Got just what I wanted, In a polite timely manner, this is my go to firm from now on, Lenscrafters use to be the place, but after I found Americas best I havent been back since.

My husband and I had to return our glasses because after a few months of having them with the added protection on them they became all scratched up. We had insurance protection on both our glasses and took very good care of them. After 3 weeks of waiting for my new ones to come in, somehow they kept giving us a run around on my gusbands pair. First said theyd arrive one day then another day. After a month of waiting they finally told us they were shipped out to them. Called a week after to be told they couldnt find them. They were lost somewhere. Now they say they have to reorder them it will take 7-10 days. This will be our last visit to your store in colton. I dont recommend anyone to come here. Bad experience, bad customer service.

This was my first time visiting Americas Best Contacts & Eyeglasses. A friend recommended them to me and since my usual optometrist was closed due to the pandemic, I thought I would try it. I had a terrible experience and would not recommend them to my worst enemy. First they got my prescription wrong. When I received the glasses, the screws were loose on one pair. When I actually wore the glasses I noticed double vision at night (especially when driving). I called and explained to them what was going on and was told to give it a couple of weeks to get used to. After the two weeks passed I called them again and they set up another eye exam. The prescription was the same result. I still couldnt see at night. I got a second opinion and when I went to get a refund from Americas Best, they told me the return policy was only 30 days! They gave me the run around for a month so that they wouldnt have to refund me. Horrible business practices! I filed several complaints with different agencies and I would never do business with this company again. Save yourself the trouble and find a real optometrist! This place sells cheap glasses and an incompetent staff.

Ive been a customer with Americas Best for over 10 years. Every year I go in and buy 2 pairs of glasses with all the enhancements. Generally, I pay $700+. This year my glasses were damaged so I was going to have them replaced by the one year warranty. 4 weeks after ordering the replacement I still had not heard anything. I called. They apologized. The order was lost. They reordered the replacement. 2 weeks later they called and told me they couldnt replace the glasses since they were out of warranty. This was 9 months into the one year warranty. I took my receipt into the store to show it was still under warranty. They then told me I had to have a new eye exam.This is not the way to do business. Be aware. This is not the way you will want to be treated.

I felt very welcomed at this store the associates greeted me and helped me as soon as it walked in the door. The Dr. was very personable and made me feel comfortable. They were also covid safe during the whole process. 10/10 would recommend this store.

Ive been dealing with this place for going on 2 years. The first 2 exams were great. I was able to get trial contacts to chose the the color I thought would look good on me. I left there both times very satisfied. But this time around I got the new kid who took way longer than expected. Could not provide me with any trails in any of the colors I pick. So I ended up picking the ones he said would look more realistic on me. Having said that... When I finally got the lenses and put them on, I absolutely hated them from first glance. They were way too dark. No one could even tell the difference. $310.98 wasted. Now, I just want to cry.

Everyone was so friendly as soon as i walked in the door the staff was greating me. The doctor was very nice and helpful.

I have never been so pleased with a visit to an optometrist! The staff is friendly, professional and courteous. The office is bright and clean. My eye exam was thoroughly explained to me and I did not feel rushed. The optometrist was very knowledgeable and explained the photos of my eyes and a couple of slight concerns. She also asked if I had any questions. I chose my glasses and the cost was much less than I anticipated! I was also referred to an Ophthalmologist for a glaucoma evaluation. I tried to make an appointment with an Ophthalmologist but was told I needed prior authorization and a referral from Optometrist. I called Americas Best to see if they could fax the referral for me and was pleasantly assured that it would be taken care of. I will definitely be staying with Americas Best in Colton for all my vision needs!

This place is the worst. My personal eyeglasses frame was lost and they had to call and ask me to describe it. When I asked if they lost it the subject was changed. The icing on the cake was when I went to pick up my glasses and a pair of sunglasses I ordered they reversed the prescription and put my sun glass lenses in my reading glasses and my reading glasses lens in my sunglasses. When asked how the situation was going to be rectified. I was told it was going to take another 10-14 business days. Well we are on business day 25 and no glasses. When i called to inquire the only response I got to my questions was Ms. I am just the receptionist here so I dont know what to tell you. This place is unprofessional and a ripoff.

I went this morning with my prescription all I need was to look at the glass frames. I waited for a total of 2 hours and was never helped. When I acknowledged the wait they said they were busy. I dont understand what was the hold if I didnt need to see a doctor. Everyone else was helped except me. I ended up leaving because I had to go to work. 2 Hours of wait for no reason.

Went here about a year ago. Staff was really friendly, however...I was asked for my insurance information which was VSP. They advised me how much my insurance would cover. So after I purchased the glasses and paid whatever my portion was that insurance didnt cover, only to receive a bill a month or so later advising me to pay an additional amount. The glasses are very poor quality. I didnt even have my glasses for two months before the lenses started to peal off. Ive purchased several glasses from different places and have never experienced anything like it. So this isnt my first rodeo and I know how to care for the lenses. The lenses just started flaking off. Never going to this place again. Since my insurance only covers one pair of glasses a year I had to purchase new ones without insurance because it was nearly impossible to see with them on.

Overall American Best they got good quality eyeglasses but this is the second time I have to go back to get my glasses tightened up and then they charge my insurance and I paid $469 for mine and I paid out of pocket then charge my insurance and Im like okay dont I get a refund they say no and Im like they are rip off they are truly rip offHi

Took my dad today, they offered $69 for two pairs of glasses which include eye exam. After a process of 3 hours, they asked my dad to choose the frame and afterwards they came out with a cost of $538Big jump in price. Definitely, I will mention to all my family, friends and church members to stay away from this place.

Just terrible! Had appointment and watched others after me get waited on first while waiting until I,had to say something. Why get eye exams and not be able to get the prescription as ordered? If ordered bifocals by license doctor must mean there needed but for 99.00$ more you can get them! Never have I,ever been treated as if I, couldnt add 2+2. Employees didnt go to school or licensed to give eye exams but yet they do! Was speaking Spanish thinking that I,couldnt understand but I, surprised her by speaking that she should be trained in prices not just guess. So 111.00$ styles glasses look just like 66.96$ cheap! By the time everything was added from 70$ it came to 537.56$ scammers, taking advantage from good hard working folks tying to better themselves with sight! Americas Best! Need to change name! China,Best!

INCOMPETENT! I live two cities away and because of their lack of information and not just once but multiple times! They even gave my wife the wrong lenses and when we told them the lady read us exactly what we wanted it still came back wrong! Never will I be going here again lens crafters had way better service

This place is a JOKE!!! I went here a couple years ago and they got me in like they do everyone else. The cheap contact/eye glasses price. Dont be fooled. Because if you have an abnormal prescription or something complicated its going to cost you a fortune. I, like everyone else is in America have a busy schedule. It took me a few months after I did my eye exam to come back and fill my order. They told me I had to pay the $99 again to retake the eye exam. After an hour on the phone with corporate they said they could reuse my eye exam. The explanation was my prescription may of changed. Not likely!!! Then I paid $175 for 6 pairs contacts. Which I never picked up (yes dumb on my behalf) because by then I went to my usual eye doctor. Wasnt happy with the process or the cost of everything. Also they didnt take my insurance. If you can go somewhere else, go. You maybe asking why didnt you fill your order the day of the exam and thats a good question. It was because they were so busy at the time and I was in a hurry. They didnt have enough people to help me because they were helping others and I also remember something about my prescription as well. In all not some place I have much confidence in. How they got the name Americas Best is beyond me. The employees were friendly for the most part. Their doctor was ok???? In my 30 years of wearing eye glasses and contacts I had never felt more like a dollar sign than I did in this place.

Called ahead and asked if they take my VSP insurance. Was told that they did accept VSP insurance. I was discouraged from visiting the store at that time because it was just after 5:00 and they said that they were busy, I went anyway.When I Arrived I was asked for my information so they could check my insurance. I was told that my insurance only had partial coverage.Glasses are low grade and upgrades like scratch guard or transition lenses added about $70.00 for each upgrade. Frames were mostly of low quality.VSP later verified they have no contacts with Americas Best.The workers greeted me promptly and were friendly and helpful.

Worse place to buy glasses.False advertising,cheap and stuff very unprofessional always talking about their colleagues. I requested to speak to the manager and it took her a week and a half to call me back.Im going back to Costco.My last visit was today 09/04/19And Caroline was very nice , she fixed my glasses and she didnt have to because my warranty was expired. Im taking my y ugly comment back. I noticed tthat hey really improve their customer service.

After reading all the bad reviews I decided to still give them a shot. 😡 worst idea ever. I went in with my prescription just to simply order contacts, just two boxes and here we are 2 weeks after they were “suppose” to arrive and nothing apparently just my right eye box made it. I called them again to check if they have recieved the left eye and was told no, and that she would have to re order the box again now with the due date of Jan 19 ( 3 weeks of original arrival date) so If i would not had called would it of dawned on them that maybe they should be reordered?? Staff will quickly and easily drop the ball and ask for you to go to the dr. That gave u the prescription to give you another trial for the mean time🤨

The worst place I have ever been. Worker by name Brenda tried to make money on me. For $5 bag she counted it for $16, acting as crazy and silly several times, added not existing stuff into my receipt. I recommend not visit this place and be aware checking your receipt what for you pay.

Had several issues too long to go into detail but I will say one: Was initiating the visit with a young rep and as she was taking information I noticed she kept needing assistance (kept calling for help). This happened at least 4 times.... also overcharged and when we noticed they agreed to this....several things which tells myself and wife that the majority of these employees are very unprofessional and not caring and very young. Not to be against young folks but from what we experienced we will not be going back. Going to a normal old style eye Dr office. This new concept store doesnt work for us.

The staff was friendly but I did pay much more the published price that I plan on paying. The low prices that they advertise are just a lost leader. Most people are going to want that are glasses than the cheapest.

After going hear I will certainly not be going back. After my exam I choose 2 pairs of glasses, not $69.95. Got a call 2 wks later saying glasses were ready only to not be able to see from one at all. Returned 2 wks later still no improvement, was told wrong prescription got put in but was allowed to take 1st pair home. Paid for transition lenses, nope hours in the sun and no change. 7wks later and still NO glasses for me. Would never recommend!!!

I had to wait almost a month to receive my glasses and no one called me absolutely ridiculous I will not be returning.

My glasses frame broke in a little less than 3 months went to see if they could send out to be fixed only answer I was given is sorry you would have to purchase new frames No warranty on their frames. Calling my insurance Company first thing in the morning to report this to them. waste of time and over charge for cheaply made frames.

The eye doctor mixed up my prescription that was supposed to be the same as my last one mixed up the OD and OS axis and refused to give me a refund. Terrible service..try at your own risk

I just had one question to ask about prices for an eye exam for contacts, so I called, but was left on hold for over 30 minutes. Even leaving me on hold when the store closed for another 15 minutes. I wasnt left with a name or anything of who answered my call... Ill just be spending my money elsewhere.
