Coconut Creek Optical is my home away from home. This family owned business has served my optical needs for a while now. They are professional, efficient and have decades of experience. The frame recommendations made by them are truly unique. I never select my own frames as they know EXACTLY that fits my face, my fancy, and my wallet. During these COVID times, they are properly equipped with masks and the social distancing is in place. Despite being a business for vision, the owners are so personable and relatable it is truly comforting at this juncture in our society. I have recently moved about 4 hours away, and Coconut Creek Optical understood my request for new frames, shipped the glasses in a smash-proof case that was assembled with care. I just received my new glasses today and I am thrilled. Despite living 4 hours away, I WILL make the trek to Coconut Creek as the treatment, expertise and selection is unparalleled in Florida. This is a small operation, where you get treated like a family friend. No hi-pressure sales, only help and support. In our familys case, my son accidentally stepped on a brand new frame. We took it to CCO to see if they could fix it, they REPLACED it at no cost, and with no questions... UNREAL! I am not saying that they will do that every time, but it was a good dose of good-ol small town EXCELLENT service! They have my business for the long term.

I found Coconut Creek Optical on my insurance company website. I made an appointment and they absolutely impressed me. Janice and Rob have been in the eye care business for years and they know what they are doing, real professionals. Dr. Marder is very thorough and got my prescription just right because my glasses are spot on. Rob thought my glasses might take a while because we are right in the middle of holiday season but they were ready in days, and they are perfect, just what I wanted. Excellent service provided by caring professionals, who could ask for anything more.

Reading all the reviews here I can just totally agree with this lady. I had the same, or worst awful experience at this place around 2 months ago. Whoever works with people/clients, they need to be very careful and care about their needs (since you are making money from us) The same guy treated me very nasty when I couldnt find a frame that adjusted to my needs. They always try to sell the most expensive ones and dont care about the situation of each patient. Then, they get upset. I dont recommend this place to anyone and encourage everyone ho has the same experience to share it. No wonder why do you guys have 3 starts here (should be 1)

I had used Coconut Creek Optical for over 30 years and was always satisfied with the care offered by Janice and Rob. They always helped me chose the correct frames for my face not only in style but size for my face. I moved to California three years ago and am having a really difficult time getting fitted properly here. Four different frames later and still not correct. Rob truly knows his business and I really miss his expertise. If you are reading this then you are looking for a place for new glasses don’t miss the opportunity to be serviced by very competent professionals.

Dr. Goldsmith was very nice, but kept getting the prescription wrong! After three eye exams and 6 trips back to pick up my two pairs of glasses it was finally better. Still not perfect. I do NOT recommend!

Went to pick up my glass I could noi see anything .I told Rob Goldsmith and was very nasty then He went back to the room with the glasses y y put I on and not see again.He was very nasty and said I will give you the refund oh the 200.00 dollars a lefted.He did ot give any options.Do no go to that Place ofcourse I wa Spanish he is a pregidi st He should be ckeani g the four He is no professional. He is very very.nasty.I took my debit card and he almost breaks my finger I am going to see a lawyer..I do not recommended that place.He was upset because everything he did was wrong.The lady was nice Janis.He needs another job like cleaning bathroom in a hotel.Very bad experience I was so frustrated an I call him FY first time I said that word.I am 75 years old.

I love this place. It’s down the street and they take care of everyone in the neighborhood. I got two pairs of glasses and contacts from them. There was a problem with one pair and they took care of it immediately with no problem. My prescription is very strong so it happens regularly, and it was a relief to be treated so well when reporting a problem. They’re so friendly. We’ll be coming for all of our eye care needs!

I have been a customer of Coconut Creek Optical for many years. Rob and Janis give amazing customer service! They will spend as much time as you need to make sure you have selected the frames that you want. Then, Rob will take very precise measurements so the lenses will be made exactly the proper way. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the excellent professional service. You may be able to go to a discount place and find something for less money, but you are likely to run into problems there and the product is not as good. The experienced team here is the best, and they will make sure that there are no issues with your glasses. I have recommended them to many people over the years, and each person has become a customer for life.

If you are not using Coconut Creek Optical for you eye glasses you are really missing the boat. I have been wearing glasses for over 40 years and this by far the best optical store I have every worked with. Their service is second to none. They are so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Dont go unless you want to lose a lot of money! Your insurance benefit will be doubled for glasses that are nothing special. I could see better through my old glasses than the new ones. Went back, got a free pair that is useless. The new ones remained the same. Now they are broken. I would not recommend this place. You only have one pair of eyes, and I had a $400 benefit. Charged me $400.34 ABOVE my benefit. Are you kidding?

My husband and I went to coconut creek optical to get glasses for our 1 year old baby girl. Janice and Bob were nice to us at the beginning and once we picked a framed they were pushy for us to get the lenses through them instead of using our insurance, we thought that was a little sketchy but paid no major attention to that. Once they sent the frame to the insurance lab to get the lenses done, the lab lost the frame. We completely understand that was the lab’s fault and not coconut creek optical; however, after 2 weeks of knowing this and not reporting it to us and being requested by the insurance to send another frame and being assured they will get Reimburse for the one they lost, they REFUSED to do it and rejected any calls or possible solutions from the insurance company leaving my baby without glasses just because, I quote Bob’s words “frankly, I want them to look for the frame a little longer” meanwhile my baby is still in need of glasses that we already paid for. In conclusion they don’t care at all about their patients, even when they are little babies that need to see the world around them.I will never recommend anyone to go there.

This place is unbelievable you get quality work quality care and expert people to deal with. Their optician Robert Goldsmith the is very aware of the customers needs and I feel I got a very good eye examination.Janice helped me pick out some frames and to tell you the truth I’ve never decided on a pair of frames so fast. She knew exactly what I wanted and didn’t even know me. When my lens arrivedRob not only put a pair in my new frames but also in my existing frames. Now I have two pair of glasses. I had both of my new glasses in less than a week.If you need your eyes checked and you need new glasses you don’t need to go anywhere else but here, you can tell they’re experts at what they do. This is a great eye care facility. The doctor is very nice and very professional. I recommend him and their team!

I did not even get to visit the location. It is a perfect location as I attend the dentist and dr office right next door. However when I attempted to make an appointment for a family of 4 three weeks from today they refused me. Stated I had to split up the appointments and on do two one day and two another day. This is ridiculous as a mother who works full time kids have after school activities I try to do all doctors appointments in one day. I do not have time to split up. When I asked if this is a personal preference or insurance issue they stated person preference as people have missed appointments and made them wait around for hours. You should not penalize others because your business chose to not take a no show fee or because of others. I would have showed up or cancelled the appointments in a timely manner should things have changed

I have been a customer for many years and am always happy with their service... Even when I have traveled out of state they provided me options to have my prescription mailed to me and always provides me an expected timeframe. I look forward to many more years...... I love Coconut Creek Optical and the great service from the staff.

Robert and the staff of Coconut Creek optical is the best place to go for eye care they treat you like family they are kind, caring, understanding, they make sure you walk out with the right pair of glasses. I couldnt see myself going anywhere else for my eye care.Thanks Coconut Creek optical.

Called on the first of the month to have my prescription sent to a new eye doctor (I moved states). At the end of the week, I had called to confirm my prescription was faxed, it was not sent. I requested to please fax the prescription again and a few days later found that it was not received by my new eye doctor. Needless to say it has been 10 days since I called the original time. Very frustrating to order $300 glasses and not be able to wear them, especially when you have an office job and wearing contacts every day becomes uncomfortable. Still in the process of having them fax my information. Communication was very poor, despite the fact I have had to call 5 times. Would have been nice to receive a call back from them confirming the sent prescription, or better, a call to the new eye doctor so that I would not have to keep interrupting my work scheduled to be the middle-man.
