Wonderful place for kids hair cut recommend highly

First time at this place for my boy. He cried the whole time but Im getting the feeling is him, not the stylist.I give it 4 starts because we call to see if they were open and if they take walk-ins, they say they do and so we went in that exact moment only to find out that there were 3 or 4 kids with appointments before us.I get it, appointments are priority, but then the lady shouldve told me they were busy and that it will be better to make an appointment rather than wait almost 1 hour.Other than that, the place is really clean, kids get to watch a movie ir cartoons while getting their haircut and at the end they get a balloon and a lollipop.$20 bucks + tips, might see a bit pricey but we are paying for service and experience and overall, have someone else deal with our little angles when they dont want to cooperate.

Super nice staff. Our kids love the haircut seats that are cars. They get to watch cartoons. Get a lollipop afterwards. Little play area with a railroad track. Video games for older kids in the bigger seats. Theres more I could list but that covers most of it.

We love it here. The ladies are amazing with my 2 boys (3&4) they are very professional and polite. The shop is clean and they also have a lottle play area for the kids. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.

After 6 visits to this establishment, I feel like I have a good grasp on the place.We will not be going back.My sons first haircut was here (2015) and we had no problems. He didnt care for the clippers due to the vibration, the stylist worked so well with him. I thought it was pricey ($17 or $18 back then) but the environment is what we were after.Second hair cut was ATROCIOUS. We took him back to have it fixed and I have to imagine the gals super long nails totally scared him. She did fix his hair, but she caused us an immense amount of anguish and tears as we could not take him ANYWHERE for hair cuts without screaming. We were forced to buy a set of clippers and one of us restrained him while the other took the clippers to his hair in the garage. All we could do was hope and pray none of our neighbors would call child services on us due to all of the screaming.After 2.5 years of garage haircuts (twice a year was all we could stomach) we gave this place another try. Turns out he lost his anxiety.3rd haircut was no problem.My husband took our 5.5 year old yesterday and I have no idea what the hell this lady was looking at while she cut my sons hair, but it was appalling. His bangs were completely uneven, sideburns didnt match each other, a bald spot on the nape of his neck, hair still touching his ears and SEVERAL strands of hair around the crown of his head that were still long.I called and complained. She left a note for the manager...who happened to be the one who cut his hair! THAT is your MANAGERS work? Yeah...Im out.I did take him back in and she successfully fixed everything except the sideburns. She blamed his cowlick for the mess that was his bangs. She blamed a lack of hair on his right temple for the sideburns looking completely different from each othe . Thats interesting...I have ZERO training and have never had a problem with his sideburns being uneven.I really shouldnt have to walk you through making his hair even. Come on.Ill take my $25.25 (tip included) elsewhere and get far better results.

Krista is the best! Patient with our son who has severe anxiety and does a great job every time! He absolutely loves getting his hair cut now and looks forward to it?

Love this place. I have been taking my son here for years. He hated getting a haircut til he came here. They are patient and work with child to make him feel comfortable and relaxed.

This place is AMAZING for any child, my son is super squirmy and wont sit still, he doesnt like people touching his hair, but the employees here are trained to work with children and they do an amazing job with his hair cut as much as he moves around awesome chairs and a small play area as well! Highly recommended...

Worst ever experience. Took my 7 month old for first hair cut. Very bad service. Did not do any effort at all to make child comfortable. Very rude to parents. Unprofessional. No work ethics. Looks like they don’t want to do it.

Love the service! Maria cuts my kids hair as well as mine. I figured if she could cut my childrens hair great, why not mine. Maria is very friendly, professional, and always gets the cut right the first time. I have also witnessed pointless times when she has gone out of her way to make sure that a child feels welcome, comfortable, and enjoys their time while getting their hair cut.

This is an awesome idea, however they have trouble keeping their stylist employed to either quit or get fired as soon as my kids get used to them. I was really impressed with their service at first but now its quantity over quality. They dont do a very good job of engaging the customer or their children. they also seem to rush through the haircuts. The cars are cool dont get me wrong but it just seems a little pricey for a mediocre haircut by a person who looks ungroomed and appears to be unhappy with life.

I have only been here twice and both times my kids ended up with horribly uneven haircuts. I took them once as infants - didn’t go back for 2 years (thinking new people would be cutting their hair so I would try it again for the cute atmosphere). Another horrible experience. Now I’m going to have to take him somewhere else to correct it. Ugh. Waste of $25.

Took in my 2 almost 3 year old for her first hair cut it was an awesome experience my baby had a great time it was worth the higher price. They cut it exactly how I wanted it. Definitely bringing her back.

This is a great place to get my kids hair cut. They have fun games, movies, books, etc. to help entertain the kids and my girls LOVE the glitter and facepaint when theyre done. The haircuts are awesome. The only drawback is the wait. Even with an appointment, it took 1 hour, from entry to exit, to cut one childs hair. But she sure did love it!

I do not ever expect for an employee to be rude to me. When they are it is not acceptable. I do not ever expect to be scolded or insulted because the employee has thin patience. I am in customer service and I would never insult and antagonize a customer. Anyways Im never going back here. These hairstylistss need to remember that without customers the business fails and closes and they have to find another barber shop. Every time i see my son I 😢 because I would go here to ensure my son had a good experience. Ill be going to Corkys from now on.

This is the only place my son actually likes to get a hair cut at. They have a bunch of Xbox 360s to keep him occupied while he gets his hair cut. The customer service is a little hit and miss, sometimes great other times not so great. Prices are a bit higher than other places, $20, but its worth the price. I came in as a walk in today and was lucky to get him in right away. But that is generally not the norm. Call a day or two in advance to schedule an appointment. We tried calling this morning to book an appointment and they were full.

Had a very un-inviting and rude first visit into cool cuts. When I walked in nobody greeted us for over a couple minutes then when an employee finally noticed all 3 of us waiting she was quick to try and brush us away and and not offer us any help. We had traveled 18 miles to cool cuts and were very excited to be there but the employee made us feel a quick turn around. She was very unhelpful and made us feel like we were being a burden coming in to get our son’s first haircut. I expect better from such a children friendly place, would not want a grinch like her cutting my sons hair now anyways

Friendly staff but she cut my grandsons neck in three different places! NOT A HAPPY GRANDMA! Would not recommend!

I went in to get my sons a haircut for his 3rd b-day...let me just say..i wanted to cry.I had taken my son here twice before and they had done a good job , but this last time was horrible.I asked for a comeover and the lady who cut his hair cut it short from the bottom upon my request but left a big patch of hair in the top ???? I couldnt believe it!!!She wasn2 able to blend the top to the bottom . Lets just say my son looked awkward. She took at least 20 min trying to fix it. We were leaving the place and went back because the back was absolutely uneven. She somewhat fixed it.Lets just say i wont be going here again.

Horrible customer service! My husband and I stumbled upon this shop with our three kids who needed haircuts. We walked in and waited for a few minutes before an elderly african american woman came up to help us. I told her we had between 1 and 3 haircuts we needed (there was only two of them and the other one was having a really hard time with a little boy and I wasnt sure what time they closed). The woman was horribly rude, condescending, didnt smile at all. I explained to her that I was trying to be flexible and have just one cut done because she seemed overwhelmed. She continued her bad attittude acting like we were putting her out. As we walked out I told her I couldnt believe she could be so unprofessional and rude and still work there or anywhere. She turned around in the middle of my comment and walked away. Not sure if shes hired help or the manager/owner. Either way, we wont ever go back. Corkys Cuts for Kids is now open in Clovis and we had great experiences there when they were in Fresno so go there instead!!!!

The staff at cool cuts are very friendly and they always cut my daughters hair exactly how we want it.

I havent even taken my toddler here and just by the way the lady answered the phone was a big disappointment. Not even a hello or thank you. Some lady answered and sounded like she hates her job and I decided not to even book an appt there just phone customer service over the phone.
