinal adjustments. This was only the 2nd or 3rd time I had been to a chiropractor...not out of fear of discomfort, I just dont really go. I received fast, friendly service, and some good information. I also wasnt pressured to be put on a treatment plan, but instead was encouraged to come in when I felt the need to do so. Dr. Hanft also gave me some good advice for my blood pressure and what conversation to have with my doctor about it. Very pleased with the overall experience. I will be going back!

I found Dr. Hanft after visiting several other Chiropractors. The other offices seemed more interested in collecting my money than they were in helping me recover. I visited two separate Chiropractic offices in which the payment for treatment was well over $1500 and they expected a one time payment. I received a notification from the state of MO that my DOT physical had expired the previous day. I had a load booked for the next day. At 4:30 that day I scheduled a 7:30 am appointment for the next day. They were prompt, professional and reasonable. I got my medical examiners certificate and had time to take it to the DMV and still had plenty of time to go load and continue on my run as planned. I would definitely recommend them.

Very impressed with this service. The most personalized visits Ive ever had at a chiropractors office. When evaluating my case he reviewed all the options and tweaked the sessions on the results from prior visits. All steps were explained in detail and non-medical terms. Went in about a month ago with lower back pain, after vising with Dr. Hanft it was not only back pain it was in my hips. for the first few weeks I was being seen ones a week and then the pain got better and I was able to move to a couple of weeks and if I needed to go back it was easy to make a appointment. I was in excruciating pain all throughout my back. I had never seen a chiropractor before, and was very nervous to go to one. I called the office and they penciled me in just a few hours from then.When I arrived, the front desk was kind, and Dr. Hanft came out in just a few minutes. Dr Hanft is a great chiropractor. My latest visit to him was prior to a race I was competing in and I knew going into this event my hip was a little off. He got me in on a Friday and his adjustment had me feeling right on for the event.I have been to quite a few chiropractors and what I like about Dr Hanft is he is straight forward, thorough and does adjustments that leave me feeling noticeably better. With Dr Hanft I have never felt like I am being upsold on additional services or treatments. He is thorough in each visit. I have had other experiences where you are asked if anything is bothering you and if you would answer your ankle the only adjustment performed was the ankle. Jason performs a full analysis even if you identify that your visit may be for a specific pain. Finally the work he does leaves me feeling noticeably better. As a runner you tend to pick up tweaks. I found that when I start noticing these indicators and schedule an appointment I am able to return to using better form and believe I am able to avoid some of the injuries that I previously had which were the reason I went to him in the first place.

Crying uncontrollably with chest pain one day after my two mile walk and having been assured by a heart doc that it wasnt heart related (75 years old), I researched chiropractic docs. Dr. Hanft passed my skeptical test and after one visit I found relief. He sat me on planned scheduled visits which have alleviated my pain completely. I was in severe pain, barely able to walk from a misaligned hip. I called all the Chiropractors in my network and none of them could see me for at least 5 days. Dr. Hanft was able to get me in that day! Sure, I had to pay a lttle more, but to be honest, it was worth it. I am a busy college student who was helping paint a deck and injured myself in the process, leaving me with a bad limp. I saw multiple doctors and tried many medications however nothing worked, and then I came here. After the just the first visit I was up and walking around feeling good as new. I was having pain in my left hip and knee and numbness and tingling in my toes. I couldnt sleep at night because when I layed down the pain was more intense. I recognized my symptoms as nerve pain coming from my back. I also had a lot of pain between my shoulder blades and a kink in my neck. I reviewed all of my treatment choices and chose to see a chiropractor over injections or possibly surgery. I began reading reviews and found that Dr Hanft had very many great reviews. Also some of the reviews were from friends and co-workers that I trust. So I chose Dr Hanft and it has proven to be a great choice. Within the first few treatments my pain was relieved and my toes were awake. Now after a few weeks, not only can I sleep through the night, but can even lay on my left side. Dr Hanft is also working on my neck and mid- back with great improvement as well. He is very patient and kind. He is honest and straightforward. I plan to continue see Dr Hanft to maintain my back health even after my current problems are cured.

Last year my wife had started running and training for a Disney marathon where she would be running a full marathon, half, 10k, and 5k all within a 4 day period. In doing so, she had developed pain in her hips and lower back which made it painful to sit down in a chair or even sit in a car. Her job requires her to travel a lot so she was really not doing well. I have known Dr. Hanft for several years now through a networking group and while I have never had need of any chiropractic work, I knew he would not take advantage of the situation and treat for something that he couldnt really help. With much reluctance, my wife (who also had never been to a chiropractor) went in to see him but she wanted me to go too because she was nervous. It ended up being pretty cool because I was able to see what was done and how it was accomplished. Once there, he asked her some basic questions and felt around on her spine and back and assessed what the issue was. Then he asked her some more questions to determine the best way that SHE would like to be adjusted as he has several different methods which he can use on a person. Those adjustments vary depending on if the person is nervous and would like small gentle adjustments, or if they prefer larger and more aggressive adjustments. Choosing the more gentle style because she was nervous, he proceeded to adjust her, mainly in the hips and lower back areas. He did not just try to pop her back left and right like I was expecting but he adjusted different areas, and on some of them only adjusted one direction to get her spine and joints lined up properly. I believe she had to go back once or twice to get things all worked out but within a week or so, she was back to normal and training again as well--with no pain. I dont know what it could have cost if we had seen a specialist or surgeon or but I cant imagine it being anywhere near as affordable as it was with Dr. Hanft! Neither my wife nor I have any hesitations going back if we ever need it. It was absolutely excellent treatment through the whole process and neither of us are skeptical about the benefits of chiropractic any longer!

My first visit to Dr. Hanfts was for him to assess my capability in job performance after being cleared for work due to surgery. He was very thorough and engaging when seeing if I could handle daily strain that my job entailed. I have since returned to Dr. Hanft with a rib injury that I suffered while performing a daily task I was fairly used to. Because of convenience and treatment in no time, I see him regularly for simple adjustments. Every time I am greeted and seated, but not long before Dr. Hanft sees me and gets me in for an assessment. He has pinpointed my pain fairly quickly and has me adjusted in no time. He is very prompt in getting my follow-up visits schedule and correspond with me to remind me. I am definitely able to walk out of his office in better shape than I arrived and back to normal within a few days every time.

This was my first experience with a Chiropractor. I was experiencing lower back pain, and neck pain with numbness to my arm. I was getting ready to call my neurosurgeon but decided to call Dr. Hanft instead. It was the best decision I ever made. After the first several treatments I had already felt relief and after several weeks I was doing great. Let me start by saying, before visiting Dr. Hanft I have never been to a chiropractor in my life. I injured my back at work one day and I spent the weekend in excruciating pain. I could barely walk or stand up straight. My wife is a physical therapist and even she told me I had to go see someone. So i called up Dr Hanft and he was able to see me that day! It only took one appointment and I have been fine ever since. I appreciate how he explains everything he does for you. I didnt just feel yanked around. I knew what he was doing and why he was doing it. I also have heard stories about other chiropractors that all they want is to sell you on X-rays and long term programs. That is just not Dr. Hanft. While I was there I felt that his #1 concern was getting me back to normal. which he did. If you are thinking about seeing a chiropractor you have got to go see Dr. Hanft!

Dr. Hanft is outstanding. My daughter is a high level competitive athlete who had been struggling with a hamstring problem for over a year. She had been to M.Ds and Physical Therapists for well over 12 months and followed all of their treatment recommendations, with no results. She would feel better for a short time and then experience another setback.Besides being frustrating, the treatments from the MDs and PTs were very expensive. It was getting so bad that we prepared to shut her down for a few months per the recommendations of her health care providers.We took her to Dr. Hanft (who besides being a great doctor is also a really good guy) and he asked her a few questions. He then put her on the exam table, and in 30 seconds said One leg is almost an inch shorter than the other. He made an adjustment and, like magic, the pain dissipated. He then did an ultrasound treatment which helped even more. After 4 or 5 more treatment sessions, the hamstring problem disappeared. He solved the problem in a month when no one else could solve the problem in over a year. Thank you Dr. Hanft!

Dr. Hanft is awesome. As the owner of Tiger Carpet Care, occasionally I have to fill in for one of my techs or help on a large account. I get stiffness in my neck and back from time to time. I had tried 2 other well known, established chiropractors in town. Both were more interested in getting me set up on a program of several visits than trying to actually help me. Neither of the the previous doctors ever adjusted my neck even when I specifically said it was hurting. Im not a doctor of course so I assumed they knew what they were doing. After months of no improvemnt, I decided to just live with it. Then I met Jason. He actually sat me down, looked at me face to face, and LISTENED. He told me what he was going to do and why. Dr. Hanft puts my kids at ease whenever we visit for an adjustment. He communicates directly with them and involves them in each step of care. No matter what alignment may be causing discomfort for us, his corrections bring immediate relief. My kids function better in school and with peers after theyve been treated, and even seem to have more sensitive empathy when they are aligned. Dr. Hanfts care has brought me relief from headaches or back/hip discomfort, and I notice I can even breathe better after a visit. Our family relies on his care throughout the year!

I have been seeing Dr Hanft for a couple of years now, and he hands down, has the best customer service! I had recently had surgery and was having some back issues resulting from it. Since I was unable to travel, Dr Hanft spoke with me several times on the phone and suggested things I could do to get me moving again and into his office. It was nice when I had a problem I had him helping me every step of the way.I have recommended him several times and will continue to do so.

I started going to Dr Hanft over a year ago. I was having a lot of neck pain with stiffness and headaches. He was able to gradually get me out of constant pain while explaining what created my problem. I still continue to see him on an as needed schedule. It is apparent that no one can take away my degenerative disease , however he is a master at making adjustments to keep me from having to live in pain. I highly recommend him and those I have recommended his treatment are happy with him, as well.

Had a major problem with my neck/back and he got me in quickly, took his time and got me straightened out in a couple visits. Was very professional, answered all my questions, and made suggestions for what I could do at home. Forget places like tiger (where I used to go) and go to this guy!

Having a job where I set at a desk most of the day, I have a lot of stress that builds up in my neck, back and hips. After an adjustment, I feel so much better. I only wish Dr. Hanfts hours were a little more convenient during the week, but that would be my only complaint.

In October 2012, I was in a pretty bad car accident that left me with significant back and neck pain. After seeing a chiropractor at a booth at a local fair, I decided to try out chiropracty. The first place I went was extremely pushy and only deepened my skepticism of chiropractic care as a whole. Then I met Dr. Hanft on recommendation from a family friend. He is the opposite of what you might think of when you hear the word chiropractor. He asked me what my goals were and worked with me to fulfill them without adding superfluous visits. He was professional, positive, and compassionate, did not over-promise, and has a wonderfully equipped facility. My whole family has visited him and received occasional adjustments. He has helped us with both serious acute pain as well as chronic pain associated with our busy lifestyle as researcher, veterinarian, and parents of a newborn. We will not hesitate to go in the future if/when need arises.

I have a CDL license and am required to have a physical annually. I have high blood pressure and high anxiety when I have to go to the doctor. Dr. Hanft is very understanding of my condition. I have had chronic neck issues for years and was referred to work with Dr. Hanft for chiropractic care about 5 years ago. He has made suggestions such as exercises and a chiropractic pillow that have been very helpful. He is friendly and professional and takes the time to get to know his patients. He is realistic about the benefits and use of chiropractic care and stays up to date on recent research and information that are important to providing effective, knowledgeable care. I also really appreciate his flexibility in scheduling appointments and his willingness to meet with me at times that are convenient to me. He is a great doctor and person!

Dr. Hanft is awesome! A couple of years ago and decided it was time to loose weight which of course meant I had to start exercising and living a healthier lifestyle. If it wasnt for Dr. Hanft, the pain exercise caused me may have lead me to just give up. But he helped me get through it and achieve my goals!

I came in with pretty bad hip pain - to the point where I was limping. My hip pain is now pretty much gone and I am back to doing the things I love. Dr. Hanft is great - its a no pressure environment, he doesnt demand you follow a certain visit protocol and will help you figure out what is right for you. I wont go anywhere else in Columbia.

I have had lots of trouble finding a chiropractor that could get my body to adjust so I could get relief. Dr. Hanft worked with me on different techniques and maneuvers so he could get movement in my neck and back. I feel so light when I leave his office, I can finally stand up straight.In addition, I am a designer, working on a computer all day long, and have had a lot of wrist and elbow pain. When I first went to Dr. Hanft I was in so much pain I couldnt sit down. After several treatments I was a LOT better. Whenever I need an adjustment, even on his day off, Dr. Hanft will see me. He is the greatest!!

Ive been going to Dr. Hanft for quite some time. I dont even remember what brought me in the first time but Im sure it was some sort of pain or stiffness. Ive learned over the years that tending to that right away is best and then I never get really sore. Dr. Hanft helps me stay all tuned up when Im just a bit stiff or sore without trying to get me to do some long term thing where I have to come 10 visits or every week or something. I really appreciate that about him. Hes easy to schedule and get in with and its never a long drawn out process to just go to the chiropractor - which I also appreciate!

This was my first visit to a chiropractor and Dr. Hanft was extremely helpful, took time to listen to my concerns and explained thoroughly what I could expect from the treatment. I have been going to Dr. H. for as long as he has been in this office. I have always had bad headaches. Dr. Hanft has corrected this problem and I come in for maintenance every few weeks. Now I rarely have headaches. I appreciate that he is willing to change my appt if necessary. A bonus-his office if close to the school where I teach and he is a really nice guy.

We love Dr Hanft! Almost my entire family sees him. Hes clear, concise, and not pushy or overbearing.I went for a low back ache. I hadnt been to a chiropractor before and so was skeptical when he said Id walk out feeling like a million bucks. But, I walked out of there feeling amazing! I my back didnt hurt at all.3 of my kids have gone to him for various things and he never pressures or sets up any kind of a long, tedious treatment plan. Dr Hanft has made an incredible difference in my life. Before finding him I had been to 3 other chiropractors in town and they were all poor experiences in their own way. My pain is in my very low back due to an auto injury where I was hit head on. I had mostly given up on chiropractic care as none of he ones I had been to were able to address my lower back, I drove past his office and decided to stop in and see if he could just pop my lower back, I was very impressed that he could! I work a job where I sit all day, and feel my back pain all the time. After working with Dr. Hanft, i was able to move my body much more freely and my pain was significantly easier to tolerate throughout the day. I have been able to exercise without extreme pain for the first time in years, Dr. Hanft is by far the best Chiropractor Ive been to by far and has helped me with other health issues by offering advice and referring my to other specialist for other health issues I have. Hie is the only Chiropractor I would recommend to anyone in need of treatment.

My 15 year old son plays both baseball and football. He has been plagued by lower back pain for awhile despite the things we would try. A family friend suggested visiting Dr. Hanft to see if he could provide relief. We were very skeptical but Dr, Hanft has an incredible way of explaining the benefits of Chiropractic care. He also spent a great deal of time showing us what issues our son had with his back and what he could do to relieve his pain. Dr. Hanft did just that! Our son is no longer in pain and looks forward to his monthly visits to keep his back feeling great!!

I cant say enough good about this practice and this doctor. I have neck, back and hip issues frequently. My neck issues usually result in headaches that are very unpleasant and affect daily life. After a treatment and 15-30 minutes they are gone. Hes even helped me with a previously broken wrist with little range of motion - now its almost fully back to normal. I appreciate his work, care and direct talks. Hes very much appreciated in my book!

I highly encourage anyone to use Hanft Family Chiropractic as their chiropractor in Columbia. Dr. Hanfts adjusting skills are excellent, as he does not go too heavy and I always walk out feeling way better than when I went in. I have been to other chiropractors and they are either too heavy or too light, and Ive just come to appreciate Dr. Hanfts style of adjusting as being a perfect fit for me. If youre thinking of visiting a chiropractor, I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Hanft and Hanft Family Chiropractic.

Im giving a 5 star for multiple reasons not just a specific thing. First of all nice, clean, friendly environment. Second, dr.hanft explained everything he was going to before he did the procedure. That one might be a set standard but I really appreciate him explaining what was gonna happen. He performed the process on me and I felt a huge relief. And third he explained (with a prop) how my spine looked before and after. He explained all the parts I needed to kno that involved my case. He didnt try to push products or extra services I didnt need. This was my first visit and I already feel a million times better. I will be a forever Hanft Family Chiropractic customer/patient.
