He actually cares.....so much better than going to the health department. Hes always been tough, but, fair, and you dont have to jump through a million hoops that impact your job negatively. Other places use the medication to control your every move and in my opinion, that is not the best way for successful treatment to work.

Went to this doctor with high hopes, I tried Zubsolv (suboxone) for about 2 months, these medications may work for some people but I could not stop using, using Zubsolv. I asked about trying methadone maintenance and his response was” I would not give methadone to my dying dog”. Obviously the kick backs from the drug companies clouded his mind. I stopped seeing him and started Methadone maintenance treatment at Remedies with success immediately, I’m over 6 years clean. If I had not found a MMT center I’m sure I’d be dead by now. Not to mention how expensive Zubsolv is and they don’t offer any group therapy or counseling which is about as important as finding the right dose of the correct medication for you. I’m not at all saying not seek help with this doctor because it may work for you, it just didn’t work for me.

He accepts most insurances, including Medicare, United healthcare and Tricare, he definitely does not accept Iowa Medicaid and Blue cross blue shield.

Dr osaro is the most inexpensive doctor in the entire 1000 mile area, once you build a trust with him, he actually cares for your well being, and recovery,I would recommend him to anyone who is struggling, and needs help with addiction, he has changed my life for the better, and you actually see there is light at the end of the tunnel.

He is a money hungry qwack. Those 5 star reviews are fake. And for suboxone he is not the best there is. He dies not care about the person. I would not go to him if you can find anyone better. He has been sued among other things. Do so research!!!!!!!

Dr. Osaro is a caring and compassionate doctor. Traits that are, quite frankly, rare in this day of cattle herding medicine. Each patient has a name, each name has a face and each face has a story and I believe Dr. Osaro recognizes this. I thank God for directing me to this doctor and I will continue to pray for Dr. Osaro in his unwavering efforts to help his patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Osaro for almost three years. I live in Rockford, IL, and I drive over 200 miles every month just to see him. Although there are Opioid treatment centers and doctors in Rockford, I travel to see Dr. Osaro because he and his staff is the best. He is a friendly, caring person and has taken on the very hard mission of healing those with Opioid sickness. He treats you as thoughtfully as a member of his family, he genuinely cares about his patients, and the cost is negligible vs. the costs associated with using. If you have a drug addiction and need help, Dr. Osaro will see you, he wont make you jump through hoops, and he will give you the tools that you need to recover from this very serious illness. The people on here that have given bad reviews either have not tried, relapsed, and/or not taken the medicine correctly. There is no magic pill. Without the will to quit and a recovery plan you might as well not even bother. If you have those things though, Dr. Osaro is by far the best doctor in the stateline area to see!

Out of EVERY suboxone doctor in the STATE OF IOWA...Dr. Osaro is by far the CHEAPEST/ MOST AFFORDABLE. Ive been to 3 different doctors, leaving each one due their high prices. Ive done the research and he IS the most affordable. Ive been seeing Dr. Osaro for a total of about 3 years for suboxone maintainance. His practices and program has saved my life, sculpted me into a better person. Lead a normal life where im able be there for my unborn child and provide for both my baby daughter and fiancé. All these ridiculous comments about Dr. Osaro being negligent, that theres malpractice and just all the other negitive comments I see are absolutely absurd. Hes the one combating the opiate crisis, not aiding it. Theres a story behind each negitive comment..like the one comment about the heart attack, blaming Dr. Osaro is totally wrong. You arent a doctor, you dont know what pre-existing conditions or undisclosed problems or medications the person didnt/forgot to inform the Dr. about. He does his job. Hes saved probably dozens of lives, hes definitely saved more then hes lost. All doctors loose a patient, all doctors make mistakes, but doctors are people just like you and I. Any mistakes hes made, Im sure hes learned from. Hes always been great to me, he has an amazing spirit and his mood is so uplifting. I highly recommend this doctor.

I find it strange Dr. Osaro suddenly has seven 5 star reviews in the last year. He is a horrible doctor. Almost killed my father by giving him medication for E. coli when he did not have E. coli. That medication gave him an heart attack. He has several lawsuits against him for negligence. He can’t take Medicaid/Medicare and most insurances because he was overcharging them. He also used to hand out opioids and suboxone like candy causing much of the opioid epedimic in Clinton. I would never take a loved one or family member there especially one that has a chronic illnesses.
