I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Baiza! He helped comfort and support me after my miscarriage and continued to support and treat me with the best of care throughout my second pregnancy to make sure my baby and I were both safe. He delivered my baby boy and made the experience something I’ll never forget. A cross country move is the only reason I will no longer be his patient. It’s going to be hard to find a doctor as great as him! The staff and his team are awesome too!

After my first pregnancy I knew that I could possibly go into early labor and upon meeting with Dr. Baiza I explained that I wanted to know what my options would be to prevent it from happening again. He asked me if my pregnancy was successful and I explained that it was after magnesium and bed rest and he stated that, because statistically bed rest did nothing to help prevent preterm labor and I was able to carry my child to term, no additional measures were needed. I asked if it were possible to place a cerclage which he again stated it wouldn’t be necessary. I was not happy with this since I was told with my prior pregnancy to advise the doctor of the issue I had before to help avoid them and was sure the only reason my first birth was successful is the doctors at that time acted fast and were able to stop my labor. I was concerned about what could go wrong for the rest of my labor. Needless to say the next few months were terrifying with every move and after constantly being told everything was fine and my concerns being brushed aside I decided I needed a new doctor. At this point Dr. Baiza stated he didn’t know I was that concerned and was sorry he didn’t take me seriously and wanted to help. He begged me for another chance and joked about not suing him. He put me on three different medications and from that time forward I never saw him again as he was always too busy. I went into early labor at 19 weeks and was told by a nurse that they couldn’t do anything to help, or stop labor and that if my baby was born they wouldn’t try to save it, because they couldn’t. One nurse said to me that I could use the restroom at any moment and the baby be born. They stated they didn’t think my pregnancy would last through the night so if I went home I would have to come back to be “cleaned up” so I stayed that night in the hospital terrified of moving. I made it through the night and was told I would speak with Baiza three days later. Never heard anything, but did speak with another female doctor who told me there were lots of things that should have been done to prevent this and make my pregnancy less stressful. Baiza went out of town on my delivery date as it was his “Anniversary”.The experience that I had with doctor Baiza has scared me and I still wish that not only did I follow through and go with a different doctor, but also that reported it sooner. Most people would immediately see the lack of care and move on, but I was hopeful I was wrong about him and I wish I spoke up sooner for those who have experienced his lack of care.

We have been blessed to have Dr Baiza deliver two of our boys and now he will be delivering our third. I love that he has a sense of humor and a personality which I feel is important especially through carrying and delivering. He makes you feel like you are friends just catching up even though it could be years. I couldn’t say enough great things about Dr. Baiza. He is the only doctor I will use.

Dr. Baiza is absolutely AMAZING! I had my baby boy in January and my labor and delivery experience went great! During my prenatal visits I was highly satisfied with my experience! He was always so informative and understanding. He is so funny and makes your appointments quick and easy! He explains what needs to be explained when needed and helps you when you need any help no matter what it is. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is pregnant or trying to get pregnant! Thank you Dr. Baiza for the great experience and for delivering my sweet baby boy! He’ll be my OB/GYN for my future pregnancies!

Dr. Baiza is an amazing doctor, who truly cares about his patients! I couldnt be more grateful to have found him for my first pregnancy back in 2013 - my labor was going fast and I had a 45min drive to get to the hospital, we called him when we left my house and he was there, ready, waiting for me in the hall. When I found out I was pregnant again in 2018, I was living 2 and a half hours away, we moved so that I could be closer to Dr. Baiza (I couldnt imagine going to a different doctor!)

Had a really great experience with Dr. Baiza. He was the first doctor to take my pain seriously and was able to provide more helpful information within the first 5 minutes than I’ve been able to gather from other medical professionals from the last 5 years. He made himself available and was extremely easy to talk to. Would highly recommend especially for women who are tired of hearing that their symptoms are “normal”.

Dr. Baiza goes above and beyond for his patients. It’s rare to find a doctor who really takes the time to have a conversation with you and get to the root of your problem. Thank you for making me feel heard and addressing my fertility issues with compassion!

Dr Baiza is great! His humor really helped ease my anxiety as this was my first pregnancy. Unfortunately I went into labor while he was out of town, but he made sure to come check on me when he returned Monday morning. No complaints here-both my husband and I looked forward to seeing him at each appointment.

HANDS DOWN the best doctor I could have asked for. Honestly, if it was within my finances, I would travel from Florida just to have Dr. Baiza again for any pregnancy/delivery. Hes PHENOMENAL.During my pregnancy (2017), I cracked a few of my ribs and even with that, my maternity, my visits, any interactions I had with the nurses/women in the office, the nurses that helped me during labor and thereafter... I had the best experience. The nurses in labor and delivery - I wish I could remember their names - they were ANGELS sent from heaven. Every single one. Everyone was professional and courteous and kind.Dr. Baiza calmed every single fear I had about my pregnancy and delivery. He isnt just a doctor, he truly cares for his patients and loves what he does. If I had to choose another doctor in the whole world to care for me during my pregnancy, I just couldnt.Amazing, amazing, amazing. I cannot say enough kind things about him and his practice. Absolutely the best.

Dr. Baiza is a wonderful doctor. He always takes time to answer any questions or concerns you may have. He is very easy to talk to and always has a smile on his face. I am so glad I picked him to be my Doctor. The office is very convenient as well - you can get your ultrasounds on the same floor and if you need extra lab tests its just down stairs. His staff is wonderful. I have had a great experience. I drive 30 minutes to his office and it is worth it.

I saw Dr. Baiza for a few years. I ended up needing surgery for some minor things. Not a have to surgery but just to help cause my husband and I were trying to get pregnant. I did not feel comfortable so before the surgery I made an appointment with him to cancel. He was very pushy about how I needed the surgery so he could free up my right fallopian tube so i would have both to work with. The morning of my surgery. I still felt the same way. I did not want the surgery. My mother, father and husband were with me and I had Dr Baiza pray with us. After my surgery I woke up screaming in pain. The nurse staff was very short with me because I was in so much pain I was screaming. When I went into recovery my mother came in and told me that Dr Baiza told her that my left tube wasnt connected. And that I couldnt get pregnant naturally. So they told me home. I grieved and cried all day in so much pain. I couldnt sit, lay down or lean back. I was in so much pain. My pain meds werent even touching the pain. By 5pm the next day I was running a fever and felt tremendous pressure in my lower abdomen. When my husband got home from work I begged him to take me to the bathroom there was so much pressure I felt like I had to push. When I sat down on the toilet I pushed and out plopped a cohen cannula tip. Which is a needle like piece, I suggest you look it up. It fell in the toilet. My husband rushed me to the hospital I sat for 5 hours waiting to be seen because the hospital staff wouldnt touch me. Someone from Dr. Baizas office had to. They did an xray and thank God there wasnt anymore instruments left inside me. I was hospitalized for 3 days for an infection. Dr Baiza was more worried about if I was going to sue him than he was about leaving something inside my body.

I randomly started having irregular cycles at 30. I had a friend highly recommend him after he figured out her complicated hormone issues. He was able to predict what I was about to tell him about my issues and tell me what was happening before I told him. He gave me several plans of actions and checked everything. I now know what is going on and have a plan and a solution. He was very knowledgeable and walked me through everything and explained everthing he was doing and why. I highly recommend him.

I couldnt be happier with Dr. Baiza! Hes been a wonderful doctor. He delivered our second daughter, healthy with no complications. He really takes the time to answer questions and makes you feel comfortable. He remembers things I said even a year later at my womans yearly visit. I appreciate how friendly he makes each visit despite how uncomfortable I usually feel around male docs. Hes actually a pretty funny guy. Im quite surprised by the negative comments some have mentioned. The front desk has nothing to do with him personally. Show up to your apt when you are asked to, be polite, and youd be pleased with how nice the staff is.

I had a very difficult pregnancy, birth, and everything all bundled up in it. I was high risk from the beginning all the way to delivery. Never once did I think I was in bad hands, or that he wasnt paying attention. The wait times were long but that is because he actually talks to his patients and doesnt make you feel like youre a fast food order. If I didnt move, I would deliver all my children with him

Meh I showed up around 24 weeks and he was nice and I never felt rushed and he was very warm and welcoming to my husband. As with everything if you want a natural birth be very firm with your desires as he did not always feel like he listened to what I would do during labor. With that said I went into labor the one weekend out of my pregnancy that he was unavailable Oops. Dr stark delivered my baby and he sucked. I will continue to use him for gnome care but am unsure if I will use him if I have another baby as I have heard terrible things about his bed side manner.

I have been a patient of Dr Baiza’s since 2008 and feel so grateful for that. Where other doctors had brushed me aside, he heard my complaints and was able to diagnose and treat a painful condition I had struggled with for several years. He also took great care of me with two pregnancies, including patiently addressing all my concerns and providing two c-sections. Due to cysts and endometriosis, I have had several laparoscopic surgeries with Dr Baiza. During this time I have always felt in good hands and been very happy with the outcomes. He is available when needed and on the rare occasion he is not, I have received very good care from the nurses and other doctors at AWHA. I have always found him professional and kind. Even when I am leary of a possible treatment, he is respectful and understanding of my preferences. Dr Baiza is one of those rare doctors that is both intellectually gifted and heart driven. I can sense genuine passion for what he does and can honestly say I feel his level of care has been above and beyond. I would not consider going anywhere else and I only wish he could be my “everything” doctor and not just gynecological. I cannot even list all the ways he has taken that extra step, the difference between good and great care, and the impact he has had on my life. He is a wonderful doctor and individual.

Dr Baiza was my ob for my second pregnancy. He is very knowledgable, sweet, funny, and makes you feel comfortable. Language wasnt a barrier as he also speaks Spanish and that was a plus with my husband. Unfortunately he did not deliver by daughter but made sure to meet her. His staff is amazing and love the care I have received so far as my gyn.

I was told my appointment was at 2:45 and to be there at 2:45. I showed up at 2:35 and was told that I was late and they refused to see me. This doctor should be sued for Malpractice. NEVER GO TO THIS DOCTOR, DO NOT TRUST HIM. He induces every one of his patients between 37-39 weeks and before, when there is no medical reason. He does not care for the patient, he just wants to rush things and get them over with. He tries to force babies to come and almost kills them and their mothers in the process.
