I have been using Snodgrass Family Eye Care since 2010 and I can not think of a better place to go. They are the nicest kindest people. They give you excellent attention and really help you understand everything about your precious eyesight. I highly recommend them.

I’ve been in customer service since 1988, and I usually don’t write a review, but this has to be one of the friendliest environments I’ve been in from the optometrist to looking for frames, the entire staff is helpful and friendly. I know where the family and I will be going for now on.

It is so nice to be able to leave my glasses on when reading. I went to Snodgrass Eyecare for the first time. I have always needed to take my glasses of to read even though they were no line bifocals. This prescription is so spot on I no longer have to keep putting them on and off. I love them. The staff and the Dr. were so nice. Because my glasses were so different for the one eye from my last glasses he took the time to retest to make sure he was correct. He puts the care of the patient first rather than then doing a quick exam so he can get another one in. Would suggest them to anyone and everyone.

I was referred to Snodgrass Family Eyecare by four different people over the last several years! Everyone raved about how great they were. On the spur of the moment, I decided I wanted to get in for an eye exam. I e-mailed them and had a response within hours and an appointment set for the next day. Amber with the front desk e-mailed me new patient forms so I could complete them ahead of time. She was so kind on the phone and in person! Dr. Snodgrass immediately put me at ease and was extremely friendly. Im a bit of an introvert, but didnt feel any awkwardness at all. It was like talking to an old friend. Dr. Snodgrass took a look at my glasses and said they were still in great shape and because my prescription showed little change, said I technically didnt need to get new glasses. I loved his honesty. Others might have tried to push a sale. I was just very impressed overall.

Dr. Jane is by far the best optometrist I have ever been to! She takes her time to completely explain everything she is doing and why she is choosing to do what she is. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about her job, and you can tell she really cares. If your looking for a nice, professional, caring office look no further. This is the place to go!

Amazing Dr’s and their staff are equally as amazing! We are so impressed with Snodgrass Family Eyecare, and the level of customer service that they provide, especially Amber! You can tell the Dr’s care about their patients and the staff goes out of their way to help. I rarely give 5 stars, but I have to say, they are top notch and deserve a 5 star rating!

I established care at Snodgrass Eyecare a couple months ago and was very impressed with how fast they got me in for an appointment, how thorough the optometrist is, and the kind service provided by all of the staff. I had been dealing with blurry and double vision for quite some time, even after seeing other optometrists, and the prescription I received has made a tremendous difference. Dr. Snodgrass took his time examining my vision and eyes and I felt that my visit was comprehensive and educational. I am excited to continue going here!

Dr. Jane Snodgrass was my very first eye doctor when I was a child, and after a brief stint with another eye doctor a few years after I was an adult with my own insurance, I found my way back to Dr. Snodgrass. Friendly, helpful doctors and staff.Doctors are informative and take time to explain tests and results. Office has the latest up to date equipment.Prescription is given to you with no pressure to purchase glasses from them. But they have a large selection and very competetive prices, and they worked with my insurance coverages to get me the best price. I felt the staff gave honest, helpful answers about which frame worked best for my face and prescription.

Dr. Jane Snodgrass is my Optometrist. She is AMAZING!!! Very thorough. I feel confident, even with slow growing cataracts and dry eye, that Im in the right hands. She will let me know when its time to see an Opthalmologist. Ive always had an accurate refraction from her, also. Dr. Jane is also very personable and has the most amazing memory. She actually cares about her patients and their families.

I just had my annual exam at Snodgrass Family Eyecare and great service as always. There was no waiting and everything is explained to you about your eyes. Being new to Iowa I found myself in a position of needing to find a new eye doctor. In less than one day I was able to call Snodgrass Family Eye care and get an appointment the next day.All the staff was very professional and willing to take the time to help me ensure that everything that needed to be done with my insurance was completed.Dr. Snodgrass very knowledgeable and spent plenty of time going over my exam results. He took the time to provide three different options and did not try to push me into any one choice.The office was very clean and looks brand new, plenty of parking.My first visit was great and i would highly recommend Dr. Snodgrass and his staff.

I recently switched vision insurance through my company, so I was in search of a new provider. I had not heard of Snodgrass Eyecare, but found them to be extremely convenient to my place of work. I walked in to find very friendly faces - and super helpful, too! Picking out glasses, especially by yourself, can be daunting since its always nice to have a second opinion. The women there were so helpful and were very honest about what they thought looked good, and not so good with my face. They ordered my glasses, and they arrived very quickly (they did expedite the process as I was leaving out of town). I have gone to Dr. Jane for many years. It is obvious she loves what she does. She is very thorough, knowledgable, and friendly. The office staff is also very nice and helpful. I recommended her to my parents and now they use her for all of their vision needs.

I enjoyed my eye exam and working with the doctor to figure out the best type of contacts to use. I have an astigmatism so it can be difficult at times to find contacts that work well. I was able to try some trial pairs for 2 weeks. I tried the monthly kind, and got to try the daily contacts to see which ones worked best for me before I purchased anything.Kevin worked with me and was extremely friendly at the visits I had. I thought it was nice to see a Dr with a sense of humor also. It can me a little dull at doctors offices at times so it was nice to see a Dr who wasnt so stuffy and serious.

I have been going to Snodgrass Family Eye Care ever since moving back to the Des Moines metro area five years ago. The service is outstanding, and everything about the condition of your eyes is thoroughly and professionally explained. I purchased some new frames there last year, and they have a good selection of styles to choose from. I highly recommend them.

I saw their high rating and decided to give them a try when I needed new glasses. Im glad I did. Their customer service is great. Many times when I leave a retailer Im just glad the experience is over. Not this time. The people at Snodgrass Eyecare were more worried about what I needed rather than the usual upselling I experience. Our family has been going to Snodgrass Family Eyecare since moving to Urbandale in 2014. I feel that we top of the line eye care. Not only did we feel we received excellent professional care from the doctor; my son received a lot of individualized attention from the staff who were trained to assist him with fitting contact lenses.The fact that they put up with me on multiple visits to pick out my frames says a lot about their patience with patients!!!!

Very impressed overall. Dr Snodgrass Remembered details about my care and my life from over a year and a half before. This is unheard of. She was able to remember the random reason I came in last time and why i got new glasses when i did, etc. I mean more so than just the basic notes on her computer program about my overall visit. I was truly blown away. I am not an easy shopper and i think i have tried on all pairs of frames each time i have been looking for new ones and they were more than accommodating. I will gladly come back. The warranty on the items they do carry make it almost worth it alone, but the over all experience is something that few places will ever come close to matching in todays day and age.

I had a good experience. I have been putting off going to an eye doctor for years, and a couple of years ago I submitted. I was told at the time that eventually my arms would be too short and I would need some form of help. I have been using cheaters/reading glasses for a few years and decided I was tired of misplacing them and not knowing where they were. Yesterday at my appointment I mentioned this and Dr. Jane suggested using a chain; nope, not for me. I refuse to d that. So we discussed contacts. I am trying those out, but what I liked was that she was not pushy. It was my decision.
