Radiation oncologists Dr.Joel and Dr. Mike and the entire staff are just fantastic people. Always patient, always kind and give you all of their time you need.

For the best treatment, do not allow these doctors to be your primary oncologists. The center itself is fine at executing radiation, but the Doctors treatment of my dieing father was unethical at best. He was diagnosed with stage 4 renal cell carcinoma in late October and referred to Vanderbilt for primary treatment. He could not get an appointment there until 6 weeks later. Rather than level with him about his condition (fatal, he died in January) the doctors strung him along insuring they could treat his cancer and give him a few good months. It is my belief they were too cowardly to tell him that treatment would do little to help his condition and were hoping the doctor in Vanderbilt would give him the bad news. He never made it to that appointment as his condition was too serious at that point.I could write a book of concrete examples of their poor treatment of my poor Dad. One such example was he was sent back for a radiation treatment on a tumor in his spine. Just before they were going to turn on the machine one of the aides (a nurse?) Stopped the process and went to confirm the levels of radiation about to be given. The doctor present (not the one who wrote the order) stopped the process and lessened the radiation level. The nurse said they have NEVER given anyone that level of radiation EVER.Again I could write a book about this, then only reason I say anything is in hopes someone seeking treatment here will go to a more skilled physician. The Doctors here did nothing but make a difficult situation of dealing with a fatal disease more difficult and caused my father and family more pain (emotionally and physically) than necessary.

I feel blessed to have such a caring and professional. staff at MRCC. I can truly say that each member of their team works together to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.

I bring my friend here every day for treatment. You couldnt ask for a nicer place. Its clean and everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. They really go out of their way to take care of their patients.

The doctors and nurses here are nothing short of excellent. Very caring and compassionate.
