Sphinx Paw is literally part bookstore, part boutique, part art museum! The store is amazing and has a holistic and almost spiritual ambience. Brother Sekou is very cordial, courteous, and knowledgeable in wide range of areas.

The energy is lovely. The owner, Seku, is very friendly and knowledgeable, a pillar of the community. Excellent for natural medicinal supplies, crystals and stones, beautiful hand-made gifts, and more. I highly recommend this store to anyone.

I’ll be honest. I am very picky about where I get my sage from or anything spiritual idk. It’s hard to explain anyways. I couldn’t find a place that I felt comfortable in my spirit with buying sage. A friend recommended this store. Of course I looked it up and read the reviews I saw where a girl had a horrible experience. It kind of made me hesitant....but left with no choices I decided to go. I really am happy I did. There was a young man my age who was kind and an older man who was very knowledgeable. They were making fresh sage when I came in 😁. Definitely will be going back. And they sell books!!!!! Was having a horrible week but the store made me cheer up and I got a book I’ve been dying to read!

Unfortunate 1st time Experience ... The 3 stars are for ambiance. So, I was introduced to sphinx paw by a friend who knows that i like holistic oils and such...While the ambiance was aromatic and inviting...my overall experience was unpleasant. I wanted to purchase some oils and sage and asked about those things and i was questioned by the seller; borderline interrogated about why i wanted these did i know how to use them etc... and constantly corrected on my lifestyle without him even knowing my life..I was only gracious bcuz of my mutual friend...But he continued to make a bunch of assumptions and gave a bunch of unsolicited advice... I now feel the items i did purchase are tainted... I cant use them and wont...Subsequently I was not pleased w the customer service and will not return to this establishment.The seller basically reaffirmed for me the egotystical male dominant nonsense that so many of our women experience and become Prey to....Chile Bye!

Been coming here since a teen and each time I make it a mission to buy something. This is my one stop shop for neem toothpaste. I would just recommend having a better means of communication for lectures and classes. Its some amazing teachers that come to this location, but you wouldnt know unless you happen to be in the shop..
