For 2 years I’ve experienced severe restrictive breathing. I’ve seen 7 medical doctors who have run every test they could think of to determine what is wrong with me. The last medical doctor literally told me she couldn’t figure out what is wrong with me. Recently I decided to reach out to a friend of mine who is a chiropractor in another state. Her immediate response was that I may have a misaligned rib. Since I’m in VA I decided to visit Dr. Andrew’s. He confirmed that I have a misaligned rib and we have started treatment. My workouts can be pretty intense and that likely caused it. Chiropractic care is real and while I respect medical doctors, they just ran tests on me and didn’t help me fix the issue. I wish that I had seen a chiropractor 2 years ago. Dr. Andrew’s is very knowledgeable and he and his staff are professional and friendly.

This place is truly amazing. The staff is kind and mindful of customers comfort levels. Prices are very fair if you dont want to go through health insurance. My first visit gave my pain levels an instant relief.

Typically, this type of consistency doesn’t take place at most doctors offices. And I will add, this was my second visit. I have to be honest, that table that massages your spine is a doozy! 👀😆 I left out of there feeling unbalanced and ready to pass out! But after I took the time to call back into the office, while still sitting in my car, to let them know what side effects I was experiencing, the young lady clarified that this was “normal “. I’m not sure if other patients have experience this but it was closely related to motion sickness. It has taken about 3 hours for me to start feeling more like myself. But all is well! Keep up the good work!

My massage was done by Tee and please believe she has hands of magic. And she put her elbows into it as well. All around great massage. Ask for the full body massage. I am visiting the area and they were able to get me in same day I called. I was in a lot of pain going in and the extremely knowledgeable, wonderful staff and dr got me going again. For a service people normally go to “their person” and to be far from home- this was a home away from home. Highly recommend to locals as well as travelers.

I started going to the Andrews Wellness Center in July. The pain in my right hip had become unbearable. In August I was declared a fall risk. The first visit at Andrews Wellness Center revealed issues I’d been living with and thinking would go away in time. I had my first wellness massage that uncovered new focus areas. A treatment plan that included a monthly massage was started. In October It was discussed that having a massage twice a month would help with my wellness process. I love my doctors, Doctor Andrews and Doctor Gallas, my massage therapist, Ms. Tracie Steele and the staff. They make wellness an inspirational adventure. I Look forward to my weekly wellness visits and the progress that is taking place.

On 7/16/18 I had an appointment at Andrews Wellness Center. Ive been having back problems on and off for a while now. Normally I would go get a massage once a month thinking that the massage would help, but it didnt. So I decided to give this place a try. I was very impressed. I informed them on the issues I was having with my back and they tackle my concerns with no problem. Very professional and definitely in tuned with their customers. I felt right at home. I will continue to come here from now on. I would recommend Andrews Wellness Center to anyone thats been having back problems.

I often forget to write reviews, but HAD to take the time to give thanks and kudos to Dr. Andrews and his great staff. I have been in agonizing pain for months and had almost given up hope of getting relief. Dr. Andrews and his staff have done more for my wellness in just TWO (2) visits than ALL of the other medical doctors and specialists I have seen (and been charged a great deal for co-pays, tests, CT scans, X-Rays, etc.). I paid the equivalent of two co-pays to my medical doctors and 1/2 fro the specialists and my pain is almost gone! I am now walking almost normally and my joy has returned. So Im a disabled veteran who hates going to the VA for anything much less to see my Doctor. I have an L5-S1 fusion in my lower back that has essentially depleted any quality to my life. So I reached out to AWC after getting approval to go here from the VA and after ONE email to them I had an appointment scheduled for the same day!! Although I wasnt able to go that same day, it was just amazing that they were willing to bring me in that quickly! So Ive been to one therapy appointment so far and it was one of the best days of my adult life post-military. I was put on a roller table and then did some time with the TINS device. Nearly instant pain relief! The staff was outstanding and tentative. So after that appointment, the VA had some issues with the paperwork and AWC worked with them to fix any issues and now I have my next appointments scheduled. I cant honestly recommend this place or its doctors quite yet, but so far it seems to be THE place to go for chiropractic therapy!

I came to Andrews Wellness Center because I had an intense pain in my mid to lower back, but when I left I felt like a brand new person. Dr. Andrews is not only knowledgeable, he is understanding, he takes the time to listen to his patients and he answer any questions you may have with great details. The staff is very pleasant, polite and knowledgeable as well. The massage therapist is also amazing. If you are having back or neck pain or if you are in need of a good massage I would recommend Andrews Wellness Center. They are great!

If you use this clinic after an accident such as automobile or other, be sure you are very careful as to what paperwork you sign here. If you have a settlement awarded this clinic will take a very large, in my opinion, chunk of change from it ... if you sign the accident paperwork. They of course also take your insurance and the co-pay, that is a requirement so no fault there. Just be aware. The treatment I received during the accident was the exact same as I had gotten before my accident, and that cost me just the usual co-pay and what the insurance paid the clinic. But by signing that paperwork several hundreds of dollars more was paid to the clinic as well of out the final settlement I received. None of which was explained to me, that they would then be able to go after part of my settlement. The practitioner even spoke with me and said he understood it had not been clearly explained to me and would advise the lawyer (who was also his friend and who he referred me to) that he would waive that bill, or send the money back to me, neither of which happened by the way. So as stated above - unless you want to pay this clinic some extra money just for the heck of it - or whatever the reason - be very careful about what paper work you sign there.

Great visit, Dr. Andrews got me moving again after I slept wrong. It was my first visit and I contacted him through his website. The staff was polite and competent. The equipment was in great shape and clean. With my military discount I was very impressed it was so affordable for some of the best chiropractic Care Ive ever had. If I wasnt just visiting, I would be back regularly!

I have been using chiropractic care for the better part of 30 years, with several different doctors, and this is the best and most complete care Ive ever received.I was in the Fort Lee area for six weeks, and managed to injure my back (bad form at the gym) to the extent that I was struggling with daily activities, including sleep. Dr. Gallus was able to alleviate my pain on the first appointment, and helped get me on the mend. The entire staff was kind and helpful. I was quickly back to 100%, and due to her treating my pelvic mis-alignment that other chiropractors have not been able to, I feel better than ever. Not to mention that my mobility improved drastically, which is important to me as an avid weightlifter/workout junkie.I was sad to have to leave the area. I wish I had a place like this back home.

I visited Andrews Wellness Center today to get adjusted and treatment for lower back, glute and calf pain. I work in the skies and as a result my body gets beaten up due to constant pressurization at high altitudes, lifting, pulling etc. I can sincerely say that my experience was exceptional. Dr. Andrews and his staff were warm, professional, personable and very knowledgeable about the issues that I’ve been experiencing. They tackled my issues headon; In addition to adjusting my back, neck and hip, I received electrical muscular therapy and massage that further targeted my problem areas. My body feels new again. I went to another chiropractor before this place and did not have half the experience I get at Andrews Wellness. Friendly and thoughtful staff, incredible massages (especially for people with chronic pain), and the doctors are really good at not over adjusting you. They give you what you need without putting you in more pain. Oh and the stim unit and massage table that you use before your actual adjustment is amazing!! They also accept VA patients which is a huge plus. I was really hesitant with trying another chiropractor after my first experience where they seemed to take advantage of the VA and the patient benefit wise, and really seemed to ignore my complaints of increased intense pain after adjustments. But Im very glad that I chose Andrews because having an adjustment and massage weekly from them really helps the aches and pains that come with fibromyalgia.

After being in excruciating pain for over 6 months and being told to drink water and pop naproxen, my mother-in-law recommended I see Dr. Andrews. After one visit he cut my pain in half by repositioning my hip and back. Three weeks later I’m almost pain free. The whole team of professionals that work there are amazingly sweet. If you’re military, definitely go in for an alignment. You won’t regret it. Best $40 spent! Thank You Dr. Andrews!

My name is Mark Johnson. I’m currently in Cosmetology school and work at a barbershop called Refuge For Men. I have an extensive history in sports, landscaping and surgeries and just being on my feet in general. I’m only 29. I suffer from arthritis and have several permanent dislocation. For many YEARS I couldn’t sleep, sit, walk, or stand without being unbalanced and without pain. I met Dr. Andrews at my shop one day. A neighboring barber cuts his hair. He noticed me whencing and streatching trying to find comfort. He then said “You know I’m a Chiropractor right”? I was in awe because this could be the moment change has come. Which it did. I booked an appointment right after our conversation and got adjusted the very next week. Never being in in an environment as such I was a bit confused but his staff was extremely comforting and helpful with any questions I had. I had 40lbs more pressure on my right foot and it was shorter than the left by 2 inches. After my vitals were written, I then saw Dr Andrews. And that’s where sorcery took place lol. After the adjustment; Once I stood up on my two I just about cried. I was balanced, could look upright and most of my lower back issues I was having were subsided. I told him that he was a wizard. I’ve never had a therapy only 1 time that could assist with these problematical issues I’d been suffering with for YEARS. Right after we shook hands. I saw the receptionist and right then and there signed up for the ChrioClub Gold package which includes 4 adjustments a month and since I was a new patient, you receive a free 30 min massage on the house. My mouth dropped because I didn’t know things could get any better. Jordan conducted my massage and every part of the experience was wonderful. Every muscle she touched she knew the name, function, and techniques I could do to prevent future discomfort. So now I’m locked in with both a massage and adjustment once a week. I went in on a Thursday morning, walking like I was 92. Im 31. I had been to my PCP, rheumatologist, orthopedic surgeon, dermatologist (yup), you name it and I tried to get help. No one could help me or really listened to me. I missed an entire week of work because the pain was so bad. I went to the Prince George office first. Everyone was really nice from the beginning. Dr. Andrews is absolutely wonderful. He is kind of soft spoken, young guy, with a nice smile. (Hehe)Anyway, I was there for an hr (the longest part was paperwork) and I walked out like new money. The weakness in my legs had already gone away. I went to the colonial heights office that following Monday (today) and received another treatment. Im sitting in my car and I feel great. Im at 70% which is like 1000% to me. The staff were great and showed me around. I would recommend Dr. Andrews to anyone with any back or joint problems.I should mention that I have fibromyalgia and he was careful to make sure I was ok throughout the process. 10 stars! Im going to be a regular client here.

I’ve had back issues since high school when I hurt it lifting, playing football, and wrestling. It would act up every once in a while, but nothing major in college. I competed collegiately in Fencing for a few years with no major pain. When I made the switch to coach, I stoped excercising as much and at a practice one day I threw my back out so bad I couldn’t walk for 3 days. Didn’t have insurance or money to do anything about it, so I lived with some acute pain for a few years. Started playing rugby last year to get back in shape and this spring season really messed me up. For about 3 weeks I couldn’t dress myself it was so bad. I called 5 chiropractors and all were rude to me when I asked questions except for AWC. They were the only place to tell me what to expect up front. Got set up for an appointment at a time that my wife could drive me. They took both me and my wife on a tour of the facility and invited her to sit in on my adjustment to see what was happening. Dr. Andrews is kind, professional, and has done a great job. He explained to both me and my wife what the issue was and how he would work to correct it and what steps we could take at home. 4 sessions down and I feel like a new man.Thanks AWC and Dr. Andrews!

Before beginning Dr. Andrews treatment plan, I complained of persistent pain in my neck, lower back, and shoulders. Still early in the treatment plan, the pain in my neck is practically gone and my shoulder pain is mild and only intermittent. My lower back pain remains but is considerably reduced. I look forward to beginning the maintenance program soon. Dr. Andrews has done wonders for me and I highly recommend him and his friendly, professional staff.
