Jonathon and Donna are the best!! If you are looking for a salon that lets you be you and just have a fun time this is the salon for you. Not to mention their great professional stylist! Donna does great with color and cutting and styling! Love this place and Love them! Super affordable as well and very informative on hair care/ getting a routine.

Jonathan is absolutely amazing. I had been trying to find someone to make my hair platinum blonde all over and he not only did it, but worked with me and my crazy schedule, went above and beyond for me and my hair and educated me on the process. His customer service is out of this world and his work is magic! He is a delight and a breath of fresh air! He is very professional and the first stylist I’ve been to that doesn’t put other stylists down or act like he’s better than everyone in the industry. I recommend him to any and everyone.

I went to Jonathan at his last salon on a recommendation from a friend. Since he opened his own salon, I followed him and I will never use anyone else!! I have honestly never been so happy with the transformation of my hair and there is no way I would ever willingly lose the treasure of his great company and truly natural skill. I live a couple of cities over and never mind the distance. He makes you feel welcome, like family, and the entire experience is so enjoyable. I used to have a lot of anxiety getting my hair done. My hair just never quite turned out like I envisioned and would go home feeling a little disappointed. That is until I went to J. Phillipe. I went in with a picture and walked out feeling amazing. He took his time with me and answered any and all questions I had. I think he knew I was worried but yet he calmed my fears and made me feel at ease. Jonathan is very knowledgeable and excellent at coloring, cutting and styling hair. He charged me $385.00 not including the tip, told me to come back to finish up and its going to be another $85.00 my hair was a complete disaster. I called to have him fix it and he told me he was sick and couldnt do it. High price for unfinished business. He completely missed my hair up.

I had my first facial at J Phillipe salon with David and now I’m addicted. I’m an avid spa-goer and I often get massages and nails, but always overlook facials. After my facial with David, I would now rather get a facial with him than a massage if I had to pick on or the other! I recommend trying a facial here 10/10!! The room was clean, calming, relaxing, and super zen. David made sure I was comfy and the spa bed was heated, but David was able to adjust the temperature to make sure I was comfortable. I also noticed the bed was longer and wider than most massage beds - providing extra comfort for a big woman!! I didn’t have any of that awkward “where do I put my hands” moment because it was so comfy! David was professional and used gloves. His knowledge of skin and skin care is amazing and I had a few questions to ask him about my skin. Ok, more than a few. David knew what my skin needed and customized the facial to fit my dry, sensitive skin. One thing I especially loved is he knew how and what to check on me to make sure I was comfortable so I’d have to avoid that awkward asking moment . My skin was so thirsty for this and when I was done, I couldn’t even sit up straight on the table because I was so relaxed. This was the best day ever!!! Go see David and see for yourself!!

Transformation Thursday! When viewing Jonathans Instagram I knew immediately he was able to provide the service and care.I have fine hair and its damaged. Not only did Jonathan make the color of my hair look amazing but healthy! We also opted for a healthier version of extensions to help my hair get healthy and look amazing today! He truly exceeded my expectations. I left on a wet and rainy day feeling amazing and confident.

So I have entrusted Phillipe with my hair for well over a year now. When people see me one of the first things you see is my hair so I wanted my hair to be at its best and Phillipe has mastered it. I used to have the mop hair but I trusted him to transform my look and he did not disappoint. I drive from Charleston once a month or so just to have him work his magic. The salon itself is so chic and beautiful. I would recommend him to ANYONE. Even the faint at heart. I was that one person who said I’d never get my hair cut short. Phillipe changed that and I am absolutely in love with what he has done and him. Give him a chance to change your appearance and you will fall in love.

I don’t have enough words to describe how excited I am about how my hair turned out thanks to Jonathan at J Phillipe Salon!!! I have NEVER been fully satisfied leaving the salon chair and my hair NEVER comes out looking like the picture. I have dark hair and the putting color in it is tricky. I wanted a blender ash blonde and went to a salon in NYC first. It was a mess. Then I went to a salon in Houston. Also not the right shade. THEN Jonathan fixed it and wow. I am now considering traveling 1,000 miles to come see this stylist every few months for this hair color. Jonathan was courteous and professional and took time to make sure my hair was right. He did so many things that my other stylists didn’t do and his skill level and technique is amazing. I am shocked he’s not in LA charging $1k an hour because that’s the type of work this stylist is capable of. He had to fix my dark hair that went from brown to orange to yellow to more yellow and the end result speaks for itself. Jonathan was kind but fun he explained the things I wanted to know and answered all my questions. Would recommend 10/10. I even stayed longer and got a facial next store with David and I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Not only was I satisfied with my hair beyond expectation, that facial was more relaxing than a massage!! Would 10/10 recommend this salon to anyone and EVERYONE.
