I felt like the personnel testing me for the possibility of loose crysals in my ear were very disinterested and dismissive as to any problem l may be experiencing. Really felt belittled, and not taken seriously. As a nurse myself, I know what to expect from a medical team. I will no longer use their services.

This place is an absolute SCAM. March 4th, I went to Signature Care emergency room breaking out in a major hives rash. I was sent home with steroids and a few other medications, which worked for the time being, but my hives came back a few days after and WORSE. I made an emergent appointment with Texas ENT & Allergy and went in that same day. I saw Dr. Price and was told to go get a blood test. This visit had a $60 copay and he sent me home with no prescriptions to help with the pain/itchiness and no explanation. SCAM. I went and got my blood work done right after my allergy appointment and had another appointment scheduled with Texas ENT & Allergy a week later to “discuss results.” A week later comes and I go to Texas ENT & Allergy for my SECOND appointment. I was informed that they “couldn’t find my blood results from CPL labs”. HOW THE HELL DO YOU LOSE LAB RESULTS? Unprofessional. I sat in the patient room waiting to even be spoken with by a doctor for over an hour so they could “find my lab results”. When Dr. Price finally came in, he told me they found them and that my blood work was normal. Though 3 weeks later, I was still covered in hives, I was sent home again with no prescription or explanation. He said he’ll “call me in 2 weeks to see if they’ve gone away.” Moral of the story, do NOT waste your time or money here and most importantly, do NOT trust them with your care because they’ll just lose your results and send you home with no help.UPDATE:since I posted this review, I was still breaking out in hives and had just visited this healthcare facility. The doctor sent me home again with no medication and this time he said “I’ll call you in about 2 weeks to check up on you.” It is now a month since my appointment and I haven’t received even 1 phone call from them asking how i’m doing... You know, since they didn’t give me any medication in the 1st place. Yea this place is an absolute scam, the doctors’s do NOT care about the safety/wellbeing of their patients. Do not give them any money. Shut them down

I have seen two doctors in this practice, one was for me and another for my son. I have allergy, asthma problems and my son was experiencing reoccurring ear infections. I was not impressed with my experience as he told me nothing new and only offered surgery as a treatment option. I also received the $500 surgery bill for my endoscopy that others described. This was at least 4 years ago and at that time they said they would better inform patients of these costs up front, but clearly this hasnt happened. For my son, we received good care and he had tubes put in his ears. All was fine, but at our last check up there was an additional $130 added to the bill for cleaning of the ears. We were at the appointment for less than 5 minutes and the cleaning they mentioned was to remove a small ball of wax from my sons ear to see the tubes. This happens at almost every appointment my son has ever had with his pediatrician and we have never been charged for a cleaning. When I mentioned this to their billing staff, they said, yes, but he is a specialist. They do seem to offer good care, but their billing is terrible. You will over pay for services...and by a lot.

UPDATE: After posting my original review, I was contacted by Dr. Kuppersmith to resolve the issue I had with a member of his team. He was more than willing to work with me in regards to me having to take off work to travel to College Station from Huntsville. Also, full disclosure: I have anxiety and driving on this particular highway to get to this facility can send me into a full swing panic attack. This completely changed my mind about the clinic and replaced a lot of my frustration with an actual sense of caring. I know it is not the easiest thing to call an upset individual to find out what can be done to make things right, but he did. This was a game changer for sure. I am extremely grateful, especially since he had been the one to perform my sinus surgery (with great results). After he let me vent for about 10 minutes, Rochelle (whom I love) called me and we worked out the details to get my prescriptions in Huntsville. I will be returning to the clinic for the remainder of my follow up procedures and for the treatment of my allergies.I will recommend this clinic, and say that, if you encounter an issue, call and ask to speak with Dr. Kuppersmith or Rochelle. They will work with you. Thank you both so much!!Original Post: I was called about 2 weeks ago by a staff member after a follow up appointment with Dr. Kuppersmith to get my allergy drops ordered. I live in Huntsville, but was told that I would have to come to the College Station office to be shown how to use an epi pen prior to getting my allergy drops. The staff member even asked what pharmacy I used while on the phone with her. At NO TIME did she say that I needed to bring the epi pen in with me. I assumed that they would be providing it since they had to show me how to use it. I head to my appointment today after taking off work for it and drive to College Station. As I am in the office, I am told that I need my epi pen. Why do you tell someone when they are at the appointment, in the office, that they need to bring this? Then I tell the same individual that called me two weeks ago that this was not said to me, and that I had even been to my pharmacist a few days prior and had no prescriptions from them. She then asks if I went to the pharmacy today. Why would I go before my appointment? Seems like something you would do after a doctor appointment. She then looks it up on the computer and they NEVER sent any prescription over to my pharmacy. She then asks if I can use a different pharmacy, but I did not want to use the pharmacy she suggested. Now she has to reschedule me and I have to take another half day off of work. At NO time did she apologize for this when they hadnt even sent in the prescription, which confirmed in my mind, that they would be providing the epi pen since my allergy drops had not been sent over to be filled. She was very unconcerned and made it seem like people who are new to this should know how this works. As I was there, I noticed a sign up that reads Please Bring Epi Pen to Your Visit. I cannot understand why this was not mentioned on the phone if you have signs posted up about it. I probably would have been less upset had the staff member recognized her mistake and apologized, but she did not at all. I will be finding another ENT. This is not the first time that I have received confusing information from staff at this clinic. However, Rochelle at this clinic, on the allergy side is super sweet and amazing.

Texas ENT & Allergy is an artist of scam (No wonder so many five-star review). I went here for a nose diagnosis. First, the receptionist lied to my face saying that they are in network of Blue Cross Blue Shield. This is not true according to my insurance agent and the medical bill. Second, they will categorize a 5-min diagnosis into a surgery and charge you $500. Moreover, if you are new patient, congrats! There will be $180 charge for your bonus. They will charge you as much as they can. So you think you can dispute this bill. NO! They will force you to sign an agreement before your diagnosis. It is true that the doctors know what they doing. If you are rich and dont care about the medical bill, it is still a decent place to go with.

I have been going to Tx ENT for many years, but for the last year or so, this place has fallen apart. I paid $450 to get hearing aid fixed and two new ear molds. They could not fix it! The new Audiologist couldnt check it on computer. I really dont think she knows the computer system. They sent it to another fix-it place, still not fixed! I demanded my money back as they did not fix anything., but I have not received anything back yet. I got both new molds, but they are not any good if the hearing aid doesnt work. I dont know where the old molds are. I first took it there on June 21st and went there to pick it up August 1st. Well over a month. They have no regard for people that depend on a hearing aid. I have to say that I really like Dr. Price. He has always helped me with moist ears, and the girls at the front desk have always been nice and helpful! I would have given them 5 stars 4 years ago.June 2019, I needed to go back to get everything checked out. To my surprise, there is a new audiologist, Samantha Hudson, that helped me. I was so impressed by her services, know how and friendliness. She showed so much confidence in what she was doing and suggesting. I certainly will not hesitate to go back to see her. If I cannot hear, I cannot socialize, which naturally will put anyone into a more secluded lifestyle. I will not hesitate to go back to Dr. Hudson. Good for Texas ENT.

I JUST got off the phone with a member named Ashley who cut me off as I was explaining my situation and COLD transferred me without even saying who she was sending me to only to be told I need to make another appointment for a refill. Edit: I was contacted by both an office administrator and Dr. Kuppersmith within a day of posting this review. They both acknowledged my concerns and graciously apologized for the lack of communication in my appointment and afterward as well as the assistants misquote. Mary was great about my bill and noted that my issues would be used in training to help avoid similar problems in the future. I really appreciated their calls and apologies. Two stars were added to reflect that my issues were addressed.Original: I should have listened to the reviews before I went. This place is predatory. I have been to several ENTs throughout my life for recurrent sinus infections. When I mentioned this to Dr. Kuppersmith during my 15 minute appointment, he told me to discontinue the treatment that previous doctors had placed me on. He did not want to discuss pharmacological management, but instead said he needed to do an endoscopy to confirm that I didnt have any structural issues. Though I was hesitant and asked about cost and need for this procedure, I was told by the assistant that it was necessary and that I could expect to pay between $100 and $200 out of pocket. After scoping me for maybe 30 seconds total, he said everything looked fine (no further explanation was given) and that allergy shots and a CT scan and maybe surgery were my only options. I should not have been surprised that the most lucrative treatment plans for Texas ENT were my only options according to Dr. Kuppersmith. After meeting with Rochelle to discuss shots, she was supposed to call me back with a cost. She did not, so I cancelled my appointment, but asked to her to call me back with the total when she had it. 20 days later, I am still waiting for that call. I did, however, get my $500 bill for the endoscopy, and my part is certainly more than the $100-$200 I was quoted. When I called billing to ask about this, I was told that the assistant never should have quoted me this and that I signed a consent, so I am on the hook for the bill. Please consider alternatives to this specialist; my general practitioner was very upset with their treatment plan and fixed my issues free of charge, over the phone, and without allergy shots or surgery.

I’ve about had it with healthcare “professionals” lately. I am so tired of wasting my time with physicians and specialists who treat you like you are nothing more than an obstacle to their lunch or in this case a phone call. My son has struggled for the past two years with his sinuses. We finally get in to see a well reviewed ENT doctor and I felt like things would be better with this facility. Our ENT was on vacation and I had no issues with seeing Dr. Price in the meantime. I assumed he would treat us with the same curtsey Dr. de Jong has done. Unfortunately, Dr. Price was barely in the room looking at my sons ears when one of his staff members was opening the door to our room. She dis this not once but THREE freaking times. Over a phone call. I was so irritated that I couldn’t even think of anything I had went in wanting to know about or better understand from my sons surgery or current issues with his post nasal drip. Instead I had bit my tongue so as not to go off on these inconsiderate “professionals.” I’m honestly disgusted by this and offended. I tried very hard to keep my composure yesterday but it has really bothered me. Here’s a newsflash for ya, whether your patient pays out of pocket or it’s picked up by insurance, they left whatever they were doing that day to be seen by YOU. I drove 45 minutes just to be shoved out the door in less than 2 minutes and have some employee shove her head in with eyes rolling to say someone was on the phone, and I’m sure others take time off work or school to be seen as well. Stop being freaking rude and insensitive. You have zero idea what that person has got going on beside their ears, nose, and throats. We HUMANS are not an assembly line of patients. Oh and you can ask “do you have any more questions” all ya want but when you’re basically walking out the door it doesn’t really send the message you actually want to hear a question.

DO NOT GO HERE! COMPLETE SCAM!I went here back in November for a simple clogged ear and wound up paying $450 after they were done with me. They didnt just remove the wax from my ear but they had me do a test to see if there was any liquid behind my eardrum and had me do a hearing test. I am just a college student and didnt realize that every test they perform is going to cost over a hundred dollars. Since they realized that I was young they tried to extort money from me without ever telling me about the prices behind these tests and scheduled a follow up visit two weeks later to do a hearing test to extort more money out of me.I show up two weeks later for the test and find out that I owed them all of the money and went ahead and payed it since I already fell for their scam. I looked at the bill and saw that they charged $180 for the hearing test and another $145 for the liquid behind the eardrum test so I was really pissed off that they would screw me over like that without telling me how much these tests would cost. I go into the exam room and the doctor comes in to check my mouth, nose, and ears; and tells me that everything looks good and to keep taking allergy pills. He never gave me another hearing test which I didnt want to anyways because Im not going to pay another $160. The entire interaction lasted less than 2 minutes and was completely worthless. I get a bill in the mail on January 13th saying I owe $160 for the 2 minutes the doctor spent with me and the bill is due on January 17th. I give them a call to dispute the charge and they say that going to the doctor is going to cost money and its not free.In the end, Im now out $610 for a simple clogged ear because I let them do tests on my ear and schedule a follow up visit without telling me how absurd their prices were going to be. If you go to this office, plan on getting ripped off big time since they feel they can charge whatever they like and con you into taking all of these absurd tests. I have had my ear clogged before and had a Houston ENT fix it for $60. I would not recommend this office to my worst enemy.
