I would not recommend this office, especially not for chronic mental illnesses. Not only is the receptionist rude and unhelpful, but they also often don’t pick up the phone during business hours. Dr. Sandra Lake listened the full hour of the first meeting, although did cut me off on multiple instances. After that first appointment, she kept the calls short, about 20 minutes, without taking time to listen or understand the help needed. I had recurring problems with medication, either her sending it to the wrong location, giving brand name instead of generic, or sending the incorrect medication altogether. She was also very inaccessible and the only way to contact her is through the receptionist, who isn’t thorough or receptive. She might be helpful for those with acute illnesses, but not for more complex illnesses. Me being here was not only unhelpful, but served as a large detriment to my mental health and care.

I would not recommend this office at all. I had a 10:20 am appointment and was called at the last minute that she would be late. Waited for 30 minutes and still no show. They did not have any urgency and did not have any consideration of my time.

My partner is a patient of Dr. Lake and so far shes the best, most understanding psychiatrist she has been to. Her progress through her has been something to behold.

I had a little miss understanding with my appointments but Dr. Lake went out of her way to accommodate us.
