I heard about dr. Paxson and his wife from a friend. I like the idea of concierge medical service. Went today to discuss a medical issue. I cant believe how amazing this is. First, the intake process feels more like friends. Second, the doctor spent over an hour and a half with me (when was the last time a doctor spent an hour-and-a-half with you for any reason?). But, it was actually quality time where he would ask a series of questions and truly try to consider everything. He jump to no conclusions and wanted to get some baseline tests. This is probably the best doctors office Ive ever been to In My Life. Also, this concierge process is definitely the way of the future and it beats out any other version especially when you have medical bureaucracies and ridiculous Insurance to deal with. They even give you a cell phone number to call if you have any questions outside of office hours. And, by the time I got out of the office with the doctor, they had searched a list of tests and cash prices available for me. I would highly recommend this concept this office and this doctor.

Dr. Paxson has been both my wife and my personal general physician for many years. When he decided to go “concierge”, my wife immediately signed up while I waited a while. After seeing how much more responsive and personal the care she received was than when he was with a large (and greedy) local “health care” company, i also signed up. It was the best thing I ever did for my health and sense of well being! No more waiting for weeks or even days to be seen! No more office visit copays! No more LONG waits in the office along with other patients due to corporate mandates to over-book patients for more money!... only to have 10-15 minutes of time with Doc because of daily patient quotas!!! No more going to an emergency walk-in clinic at night or on weekends, or even on vacation when a simple phone call at any hour (for emergency situations of course) will provide preliminary diagnosis and care advice. No more second guessing about scheduling and specialist referrals as Connie wastes no time in making all of that happen!... All of that is a thing of the past and the personal follow up and effort she makes to insure things are right and nothing is missed is just incredible.Happy patient for life and good health!!:-)
