Very clean gym and great staff. Good gym for someone who likes to workout. But if youre looking for a serious lifting gym, look elsewhere. Missing some equipment for lifters. No 24 hour access and they dont open up until 5 am, way too late if you have to work in the morning. On top or that, you will be waiting outside well after 5 for them to open the door.

Usually not too crowded and is a nice place to get a pump in. There could be more equipment, for example there’s only 2 squat racks. Beats having a gym without any squat racks though.

I love my gym, its clean and comfortable and I feel at home here. With the help of my personal trainer, Sarah M. I have lost 32 lbs and have gone from a size 16 to a size 10 since March 2021!

Canceled my membership for another gym because its way too crowded at Crunch.If you want to cancel, be sure to do so 10 days in advance via email and to speak with either manager. They dont reply to the emails and wont cancel unless you speak with them directly as well.

I signed up for a membership and was told that if I cancelled my membership by 2/20 I would not be charged for the next month. I came back on 2/13 and after I worked out, I asked to cancel my membership. The woman working that day informed me that I had actually entered into a contract and that I had to pay for my membership until May 2022 or pay a $212 cancellation fee. If I had been informed about this I would have not signed up for a membership. I am assuming it was just an accident and maybe I was entered into the system incorrectly but I am not sure. Other than the membership issues, it is a nice place to work out. Plenty of cardio machines that seem to never get full. Only two squat racks so there is sometimes a weight. Plenty of equipment and a stretch area. Massive locker rooms/changing/bathrooms. The staff are so friendly!! When I signed up I had a lovely conversation with the two employees at the desk and the woman that helped me on my last day was very sweet as well. Hoping the membership issue is resolved because if it is they would easily have a 5-star review from me.Edit on 2/21:They have reached out (via phone call) and have resolved the issue by canceling my membership without the cancellation fee. Very polite on the phone but did not recognize the mishap.

They refused to cancel my membership for months after calling, emailing, and going in, in person. Took me about 5 months to actually cancel my membership. I was told I would recieve a refund for at least 2 months, which I never received. Not a terrible gym to work out, but a completely unethical and lying business. Wouldnt spend another penny at any crunch fitness.

I liked this gym a lot, I come here and workout daily BUT lately this location is not professional, Chelsea the manager, you ask for amenities they offer such as tanning or hydro massage and you get eyes rolled, attitude or make you stand there waiting for minutes to be helped. EVEN the cleaning lady of this place will disturb you from your work out and say you need to leave the studio because shes going to mop while shes having a phone conversation w her friends...unbelievable. I have NOT had this same issue at the north gym location.

Zumba is great. All instructors are great. Work out on some equipment. Available most of the morning hours.

Had an issue with my account, went into the club, and the manager took care of my complaint instantaneously. You always see the people behind the counter who are kinda just there, they dont care about that company, or the needs of the individuals who use their services or how well their job is done. It was nice to see this wasnt the case at Crunch Fitness!

I signed up for training sessions and when I was signing up they did not tell me that I would get a reoccurring charge for more sessions. Dont get me wrong I love my personal trainer and she is wonderful. When I tried to cancel I called and they said to send a email. So I did, but went to the wrong email. Then I tried again and they said it was to late. I ask what can be done because I have to feed my kid and pay my bills. They said nothing could be done. Now they say they will see if anything could be done, but they dont think it can be fix and doubt it will change anything.

Was a member gor 2yrs and also worked there. Typical gym crazy packed after 5 on weekdays. I usually was worked out in the morning between 5 and 7am decent crowd. Just needs more bench presses

Great for a small gym. It has all I need, and the staff is always nice. If youre looking for a more comprehensive gym with lots of amenities/classes, this isnt for you, but its perfect for me especially with how close I live and work to here.

Wasn’t even in a contract and they wouldn’t cancel my membership. I called and they said to email the manager, which I did, and I still got charged the next month. They then canceled over the phone when I called again, which they should have been able to do in the first place. Take your business somewhere with better management.

The gym was clean and the staff was friendly. Had very versatile equipment from boxing backs, regular racks, box jumps, med balls, ski pull, etc. staff was friendly and followed up with me on my experience. Good sized gym with a great range of weight for power lifters.

Avoid this gym at all costs.My husband and I both signed up for memberships about 6 months ago and all was well for a few weeks until we were CONTINUOUSLY charged random amounts with seemingly no reason why. Every time I have called they are unable to provide any explanation and I am unable to cancel my membership without paying several hundred dollars because apparently we signed a contract, lol. Additionally, I began refusing to pay it due to all of the random fees ranging from $50-150 and my membership was sent to collections while my husband was offered an opportunity to renew his membership and have all of the fees waived. This seemed too good to be true, and it was. He decided to switch to the $10 membership but we are still charged $22 a month. Additionally, we were charged a $110 fee for his renewal and what I’m guessing he used to owe even though we were told there wouldn’t be any fee to renew. Very displeased with this gym. Seems to be one giant scam.

Complete scam. Signed up and told them while signing up I would cancel after two months because I live in Texas and was visiting family for the summer. They said sure canceling is easy just give us a call. After calling them dozens of times throughout the summer (manager was never there) and emailing them to cancel my membership they refused to message me back. I didnt make much of it because it was only 20 bucks a month but then I got charged 70 dollars because of their once a year maintenance fee. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW WHY THEY WERE IGNORING ME. After calling my bank to block them THATs when they finally started emailing me back and calling me daily. Now they want me to pay double the amount because of late fees. Trust me just sign up anywhere else. ive been to TRU FIT and GOLDS GYM and they have never given me trouble canceling.

Nice machines, but theyve left me in the tanning booth twice now for more than 5 minutes naked waiting for them to turn it on, which they never did, even though they said they would.

Do not sign up with this gym! I I sent several emails canceling within the 10 business days and still have not recieved my money back! No response and no refund! I got a text asking what they can do to keep me. All I want is money back! I will be contacting the corporate office since they want to ignore my emails! Go to a better gym. Ive been paying a monthly fee now for 12 months on an account that is frozen. I am living out of state. They have no idea how to stop the autopay and I receive different responses with every call.

Should have less specialized machines and more universal stations (ie benches, cages). The mammoth cage in the middle filled with punching bags seems like more of an eyesore than a functional piece of gear. Its like 10x20 of the entire gym that is used by like 2 people at all times. Trying to get a bench however is harder than any other gym I have been to.

I really like working out at either one of the locations here in Colorado springs. They have one back in my hometown, and I wanted to try it out. I am glad I did.

Horrible gym, was charged twice a month for a membership that was cancelled. I received documentation that the membership was cancelled and still got charged for it for 6 months afterwards till I kept harassing them… NOW THEY ARE SPAMMING ME TO COME BACK!!! I’m receiving texts, calls, emails YOU ARE GARBAGE! No one should go to this cheap dungeon of a gym

Trash company! Buyer Beware! These guys charged me on my credit card for months and Ive never ever signed a contract with them or have heard of them until i saw them on my statement. Im not sure how they got my CC information. I am pursuing action with the BBB, credit company and then legally if not resolved that way.

UPDATE: Since this review, I havent been stopped nor have I seen others be stopped for a promotional sales pitch. Whether the review impacted that change or not, I appreciate the noticeable difference of being able to check in and get straight to my workout.I get theyre in a business to make money, but respect your members time. They stop members checking in to promote their protein stacks or get friends/family info to get new business. Im coming to the gym for me time. Im not shopping.Its not a bad gym, but trying to sell things everytime I check in shows lack of respect for my time. I workout on my lunch break so every minute youre trying to sell me is taking time away from my workout which is going to eventually take me away from this gym.This gym has potential. I hope it works toward that with respect for boundaries and desire to build a quality reputation.

The front desk representative named Dre is extremely rude, unprofessional, and lacks even the most basic customer service skills. Im surprised the manager here doesnt screen applicants for their ability to be at least modestly friendly in public. Hell only be nice when hes trying to get you sign up for a membership (since he gets a bonus for that), but after that hell treat you like youre an inconvenience any time you need anything whatsoever. Often hell purposely ignore waiting customers for minutes on end while he finishes chatting with his friends or other co-workers about personal topics.

Absolutely unsettling they way they run business. I had been charged for months with out knowledge. No email to let us know they would just begin charging our card ls again . Without stepping into the gym at all but paying for it. I wrote management and was told there was nothing they could do and they would not be reimbursing me . Money is tight enough without being robbed blind by your company!

Contacting the better business bureau and KKTV against this scam. Considering a class action lawsuit for sending threatening texts that have no merit. Happy I have the emails evidence that our contract ended years ago. Don’t go to this gym!

I was charged a membership fee on my credit card in July 2021 for a membership I could not use. I specifically told the employee not to charge my card. I had transportation issues and they ignored my wishes. I will report them to the BBB.

This is the first and only paid gym that I have attended that doesnt offer free WiFi. The staff is extremely anti social and their is not enough equipment. Find another alternative other than Crunch. You will thank me for warning you.

Terrible customer service. Gold’s sold my contract to them when they went out of business and the lady at Crunch aid they’d cancel, but I had to forfeit the two months they did charge. Fine, but they continued to charge me after that for 4 months and now I got a threatening letter about suing me for an outstanding $80. Trash.

The staff of this location does little to support the membership and keep the covid epidemic at bay. Approximately 80% of the members faithfully wear face coverings as directed by state government and as posted on the front door of the facility. The other 20% chooses to ignore the mandate and wear their face covering under the chin or in some cases not at all. This includes staff and trainers. I want to keep up my physical activity and using a gym is an integral part of maintaining my mobility and health. This gym is not doing their part to support the 80% that care.

Not happy what so ever! The front staff is a joke and seems to not know what’s going on and or don’t communicate.Was given a 7 day free pass card and was told on the first day that I was all set and good to go for the rest of the week.Came in day 2 and had all sorts of problems I didn’t have the first day and then didn’t honor the rest of my free pass.You would think if this wasn’t my fault, they would be nice enough to resolve the problem, but no...Was going to sign up for a membership but now they just lost a customer

This gym is lacking necessary equipment. 2 squat racks, 2 flat bench. They have oodles of cardio equipment so if you are looking for a cardio oriented place, this is your gym.

I sent an email like I was told, that I did not want to have anymore recurring monthly payments for personal training. I even called to make sure they knew I sent an email. They still took the money out of my account. The refund can take anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks.. I’ll be canceling my membership after this.. it’s disappointing.

We like it here at Crunch. Nobody bothers us, we get our workout in and we get out when we done. No hassel!!

I have never had an issue with this gym until today. I brought my mother as a guest to work out with me (I have the membership that allows that) When we arrived at the gym I was informed that I can’t bring a guest with me during this time because of capacity. My question is... Why am I paying the membership fee that allows a guest if I can’t utilize it? I should be charged the single membership fee. Then the woman at the front desk had the nerve to say... you can pay $15 for your mom to work out for the day. So if I pay you extra money on top of what I am already paying Capacity no longer matters? This place just wants to rip their members off. Ridiculous!

Do not enter into an agreement with this company. When it comes time to not renew your contract, the staff will avoid you like the PLAGUE! They have ignored my emails and my calls. I find it odd the manager of this location always seems to be busy with something else. I am now contemplating my next step of action. Calling corporate seems like a good option.

A great place to workout 💪

I have a membership for a few months now. The gym is always busy at peak hours. The tanning area isnt private. No door just a little area, which is uncomfortable, the area has two standing tanning both. Hydro massage is more private with a curtain. Which I love. No steam room or sauna. No pool or hot tube. They do have a circuit training area which is great. If you like cardio this is the place for you. They have plenty of Treadmills. The free weight and cable machine are cramped. Not a whole lot of space. The lock room is big. Little confusing at first. I wish they had a digital scale. The staff are kind, unless you have a billing issue then they take forever getting back with you. During the low peak of covid they gave me a tour, which was greatly appreciated.

As soon as I walked in Izzy was such a great help. She set me up right for my workout and made me fell super comfortable in a new environment. 10/10 recommend!

My membership was sold from Golds Gym to Crunch Fitness during Covid without any notification - I had to hear about it from the news. Prior to the gym opening I contacted Crunch Fitness 3 times and told them I did not authorized the transfer and I did not want the membership at their new and inconvenient location. They took money out of my bank account anyways and refuse to return it. I have sent multiple emails and phone calls to the District Manager Kristi Hayley and written to the corporate office all without any response. This is a poor way to handle members especially ones you are trying to recruit to your new location. I will never do business with them - they are unprofessional.

I joined this gym just over a month ago and attend at least 3 times a week. Realistically, I would rate this gym as a 3.5 out of 5 with my reasoning being as follows:Pros:- Usually not too crowded (at least when I am there) and if it is there are usually some machines/stations still open.- It might not be the biggest gym or have the biggest space but they do have a variety of machines and equipment.Cons:- The Terms and Conditions of the Contract could be explained better (especially the payment section) by the staff before and during the subscription process. In other words transparency and clear communication, so ask questions.> A bank account number is MANDATORY to sign up,> $78.95 is due at the moment of signing up (one time payment),> 1 month later you get charged the monthly subscription fee ($9.95,$19.95, $29.95),> 60 days later you get charged $49 (annual fee),> If you decide to cancel ONLY do it in person and 10 days before thescheduled date any payment is due otherwise they will still chargeyou.- The locker rooms could use a little better hygiene and maintenance. I always have to take a shower after my work out but during the month I have been a member, they have been out of gel/shampoo for the showers and have not restocked it. So bring your own shower gel/shampoo.- Getting a hold of management is very tough since they take forever to respond or dont respond at all.Other notes:- Bring your own towels if you plan to shower and your own lock for the locker- Overall it is not too bad of a gym especially if you get in do your thing and go. At the end of the day it is a gym not a spa or resort.

Only a three because of the lack of observance of mask. As an older athlete Ive accumulated some medical conditions I cant afford to catch this virus. I really wish they would take this more serious for patrons like myself. Its not just one or two, its quite a few that wear them on their chin and no consideration when around others.

My boyfriend and I joined here almost a year ago and were unknowingly put into a contract when signed up (which is the first issue). About 6 months later we moved out of state and were told we could cancel with no charge if we provided proof that we lived too far from any of their locations, which we did in person. Next month after we moved, we got charged again. I emailed to provide the proof of address paperwork just in case they didn’t scan it the first time and got no response. A month later we got charged AGAIN. Emailed AGAIN with no response. So I blocked payments through my card and this month they charged a card I’ve never filed with them, I must have used it for a bottle of water or a protein bar. And it’s for a bizarre amount, not even for the amount my membership is for. They won’t answer my calls or emails, they are purposefully ignoring me because they know I can’t come back to Colorado and bother them in person. I’ve been forced to hire a lawyer at this point, they are stealing money from cards they shouldn’t have access to. This is frankly a pathetic place, with all of their staff unknowledgeable about anything, even when I was happy to be going. We’ve had wallets and money stolen from us here as well and the staff just says “oh well”. Horrible place to belong to, pay the extra money to go to Golds down the street.

The gym is usually cramped it takes them forever to restock sanitation wipes and paper towels and if you have the 30 dollar membership they dont tell you cant bring guet until you bring one saying because of covidd shouldve said this beforehand if that was the case membership of that level shouldnt be offered until covvid is over feels like a waste

It has everything. Trainers that cater to your specific body type and needs. Classes for beginners through advanced. And every machine that is used in this modern day world now with a huge weight course for those who like weight lifting!

Last I was here (moved away) was early 2019.Fantastic gym setting with some great staff. Only concern I had was my friend is a combatives instructor for the army and they told him he couldn’t teach me anything because they offered classes in kick boxing so teaching off the books wasn’t allowed. That was a bummer.Other than that it is a great place. If you live off post and want a close gym I couldn’t recommend anywhere else.

I have no association with this place and never stepped foot in here! Yet my card was charged as if i have an account. I was told that golds gym transferred accounts when they filed for bankruptcy. I was never notified of this, and this is fraud!.. I dont want to have anything to do with this gym! Now i have to go through loopholes to fix this and they dont want to give the money back

Was triple charged prior to the annual fee. They wont let you cancel the membership. I called. Then emailed... then went in person... still charged monthly. Have recently started using this gym location. I is not cleaned daily, multiple machines have whipes laying next to them. Trash cans full, showers smell musty. Floor into the locker rooms have matted trash outside them. Really questioning my choice in membership. Gentleman in the morning, just stares at his phone and sits behind the desk. Wish there was a better alternative in the area.

My home gym. Great equipment, always clean and has some great benefits. Loses one star because there arent a ton of classes. Wish the classroom they do have was sound proofed more too.

I keep receiving spam mail now from them because Golds is closed. I am ready to get back to the gym but i will definitely look at others before and if i decide to go back to crunch. The class trainers were great, the scheduling wasnt. I hope they bring back more trainers to offer more classes and times.

I visited this fabulous gym as a guest today and it was awesome, such a treat. The management (Mike) and staff were friendly and welcoming. The facility is clean and well-organized. The equipment is new and awesome. The Mens locker room is very nice. If you really want to gain strength or lose weight, this is the place. I have been a long-time member of other gyms and once owned a nice gym. This one is the best gym of all. I cant wait to return! Thank you Mike!

I decided to do the free trial and the gym is small plus it doesnt have too much in regards to things I like to use. Everyone is sitting on top of each other in the free weights area and there isnt enough equipment to functionally do what you need without having to wait. A few more benches and more cable machines would help. The circuit isnt bad though if machines are your thing. Not terrible but not the best.

I’ve had a membership to this gym for over a year. I have. I have not complaints about it. The staff is friendly, the lockers and restrooms are clean, the machines are all usually up. At time they get crowded but it’s not constantly crowded.

I went to planet fitness for months and hated it. I had no idea that a gym of this quality could be so cheap. Equipment is new and always clean, staff is friendly but not intrusive and there are a variety of classes. Im very satisfied, great place to get in shape or stay in shape.

Gold’s gym shut down due to covid and this random gym started taking money from my account when I had never signed up for it and I had canceled my account in October but the account was still pending to be canceled in January

If your one that doesnt like to wear a mask during workout come on down . They dont enforce rules here. Well one work did . But no one else does in mornings. 18 people here and only 5 wearing mask.

I really liked this place when I first started. Months later I am disappointed. The whole layout is so backwards. The weight section is always overcrowded. There’s always someone in the isle near the machines doing walking lunges. Like really. I’m on a treadmill running and I have someone doing walking lunges or running high knees behind me. I see people use machines and walk away from them all the time. Why not wipe it down. Like hasn’t anyone heard of staph infection??? Or germs??? There always running out of sanitizer wipes. The locker rooms are always dirty. And don’t think about bringing a lock for all the 200 plus lockers they have because they will cut your lock off. You can bring a lock while your working out but you have to take the lock with you when you leave. Which sounds like the dumbest thing. It makes no sense. Like really. If your paying for a membership you can’t have a locker. Nope! Sound system is always going down. So your walking into grunting and huffing and puffing of other people so make sure you always have your headphones. You get what you pay for. Questioning my membership!!!!

Like Jubei Roku, my credit card is also being charged by Crunch Fitness without authorization. I had a membership with Golds Gym and they packed up and left with no further communication or information. Crunch Fitness is performing FRAUD by charging credit cards without authorization. I never agreed to a Crunch membership or for them to charge my credit card

Love it here. The only complaint that I have is the timer on tanning booth for is only 3 minutes and that is not long enough to get lotioned and ready before tanning. I wish theyd change it to at least 4 minutes. Ive seen other places do 5 minutes and its great.

This place wants to charge their guest for everything make sure you read every detail. I think they are hurting for money so bad its crazy that I only used the gym for 2 weeks since they closed for covid and now I owe annual and all these months they been closed. Beware dont go here.

I like the vast openness of this facility. Lots of sunlight. Machines always work and people do wipe them off when they are done. Like the music they play as well. Do wish they had WiFi but hey, can’t have everything 😀👍🏾

Great gym but would appreciate more music variety. Not everyone is stoked listening to trash trap/rap music (like Kevin Gates- 2 Phones) for hours on end. Its the only genre that this gym ever seems to play.They claim themselves to be a diverse community/environment where everyone is acceptedWell then I why not apply those same principles to music by diversifying the genres played so everyone has a chance to listen to a song they like and gets them going during their workout. Just a tip. Other than that, the gym is awesome, affordable, and staff is professional.

Staff is always friendly. I only do cardio, and have found the equipment really well-maintained and theres always a machine available for me. Great price on the basic membership, an entire year (all fees included) for less than the price of 3 months at the Y! My only complaints are minor: locker room could be a littler cleaner sometimes (but never too bad), and I wish they had wifi.

Great size gym with plenty of racks and machines. I really enjoy the turf field section and bumper plates. Best gym choice of the area!

These people stole money from my bank account. Unauthorized use of bank info they stole from Golds Gym after they went out of business. NEVER authorized any other gym to use my account information despite what they say. No notification they were doing this or anything.

My gym!!! State of the art equipment. Wife loves tanning booths and the heat and hydro massage table. Lots of cardio, and classes. Lots of free weights!! Including heavy bags, ropes, weighted push racks. Can spend the whole day there. Not to mention the pool and Jacuzzi

I was perfectly content with Crunch until I signed up for personal training. I put $100 down to “lock in any deals” and was informed I would have to pay the additional $100 later at the beginning of March. After I paid and signed the personal training contract I was scheduled for my consultation appointment that following Monday at 6pm. I never received any emails or phone notifications of any changes to my appointment time. I went in and was informed my appointment was scheduled at 5pm (why would I schedule my appointment for a time when I’m still at work?), my consultation appointment was then rescheduled for the next day at 6pm. The following day I come in and am informed at the front desk that the trainer they scheduled me with was already with another guest! Earnesto, whom is apparently the personal training manager, set up my appointment for 6:30pm. I went ahead and did my own thing until 6:30, walked up to the front desk and there was no one there. Thinking someone would return shortly I did another workout close to where the front desk was in case the personal trainer came looking for me. At around 6:41 I went up to the desk and spoke to Earnesto again, he again scheduled my appointment for 7pm the next day, Wednesday. On Wednesday I came in at 7pm and checked in, my appointment had been scheduled for 6pm!!! I could understand there being scheduling errors the first time or even the second but the third time was just too much. I immediately said this wasn’t working for me and cancelled the personal training and asked for my money back. At that time a personal trainer was standing on the other side of the counter and unenthusiastically said that they could “I guess” train me! After that whole debacle it left such a sour taste in my mouth I came in on that Friday and cancelled my gym membership. Fernando, the sales manager, was very accommodating and apologetic and tried to get me to stay but after that whole incident I realized Crunch Fitness is extremely unprofessional when it comes to interactions with their customers. Then on top of everything else my fiancé got charged $100 after I had cancelled our gym membership and personal training. When both him and I tried to call Crunch to figure out what was going on we were given incorrect explanations for the charge. He was told the $100 was his annual fee (him and I shared one membership then when he moved out of state the gym membership got changed supposedly under my name with only my bank information on file) then when he asked how he goes about cancelling his gym membership Earnesto, who he spoke to on the phone, told him to email Crunch and they would email him the documents he needed to sign (they never did). In the end the $100 was the additional amount for the personal training that I had cancelled and NEVER received! I kept having to call week after week to figure out what was going on with my refund, speaking to multiple “managers” and getting nowhere. Finally I emailed a Crunch up in Aurora to see if they could give me any additional information. The manager at the Crunch in Aurora was very nice and accommodating and gave me the name of the actual general manager Cheyenne. Finally talking to Cheyenne she put in another request for my refund for the personal training and reassured me that my fiancé did not have a separate gym membership, ours were indeed one single membership. That must of done the trick because we received our refund of the $200 this week. Everyone I spoke to at this Crunch minus Fernando, Cheyenne and the manager up in Aurora were rude and have no clue what customer service is. Beware if you are thinking of joining this gym!!!!

I love this gym. There is a large assortment of equipment and a ton of classes to take. The people at the front desk are always cheerful and greet me every visit with a smile. My only critique are the hours of operation from Friday through Sunday where they close at 9 on Fri and 6 on Sat and Sun.

This gym is clean, affordable, well equipped, and has a great hydro massage. (I dont use these features but have heard great things from others) There are classes offered for various work out programs. You can pay for a personal trainer. They have multiple membership packages. The showers are clean and they have lockers to store your belonging. Cleaning materials are places throughout the gym to wipe down your equipment after use. Only complaint that I have, which does not warrant a decrease in rating, is that I havent received a shirt because I dont work out when a manager is there to hand them out. Great gym, unbeatable pricing. Now if you could just not come here so I can keep using all the equipment uninterrupted thatd be great.

As of Jan 2018, when I go its not terribly busy. I vary my days/times every week. Its always clean and everything is well stocked. I love it here!!
