I’ve been waiting for an appeal from social security for almost 9 months, I understand it can take longer but no updates no call backs and each time I call there’s always confusion and different case managers that don’t seem to care. First they said it would take 4-6 months faster because some are working from home…?? and now it’s almost a year, I’ve been waiting for a call back for 3 months and nothing. I feel like they don’t care about my case. And very disappointed. So now I’m calling social security myself for answers since they don’t want to help me with me case.

They were very efficient, Patient, and thorough, and seemed to be very interested in righting this terrible injustice that besets so many of the physically sick, lame, and mentally exhausted. The people Ive spoken to have been very professional but also very kind not to robotic or annoyed like some Ive spoken to in their position. The process of signing and the terms were simple and honest and agreeable not so legal that you need a friend or paralegal to put into laymans terms. I called for the very first time to see if I could apply for assistance with SSI and was assisted by Wally who was very patient and very thorough with my information. I was very pleased with the way he handled everything.

I opened up a case for my son when he was 4… my son is now 12! We went to court git denied 2 times. I haven’t heard back from them in years. Not only did I change my address and they sent all my sons personal information to my old address (social security and all) after 6 months but Mr Latour himself said he would handle the case himself never did by the way. It’s poor service very unreliable court hearings were so unprofessional and the lawyer never knew my sons case very well. It’s been frustrating and they didn’t help.

Ive been calling and calling the Dr.Bill LaTour customer service line and can not seem to ever get a live represenative. I never get a call back after leaving several msg. I just want an update or I can move forward. This whole waiting with no communication is driving me insane and holding me back from starting moving forward. Please look at those reviews before making the mistake of using Bill LaTour as your representation. We have been unable to get a hold of them even though we are calling 5+ times a day. My sisters hearing is tomorrow and they are completely missing in action. This business is absolutely scamming disabled people.Please do not use the Law Offices of Bill LaTour! Do not use this attorney. In the 2 years. I used bill la tour his office never called me to update me. I mostly dealt with social security myself. Never spoke with attorney. Just paper pushers. No advice, nonupdatesa. Never returned calls. My case was closed for 7 months and was sent a email that I needed to fill out my limitations and my case was still pending. I called Nd his assistant said they still to. A couple of more things. Social security sent a letter they where holding $5000.00 for him and then that call. He is a scammer. DO NoT get him as a as your attorney. .plus didnt even send a close letter or a thank u for taking money he didnt earn.

Have been trying to contact this office for 3 months and last time I talked to someone in July 2021 the girl that answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional. I can never leave messages because the voicemail is always full. This office has done nothing to help. Would not recommend this office to anyone.

Most notably Yesenia has gone above and beyond in helping clarify the various forms and was very patient and understanding throughout the whole process spending nearly 2 hours on the phone assisting me. I called unsure if I could even qualify. The assistant that spoke with me wasn’t near as scary as I thought they would be. This office never did anything to help. The lawyer never called to introduce herself. For the hearing. She never said a word in the hearing. I knew this hearing was very poor. Went to the appeal council. For review . That was very poor.the lawyer from day one did not have all of my files. During the hearshe did not have the files that the ajl asked for.I would not recommend this lawyer to no one. Also when you have questions you always spoke to a social worker. And they would call back in 2. Days very poor service.

After 2 years and denials because they didn’t send the paperwork the judge asked for at the hearing they want to dump me over a voicemail.. the denial letter said that the judges would consider reopening the case if paperwork was submitted, but instead they want to file a council appeal and they denied but reevaluating my case they can’t help me…. Wasted 2 years…. Never talked to a lawyer on the office girls…. Beyond upset

I know there are only on-line appts here right now, but if youre trying to get approved for Social Security Disability and have been denied several times, this is the best person to take your case! Dr Bill is honest and wont take your case if he doesnt think he can win it. But as a medical doctor and an attorney, he is the best in this area; my husband had been denied 3 times and Dr Bill got him approved!!

When applying for SSI or Disability you absolutely need a lawyer - just choose someone else. After struggling with Depression and crippling Anxiety for years I finally tried applying for SSI. The process is long and confusing and Social Security does a lot of things to purposefully complicate the process. At first the folks at this law office did great - were responsive and helpful with explaining the process. I got as far as a hearing in front of a judge. But when I went in for my hearing I realized my lawyer was completely unprepared. They hadnt gotten in touch with the clinic and therapist that I had been seeing twice a week for over a year. In the past 6 months had been officially diagnosed with severe cPTSD. My lawyer had none of this information and instead brought dated info from one of my worst therapists, who said I was OCD - which Im not and never have been. OCD wasnt ever mentioned even with that therapist so Im positive she probably got me confused with another patient when giving this info to my lawyer. That part isnt my lawyers fault. But completely failing to get current info on my treatment was.I was denied. Even after trying to submit my more recent treatment info. Eventually the office said there was no more they could do and dropped me.Without the support of my immediate family, I wouldnt be here today. Be very careful when starting this whole process, its full of false hopes. Find another lawyer.

I regret going with this law firm. I was constantly chasing down people and never got returned phone calls. If I did it was a week later. I myself did most of the leg work. They were sure good at sending me letters saying basically dont call us well call you. I never spoke with an actual attorney, until 2 years later. I was scheduled for a hearing, and I was called the day before that the judge entered an on the record decision to approve my case. So my hearing was obviously canceled. The next day I finally get to talk to that lawyer. He calls saying he was gonna go over with me what would happen with the hearing. I interrupted him, and told him I was notified my case was approved. He tells me his office probably e-mailed him, but he had not checked his email. Now I have to give them part of my backpay for work they didnt do. Apply yourself people. Its no different and you will get 100% of your money.
