I highly recommend Lindsey, she and her staff are very professional. I had a bad experience at a different dentist and they made me comfortable and were very understanding. Also if you have an extream issue they will recommend an oral surgeon, they understand that everyone has their specialities and what is most important is for you to have the best care for your teeth. 5 stars

We have been seeing Dr. Hove for 8 years and every visit is timely & professional. Dr. Hove and her staff take the tine to listen and make you feel at ease. Our three kids just had their teeth cleaned this week and they were actually excited about going to the dentist! Dr. Hove is great with kids! We would highly recommend Dr. Hove and the Hove Family Dental staff!!

Modern and clean building and exceptional service. The administrative staff is extremely helpful, flexible and kind. I have never had any issues in scheduling or rescheduling an appointment or with insurance or billing. Dr. Hove is knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. She takes her time during my appointment to completely address my questions or concerns. I highly recommend Hove Family Dental, they are the best!

Hove Family Dental is the best dental office I have visited. The staff is super friendly and professional. They are efficient and thorough in their work and my appointments have always been on time.The office is very modern and always very tidy and clean.It is definitely worth traveling a few extra miles for such a high standard of care.

Dr. Hove and her team are simply the best. Very attentive, professional and caring. She recently helped my Father with an abscessed tooth that needed attention immediately. She was able to see him within 24 hours and had a plan to help him and ease my worry within the day. Thank you!!!

I was new to the Des Moines area and was referred to Dr. Hove by several people. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and the whole staff. I have continued going to Dr. Hove for my bi-annual cleanings and have always been treated with warmth and received top notch care.

Modern facility with amazing staff! Doctor Hove and the hygienists are master of comfort and care for the whole family. My 8 year old son had to have a cavity filled and needed the needle to numb his gum and Doctor Hove was able to put him at ease and get the offending hole filled without tears. Also, we have been seen with in minutes of the scheduled appointment.Great Team!

Dr. Hove is friendly and a great listener. She genuinely cares about her patients and you feel like youre her only patient when shes with you. Worst dental experience ever!! First of all, I was told I had 9 cavities. Yes I hadnt seen a dentist in 2 years, but I brush and floss regularly that didnt seem possible. Against my better judgment I continued to go and get them all filled. First appointment went fine, by the book. Second time was horrendous. My entire life I have needed extra lidocaine/whatever numbing agent they use. I told them that from the get go. I will always pay more to not feel it. As she started to drill I told her I needed more and she said I had already had my allotted amount. I felt a majority of that procedure, and literally had tears falling down my face. After it was over, the dental hygienist (Emily) told me to see a doctor about some anxiety medication or at least to get some for when I come to the dentist. Excuse me youre not even a real doctor??? you hand the dentist tools???? You shouldnt be telling me what medication to go on. I felt judged every time I walked through that door and knew they cared more about the money than your actual health. Dr.Hove and the other women I encountered were just simply mean. They had snarky comments, rude facial expressions, and shouldnt be in a customer service field. Find the other review on here that says Dr.Hove told that patient she had more cavities than other dentists said she had, proving to me they are all about the money.

Best dental experience ever... these ladies are the greatest! had cavities in the past with negative experiences, so i was slightly nervous about a couple i had to get filled. but these gals communicated through it all and were very gentle and caring. great new modern facility that makes you feel at home. would recommend them to anyone!

If you schedule an appointment make sure you take it upon yourself to call ahead before taking off of work to make it. Apparently no one in the office can pick up a phone to tell patients that their appointment needs to be rescheduled because the dentist went on vacation. My husband took off work to make his appointment and left the dental office after encountering rude staff who didnt even offer an apology, just more excuses. To make matters worse, this was the second incident where he took off work, checked in to his appointment, then was told hed have to reschedule because his dentist was not available that day. Lazy, rude, unprofessional office. They need to do better or close up shop.

If I could give negative stars I would. Called ahead to see if my insurance was in network with them and was kindly told they were. Turns out it wasn’t. When I got the services she told me I had cavities, but upon a new dentists inspection I was told I had no cavities. She charged me a ridiculous amount for a tooth cleaning and was extremely rude when I called to figure out what was going on. I wouldn’t recommend Hove family dentistry to anyone, ever. Unless you want to deal with rude and snarky comments, false claims, and unjust charges.

I called and tried to get an appointment but the admin. assistant was very rude and not helpful at all. I got the impression that they are not interested in new customers.

Rude service. I would not recommend.
