I dont normally write reviews but I feel he deserves to be acknowledged after reading some of the negative reviews. This is my second visit and Im very happy with him, his assistant and the office staff including communication and appointment availability. My elbow had been killing me and he was very thorough and even sent me for a nerve study to make sure, today I received a steroid shot with other instructions including a 6 week follow up, Its nice to be able to explain symptoms and pain levels and not get the run around. I highly recommend him.

I first went to see Dr Brazeal back in 2013 just after moving to College Station. I had been having issues with my knees for several years and had ben told that eventually they would have to be replaced. Dr Brazeal echoed that but due to the fact that I was only 50 years old he recommended I wait as long as I could stand it due to the fact that i would most likely outlive the technology of the replacements and have to do it again, which he said would probably not be the best idea. I went to see him yearly until 2018 when it was to the point that my quality of life was to the point that I could not even make through a trip to HEB due to the pain. He agreed it was time and he has successfully replaced both knees and both shoulders. the last shoulder was done in fall of 2020. My quality of life3 has vastly improved and I have resumed working out and am in better shape than I have been in years. I can say that he is great at what he does and I am more than satisfied of his work.

We were referred to Dr. Brazeal from St. Joes emergency room for my teen daughter who had broken her forearm. He and his staff were very nice and comforted all her anxiety. She went in concerned about possible surgery (due to the fact that shes almost fully grown) and paranoid about everything from the numbness to the healing. He respectfully answered all her questions and didnt demean her in the least. He also showed her the x-rays so she could see the healing. We were very pleased with the entire experience.

Additionally, as his former roommate at Texas A&M, I can personally attest to his relentless work ethic, absolute and practical genius, and commitment to living out his faith and practice. I was misdiagnosed with medial epicondylitis by several doctors and was in chronic pain for a year and a half. After moving to Texas, I saw Dr. Brazeal and he diagnosed me with ulnar nerve entrapment. It made so much sense why none of the previous treatments had worked. I ended up getting a surgical procedure done by Dr. Brazeal and havent regretted it!

The office staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and interacted great with my 6 year old. Dr Brazeal spoke to my daughter and made her feel comfortable, not scared at all.

The first words out of his mouth when he came into the room was how old are you. So I feel that he doesnt care about the quality of life of the aged. Then I was too fat for the knee surgery, he clearly didnt want to do surgery on me but to have to sit through the worst description of the surgery just to disway me from wanting relief from such unbearable pain. I did get a shot in the knee as a consolation prize. This doctor needs CEUs in bedside manner. With that being said, everyone else that worked in that office was kind and caring, actual Health Professionals.

Dr. Brazeal was very professional and informative. He guided us in the right direction to help my wife to hopefully start healing after over a year of miss diagnosing her problem from another doctor.

Very rude and unprofessional doctor. I went to an appointment with him and he is very demeaning, and tries to minimize what you are feeling. He gives off the vibe that his opinion matters over how you are feeling and he even mocked the way I showed him how I moved my leg.

After suffering my first shoulder dislocation (or shoulder problem of any kind) two weeks ago, I was told to see a shoulder specialist. I decided to book an appointment with Dr. Brazeal. I expressed my lifelong desire to join the military after graduating from Texas A&M University, particularly to attend a special operations selection program. With this in mind, he did some quick stretches and movements on my shoulder to assess the damage. My shoulder is still in a considerable amount of pain, and I have limited mobility, but he blames this on a lack of muscle in my arm. He decided to hold off on getting an MRI for 5 weeks, and requested I remove the sling 1 week after seeing him and perform stretches and mobility movements for the remaining 4 weeks. If I was still experiencing problems after 5 weeks, he said he would conduct an MRI. He gave me a card with his personal website information on it, and told me to just watch the stretches online because he didnt want to spend the time to show them to me in person. I soon decided to get a second opinion from Central Texas Sports Medicine in Bryan TX. They quickly decided after looking at my arm that I needed an immediate MRI. The results came back shortly after that I had a full thickness tear of anterior inferior glenoid labrum, and a Hill-sachs fracture in my shoulder, and need immediate surgery. If I had blindly followed the misinformed opinion of Dr. Brazeal, I am sure my shoulder would have never been the same again. I cannot be more displeased with my experience at St. Josephs Hospital, and will never be returning.

I went to this doctor because mine had retired. I was told that this doctor had the same belief in ethical patient treatment. He saw me for five minutes, and at the end of a non-exam said, Ill give you a cortisone shot but in three years youll come back begging me for surgery . What? Oh, you need to pay off loans and so youre going to cut first and collect and go.
