Incredibly timely and efficient. Probably the smoothest doctors experience I’ve ever had. The doctor recommended the most conservative option (which I appreciated), and I hope to see improvement soon. They need to teach other doctors offices how to run as efficiently as they do.

Dr. Scott Kimmerley is one of Atlantas finest orthopedic surgeons and an incredibly patient focused physician. I have had the pleasure of 4 different surgeries with Dr. Kimmerley and he has been incredible. He and his team are very responsive and easy to communicate with. My prayer is that additional surgeries arent necessary but should the need arise I would not go anywhere else.

My experience was great. The staff was very professional. I was seen right away. I was able to get an x-ray right away and it was evaluated immediately by the doctor. Dr Kimmerly listened carefully to my symptoms and explained my options for treatment. I felt like I was in good hands.

Dr. Kimmerly is the best! He is personable and explains your procedure so You can understand your treatment and or surgery. I’ve seen him twice, once on my knee and the other on my shoulder where both needed surgery. My knee healed up nicely and I was back at work in 6 weeks. I’m a hairdresser so that was very important to me. My shoulder was a little more involved however I was back to work in about 7 - 8 weeks, I’m still healing but nicely. I hope to make a full recovery within 6 months. Thank you again Dr. Kimmerly!

We went to have my sons elbow looked at after he felt he may have tweaked it throwing down to 2B. He has a history of his growth plate separating. Dr. Kimmerly was very personal with regards to understanding our needs.

Dr. Kimmerly provided excellent service and care. He did a great job diagnosing my injury, performing my surgery and developing a rehabilitation plan. He always asked “what would you like to be doing that you can’t right now” to tailor my treatment and be attentive to my preferences.

My son (14 years old) fractured his tibial during an away basketball in Columbus, GA and had to have emergency surgery. After his 1 week post op it was time to follow up with an Orthopedic in our area. The 1st doctor I took him to (CHOA doctor) made us feel very uncomfortable. The appointment was rushed and after being constantly told to bring my son medical records from the hospital before his appointment...it didnt seem as if the doctor read them. Because he kept asking who performed the surgery and where... he would have known that information if he read his medical records prior to his visit. The surgeon that performed my sons surgery informed us he would be non weight bearing for 4 weeks while wearing a knee/leg stabilizer for 6 to 8 weeks. 1 week after his surgery this doctor told my son he can put weight on his leg. After I told him that is not what the surgeon who performed the surgery said he seem to be a bit annoyed and assured me that he knew what he was talking about. I immediately took a mentally note my son and I locked eyes and I knew we was not coming back. The next week I went to Dr. Kimmerly and let me just say it was the best decision I made. Our 1st visit he was very attentive to my son and inform us of what the journey ahead would consists of. Which included continuing non weight bearing for 2 more week...which would end up being 4 weeks as the surgeon told me. I am so glad I went with my instincts and instructed my son not to put weight on his leg until we saw another doctor. Dr. Kimmerly and his PT staff are awesome!!

When I arrived at Peachtree Orthopedic I notice that the environment was very clean. The receptionist was very professional and prompt. In the matter of minutes she had process my paper work and scanned my insurance card. Thirty seconds later I was in my room waiting to be seen by the doctor. Great facility and the hold staff was very friendly and professional.

I truly am grateful for all of the doctors that were in the room during my knee surgery along with Dr. Kimmerly. Had pain in my knees for a coupleofmonths from working.Went to see Dr Kimmerly and he suggested I get the shots. I thought the meds would work better since nothing was broken nor torn. Still had pain for a couple more months. Went back and got the shots, now I feel great. Should have listened the first time

Dr. Kimmerly is an amazing and dedicated surgeon. He remains confident in his ability to fix any problem you may face and leaves you feeling like you are in good hands. Knee injuries are never an easy experience, but he acts as if they are easy to fix and he leaves you believing him.

I was greeted by friendly staff to check me in. Everyone was adhering to the Covid-19 guidelines. Dwayne, I think was his name, checked me in at the counter, and the process was so smooth! I didnt have to wait long at all. He took my co-pay, joked around with me a small bit about my wonderful drive into midtown from the east side, in the rain. We all know that drive from Covington to midtown is usually not a joyous ride, but when you add rain, hard rain at that, would/could normally take 2 hours. Since its the time of Covid-19 traffic, the ride wasnt so bad. His countenance starts the visit to see the orthopedic surgeon in a positive way. He cleaned my drivers license and insurance card with a disinfectant wipe as he handed it back to me. He was very professional, but kept it personal and tried to keep it light to what could have been a stressful one. Im happy to say that he wasnt that way only with me. And I believe the people in the front have one of the most important jobs.It was only 3 or 4 minutes before Laura came to get me. I was prepared with my xray disc of my shoulder. Dr. Kimmerly shortly thereafter. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, and nice. He referred me to get an MRI done and meet after that was done. He is not quick to cut (surgery), and I appreciate that. I dont mind driving far if the service I get when I arrive is great the minute that I arrive at the door, and then the same as when I leave.As I left the office, Dwayne, and I pray thats his name, made sure to give me friendly salutations. I dont always get that at my regular physicians office, so it is important to note when you make someone feel special, and noticed at the Specialists office, especially on their first visit!

I have a lot of repect and admiration for both of my physicians and their staff at Peachtree Orthopedics. Also professional and give the best of care. Very thorough. Ill stay with them always.

Dr. Kimmerlys staff scheduled the appointment expeditiously. Wait time to see Dr. was minimal. Dr. Kimmerly diagnosed ruptured quadricep tendon in the examination room, provided leg brace and I was fitted before walking out. Not looking forward to the surgery, but couldnt be more pleased up to this point. Will post again after the surgery and rehab have been completed for success rating. Steve M

I came to have my knee checked up after receiving a gunshot world 7 months ago. Me personally Im not the biggest fan of doctors at all... From the doctor himself to the entire staff.... My experience was completely satisfying the doctor had awesome bedside manner his assistant was polite very communicative....

The wait was over an hour past my appointment time. The receptionist could not figure out how to verify my insurance. I signed in with my married name AND maiden name (which was on my insurance card. All she had to do was use the name on my insurance card.. Simple. Otherwise, Dr. Kimmerly was patient, caring, assuring, and knowledgeable. I would go again now that my insurance is situated.

Dr. Kimmerly was very attentive and knowledgeable. Great bedside manner! His staff was personable and timely. I have been to this office before, but different provider. He was Impressive. Give me the right diagnosis and follow up treatment plan. I recommend him Completely!

I met with Dr. Kimmerly because of knee pain. Within minutes of being shown into the exam room, I was taken for x-rays. Dr. Kimmerly arrived promptly after that. He did a physical exam of my knee. Since the x-rays showed that everything was fine, we decided to drain the knee and inject cortisone. It is important to note that we decided what to do. He didnt proclaim what he was going to do, he told me what he recommended and then asked me what I wanted to do. Dr. Kimmerly explained that draining and injecting is the first step. If the knee pain and swelling come back, then the next step is to get a MRI. Dr. Kimmerly talked me through the knee draining procedure as he worked, which was reassuring. He is patient and listens well. He made sure that I was ok (needles make me woozy) before he left the room. He also made sure that I understood aftercare for my knee and what to do in the event that the knee pain returns. He is kind, efficient and professional. Although I hope I dont have any more problems with my knee, if I do, I will definitely see Dr. Kimmerly again. Id give him 6 stars if I could!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but Dr. Kimmerly (and the wonderful front office staff) is one of my all-time favorite physicians. He is incredibly compassionate, exceptionally knowledgeable, and treats you like an individual not just another patient. I have the utmost confidence and trust in his advice and medical decisions. It is well worth the hour drive to get there.

My most recent visit to Peachtree Orthopedics was for a banged up ball-socket joint in my right shoulder. I booked an appointment online with Dr. Scott Kimmerly. The online tool is very user friendly. My appointment was set for the next day at 11:00 am, and when I arrived they were on time! Several quick x-rays, a diagnosis by Dr. Kimmerly, a prescription, and a meeting with the physical therapist, and I was finished and out of there by noon. Dr. Kimmerly’s team was prompt, courteous, and professional, across the board. Highly recommended.

Dr Kimberly might be one of the best orthopedists in Atlanta. His knowledge and experience ranges from classic cases to top level athletes. He’s warm, intelligent, and kind. It would be hard to find anyone better.
