I always felt that funeral homes were dark, dismal and forbidding places. My experience proved this wrong. I walked into bluebonnet and was always met by smiling faces, friendly and professional employees, a light and airy feeling in the building, and people who actually cared. They always made me feel comfortable...even when i was completely unsure of what i wanted. They guided me through the whole process with dignity and instead of the whole experience being stressful for me....i could relax and accept their counsel. The pricing may be a bit higher than some places....but the experience was well worth it.

It feels weird to leave a 5 star review for a funeral home, but Bluebonnet Hills was amazing. William took his time with our family to make all of the arrangements perfect. Our meeting ran over on time and he never once rushed us. He responded promptly to emails and texts. Bluebonnet Hills grounds are immaculately kept and beautiful. There are lots of options for various price ranges there. I highly recommend!

Losing a loved one is incredibly difficult. My family is so grateful to the staff at Bluebonnet Hills (Colleyville, TX) for their compassion and professionalism. My fathers graveside service was undertaken with dignity and reverence, and every element, including military honors and special music, was planned and executed perfectly. We received the same compassionate care when my mother passed away and could not imagine going through these sad events without the benefit of people who understood our grief and could walk us gently through every step of the journey. Were a grateful family.

You recently handled the services for my family member on Aug 11 and 12 (visitation and services). I just want to say that your professional handling was so impeccable and without exception, amazingly considerate to the family. I was the deceaseds sister-in-law but my dear sister is the wife of the deceased. Obviously, her emotions were very tender; yet, the way you handled every question, every detail and every way shed like to have the setup done was so courteous and thoughtful of the family and we really appreciate you and your funeral home. I appreciated your every effort in making this time more bearable for my loved ones. From the sweet visitation time all the way through the services and luncheon prior to military honors during burial . . . it was reverently executed with such honor and consideration of the grieving family. A mere Thank you falls short of how grateful I am for the manner in which you handled my sister and her family members during this difficult time. Im pretty protective of my sister. Her wishes and that of her daughters is ALL I cared about. Its comforting to see that their wishes were ALL you cared about as well. I would recommend your professional services to anyone in that area. You exceeded expectations. Thank you so very much! Denise Kelly

Im not sure words can fully describe how much Will Ciociola and his team at Bluebonnet Hills meant to our family. My mothers death was very sudden and quite a shock to my family -- we entered the funeral planning process in a VERY difficult situation. Will went out of his way on countless occasions to reassure me that everything was handled and bent over backwards to make sure that every detail was just as we wanted it to be. I am NOT an easy person to please, and I can honestly say that I would not have changed one detail in my mothers service. We truly felt like Will was a member of our extended family, and I would highly recommend him to anyone that finds themselves in this time of need.

Recently attended funeral of dear friend. First one since Covid. I did not appreciate the tables/dining arrangement for the funeral service. Also, a food service was offered and we were back at the same tables with dear friend lying there. It just wasnt right. Close the casket and remove him before the meal. Chairs lined up or pews are the traditional way and I missed that. This just seemed so casual and disrespectful. Please reconsider. I also thought the audience should have been instructed to stand at the dismissal of the family. I expected more from Bluebonnet.

My first experience was in 2017 with my mothers passing. She was buried at Arlington National Cemetery in the Washington DC area. Bluebonnet exceeded my fathers and my expectations. This is why when my father passed in May I didn’t hesitate to contact Bluebonnet for my father. They were contacted and arrived within 2 hours. They were extremely professional and more importantly respectful to my father. They even had an American Flag to drape my father. The respect and care shown to both my mother and father is why I wouldn’t hesitate to tell people to call Bluebonnet. They maybe a little more expensive than some other places, but this this isn’t clipping coupons. This is a onetime expense, and this is why you would by a Mercedes vs a Hundi.

In the almost post-pandemic times, it is my opinion that charging an additional $500 to video streaming a funeral service dips deeply into the predatory pricing realm. Web cameras are cheap and streaming services are free. For the health of many grieving people, this should be a service included for free. Through the pandemic, funerals are one of the highest known super-spreader events (case in point: this funeral was canceled due to close family members coming down with Covid!!!).We called 5 funeral homes in Tennessee, and 3 in Arizona. ALL include streaming for free.I was put under pressure to delete this review. I am choosing to leave it up so that potential future customers know to ask about video streaming while planning their service. While you are distracted with grief, you might not think about elderly or people that should protect their health and stay at home. You expect leadership from a funeral home to guide you in difficult times. This is a case where I expect better behavior from Bluebonnet Hills.

So unfortunately Im in a position to write a review on this experience that we had at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. My father-in-law passed recently and we were given the privilege to have Will Ciociola help us through this process from when we arrived to the end and actually Beyond because he still communicating with us to make sure were getting everything we need and everything we ask for. My entire family has been buried here. From my grandfather and grandmother and my father and now my father-in-law and I cant think of any part of the services that we have had here that we were not happy with but specifically talking about the most current interaction with Will and the staff here at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home they have made it a seamless and easy transaction. The service they provided in their new updated Chapel for lack of a better word is more of a celebration of life than what you would expect from a quote-unquote funeral home Chapel. The setup is very modern and they decorated it with items and photos that my father-in-law I would have really liked. With this they also had a nice little area with appetizers and snacks for people while they interacted they had a really nice setup for water and drain yeah, they had a sign-in book with these little keychains made up that were about Texas because my father-in-law was really big into Texas . They let us customize Music bass set a customized photo album with photos that we submitted . When you lose a loved one and you have to go through something like this you want somebody that you can trust that will take care of all the details so you can have time to grieve and be with your family to mourn your loss I highly recommend you consider using Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and ask for will specifically and I promise you you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful, well maintained property with a fantastic location. There are many shade trees and a pond, giving Bluebonnet a park-like feel. The interior of the main building, if you have a service there, is newly updated and spacious. Staff is very professional and well dressed and the phones are promptly answered when you call. Because you are getting these benefits, expect the pricing to be commensurate!!! Negatives: I do not recommend purchasing a headstone there as it is taking about 9 months to get ours, which is not acceptable. Once the burial is done, service and response times dwindle away to very slow and even non-existent at times and you will need to light occasional proverbial fires to wrap up any final items (like a head stone, which is very important).

I couldnt have been more pleased. I feel like Jay was honored by his loved ones and many friends. I knew Jay was special to me, but he was so special to everyone who knew him. I was very pleased with the service. You played a beautiful part in what wss Jays last moments on earth. Thank you, Jay. Scott and Tony. Loved the honor guards and Air Force! They added so much by honoring his service to civilians and his country.

I can’t say enough good things about Blue Bonnet Hills and their amazing team, especially Kristy Prince and Cecilia Garcia! We came to Blue Bonnet after having MANY challenges with my grandmother’s final arrangements at her place of rest over 500 miles away. Kristy and Cecilia aided our family in resolving all of our challenges without any financial benefit to their establishment. I can not say enough about their professionalism, family focus, and compassion. This establishment and these two have been a true gift from God in moving forward with the healing process.

We went because of a visitation that we thought was tonight, but found out by family member his wife cancel it all the sudden. But the Director of the funeral home absolutely unprofessional and extremely argumentative instead of her saying Yes there was supposed to be another visitation and yes it was cancelled by his wife. Instead she was arguing saying I dont know how legendary added another visitation date and she also was talking Down to us instead of talking to us and her receptionist was more professional than she was. We left there with a bad taste in our mouths because of the way the Director of the funeral home treated us and talked to us extremely unprofessional and not only that the Director of the funeral home needs to learn customer service skills in the way she talks to guests

My family lost two family members within a two week period. The staff at Blue Bonnet made a really hard situation a little easier. For each funeral they provided our loved ones with dignity and made sure our needs were not only met but went above and beyond our expectations. Tony Nguyen, Gerald Clark and Kristy Prince have become part of our extended family. They truly do care about their clients and their families.

Gerald Clark was absolutely amazing, making the memorial service so simple and stress free for my mother and I after the sudden passing of my father. The sincerity and empathy from the entire staff was so heartwarming. I will always be grateful for the beautiful ceremony I know my father loved. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My husband passed away recently from a long-term chronic illness. I contacted Bluebonnet around 2:30am.. they were so warm and kind. The next day, I met with Gerald Clark, my funeral director. He is the best. With such compassion, kindness and respect, he took care of every detail. I know sometimes, I seemed a bit flustered, he just kept assuring me, it will all be taken care of, I did not need to worry, and it was.. So wonderful. So beautiful. Every detail of the service was exactly the way I wanted it. Thank you Gerald and all the staff, you are awesome..

Ryan Stewart was absolutely wonderful! He was both caring and compassionate, when we evaluated options and planned for my Moms passing. After she passed away, he was very patient with our questions and helpful in following through with our plans. Planning funeral arrangements is an emotional experience, but he was very calming at a very hectic time.

Sam Scott and the entire staff at Bluebonnet Hills brought joy and precious memories out of an impossible situation. The wisdom imparted, insights on how to honor my father, and the impeccable property made for a beautiful memorial. One that fulfilled every hope for the day and then some. I will never be able to properly express the amount of relief and peace that came from choosing Bluebonnet Hills for our services. Sam guided us perfectly and His words were nothing short of eloquent and profound. I do not think anyone could have done more justice or honor to my family. Thank you a million times over!!

Thank each and everyone of the individuals that made it all possible.

My family and I use Bluebonnet Hills funeral home for the memorial service and visitation for my uncle who passed away suddenly on New Year’s Day. I was very impressed not only with the physical buildings but I was also impressed equally by the humbleness and servant mindedness of the staff. This was a very difficult time for my family. The staff at Bluebonnet Hills was kind and gracious to each and everyone of us, and walked us through the grief process seamlessly. What I was most impressed with were the personal touches that we felt all throughout the memorial service for my uncle. If you are looking for a funeral home in which to Interact with when the time comes for you to bury a loved one, I highly recommend Bluebonnet Hills funeral home and Cemetery in Colleyville Texas. I promise you you will find no other staff committed to serving you and your family needs As well as this one.

I wanted to say that Albert was very helpful and supportive. We had just placed flowers on our sons grave and they were taken up 3 days later due to maintenance. I called and spoke with him and he literally went out to where they placed the flowers and sent me pictures to help locate them. He found some that were similar and placed them back on our sons grave when the maintenance period was over.

Im posting this from two perspectives. And, since Ive never been a CLIENT of theirs, Im only giving them four stars.Due to my business, Ive had the opportunity to do some work at Bluebonnet Hills. Ive actually done work at several area funeral homes, and one thing that stand out at this facility is their care and respect for everyone that walks through their doors. Ive heard many conversations in the back, and have always been impressed by their sensitivity to the situations their clients are walking through. Ive not personally used their services, mind you (and I hope I wont need to for quite some time!) - but they are definitely on the top of my list. Ive had the pleasure of interfacing with much of their staff, and they are great people.Last month (May 2017), I had the opportunity to attend the Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park Memorial Day service. My father is 92 years old and a Navy Veteran, and Ill say this was a wonderful service to thank the many men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our great country. The service was very dignified and respectful - something Ive come to expect from Bluebonnet, without any disappointment. There were Boy Scouts passing out bottled water in the Texas heat - they thought of everything. This is definitely a must-do for me and my family from now on.

Losing a loved one is hard and I am so thankful for Angie! She is AMAZING! I lost my mother unexpectedly and being an only child to a single parent meant I had to navigate my mothers death alone however Angie (and Key who is no longer there) went over and beyond to make sure my mothers funeral was well taken care of. I trust Angie and I hope anyone reading these reviews looking for a good funeral home to care for their loved ones will see that Bluebonnet Hills is a highly recommended choice. Thank you Angie!!

My wife died in July of 2019 and, because she was considerably younger than me, I had never made preparations for her funeral. I contacted Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home to get help. The people there were very nice to me and helped me select the type of service that I thought was appropriate and never tried to hard sell me anything that I didn’t really want. The service was conducted professionally and, with the cooperation of my children, went without a hitch. These things are never very pleasant, but Bluebonnet and their staff made in as comfortable for me as I could expect. One particular person that helped me through the experience was a Family Service Counselor, Zaneta Houst. She Came to visit me in my home and helped me select a service for myself that removes the worries that my kids would have to face upon my passing. It is comforting to know that it has all been taken care of and that it is being handled by a reputable funeral home. Zaneta is professional and courteous and leaves you with the sense that you have made a good choice. She was kind and thoughtful and I got the feeling that she was sincere about her job because she never tried to use any pressure to convince me one way or another.

I want to say “Thank you” to the Bluebonnet Hills family. My mother passed away at the beginning of the Covid – 19 outbreak before gatherings were limited to 10 people. People were afraid of the unknown, so only a few close friends attended her service, but standing by the street were all the managers and a few funeral directors from Bluebonnet Hills. It was very touching to see them there to support my family. I also what to thank Family Service Counselor, Ryan Stewart for checking in on me from time to time. Bluebonnet Hills, you are the GOLD standard.

The passing of my mom was harder than I could have ever expected. I was the sole care taker for my mom for over 30 years and her passing was very hard for me. That being said, the staff at Bluebonnet were very understanding. Knowing Bluebonnet makes a living at what they do, there was never any pressure and or sales pitch with all that needed to be done. I never felt pressured and or uncomfortable. What I found was a very compassionate staff, in Ryan and Gerald. They made sure I had everything I needed and wanted even on the day of the funeral. My mom purchased her funeral and burial many years prior to her passing and I know she would have been very pleased with how everything was handled for her family. I am forever grateful to Ryan and Gerald for the way they treated me and my family in our time of need and sorry.
