Dr. Shung is great. The prices are great. But, the front desk staff is unfriendly and unaccommodating. The staff seems like they do not want to do the work they are supposed to be doing. My first experience was with a staff member who I gave my health insurance information to, and for whatever reason could not find my account and told me I had to call. I had let her know I gave the same information to my dentist and they were able to find me so I was not sure why she couldn’t. I told her that I also work in an office and it is a part of your job to call and run health insurance. After I told her this, she was able to find me. I had another experience with rescheduling an appointment. They rescheduled me for the following week because no other times/dates were available, which was fine. But, I asked if their were any cancellations could they let me know. The staff said they were “too busy” and I will have to call everyday to check. Again, I work in an office. It is as simple as leaving a sticky note at your desk with a note saying to call this person in case of a cancellation. It’s a people business, you want your staff to provide exceptional service so that your business can be recommended, and this is definitely not it. I feel like I should have just paid more at Thurman Orthodontics or Mavericks for the better service.

My daughter just got braces and Im happy with the out come not long wait time they are nice the price not to bad I liked it.

Great orthodontist and friendly staff. Unfortunately not always open at this office Monday through Friday but still a great place to get braces. Was forced to come here because their closer preferred office was closed so now I have to travel further than I originally planned. Still same friendly staff though, so thats one posative.

Front office staff is very unprofessional. Im actually sitting in the waiting room right now and was not greeted with a hello or good afternoon...just a snap do you have an appointment? Oookaaayy. Ladies are so loud and are discussing patient details aloud to where the people in the waiting room can hear. Patient privacy much? Not to mention the lady in the back desk is on her cell phone. Will NOT be returning!!
