I purchased (through insurance) a very, very, expensive complex power wheelchair from them a year and a half ago. They were very attentive and quick during the purchasing process. Once it was done however, and the chair dropped off, I never, ever heard from them again. The gentleman adjusted and tweaked at the dropoff the best we could without me having driven it around. Having a severe medical condition as I do, all of these things matter, besides they are why the chair is so expensive. He said he would call me in a week to check on me and see if I needed him to come back to change anything. Nothing. Ever again. I gave a lot of leeway due to covid and whatnot. I was patient and waited. It came to needing to buy an accessory, so I contacted them. I wasnt completely sure they were the company that I purchased the chair from. I kind of figured that they would be able to tell me. Instead, the woman who answered the phone, acted as though she had no idea what up and down were. Please look in your records. Tell me if I Tracy Gale, received a Quantum Q6 Edge power chair from you, and you, in return, received a very large sum of money. Either that was too much for her, or their transactions arent recorded.?? She was going to check with someone and call me back. I did receive a butt dial, they hung up after about 20 seconds. I have not however, received a call back regarding my chair. I am going to buy my accessories from a competitor. I am going to go through my insurance company to make sure I get my adjustments. I guess theyll decide what to do, if anything.

I had them out to do maintenance on my chair and it’s going into two weeks and they tell my insurance company that it could be seven to ten days before I can receive the parts. If I could rate them no stars I most definitely would.

I had a lower back injury and was prescribed a TENS unit. BetaMed was very knowledgeable and helpful, they got me what I needed quick! They helped me get back on my feet! Thanks

It took over twelve months for them to get the parts to put a custom wheelchair together , and it still looked like it was put together with Legos and paperclips. Total incompetents.

Customer service is to be desired. Every time we call to get my sons wheelchair maintenanced, its always some excuse. If I wouldve known this was how it is I wouldve went to a different company. Sometimes we have to wait up to a month+ before someone comes out.

All I gotta say is this is the most worthless company ever. I will never ever go to them for another wheel chair. Took 2 years to even get my son one and took months for them to fix it if messed up. I wouldnt even give them one star. They always had an excuse and then when you call to talk they where always busy or just never cared to call you back.

No problem picking up the product and it was the best in the business, the staff are very flexible and knowledgeable! I will use them again if I need their services!

They do not carry CPAP machines.

They rent hospital beds but only have 2-3 and those are always rented out. Seek another place

Very difficult to deal with. They didnt follow up when we needed a wheelchair for my son, forcing us to go with a company out of town. When an airline broke my sons wheelchair and I gave them BetaMeds contact to repair it, they never called the airline back

While they didnt have what i was looking for, the gentleman that answered the phone pointed me in the right direction elsewhere!
