All three of my children have come here and now both my wife and I. They accept a wide variety of insurance. Everyone is nice and the office is well run. The negative reviews are kind of surprising.

Scheduled an appointment, waited two weeks. Showed up and that is when the decided to tell me that they didnt take my insurance. Tried saying they called and left a message but no voicemails on my phone were left. What a waste of time.

I’m totally surprised about all the bad reviews, my husband and I had and still have the best experience ever. Dr. Chu es very professional, and her staff too. Always do a great job with my cleaning and when she couldn’t do one of my tooth (a bad root canal from another dentist) she referred me to another doctor.I have been in 3 different offices over the years and by far this is the best one.

We had a dental emergency in April. Called up the service and the dr called back. Just to tell us she was not seeing anyone including emergencies. She didnt refer us to anyone who can see us or even give pain medicine in the meantime while we search for a dentist. Spoke to us like we were annoying her. Mind u we have been patients for over 7 years.

I’ve had two extractions done there. Vivian Chu is all about the $. No Compassion. Was rude and belittling. She found out that I had 6 cavities. A Deep Cleaning that needed to be done along with two implants After the Extractions . Total was $10,200. I’m like yea, let me talk to an Adult. Seems like she wants to pay off her Maserati quick, Vivian why don’t you retire?. And stop abusing your patients with your made up Prices. I went to Little Falls Family Dentistry. Your Price vs The Price Little Falls Family Dentistry gave me? $2,087.00Beat that Vivian.! People take your business elsewhere. Only thing worth my attention was the two Arcade Machines in the waiting room

Staff was not nice. They give you appointments during rush hour. If you are 10 minutes late, and they are cheking in other patients (they were obviously overbooked as they checked in 3 people before i was turned away) they tell you to re-schedule...there seems to be a trend with this medical offices where they act as if they are doing you a favor, when in reality you are walking in there because you booked a service that insurance companies never pay in full and much of it comes out of the pocket of the patient...never going back again.

Dr Chu is great! She’s calm, quick and honest. Definitely recommend!

I was a patient for 9 years at this office, And this was the first time I had an emergency, I lasted 1 week calling under pain medication I showed up to the office and the doctor herself answered the phone herself just to tell me she could not attend to me because she was too busy, she said she will add me to a waiting list. I left disappointed after so many years and I don’t plan to return. My entire family are their patients under our medical plan. The doctors name is Vivian Chu

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Vivian Chu for over four (4) years now and the experiences have always been outstanding. Shes extremely sweet, professional and doesnt rush you out of the door. Luckily weve never had any major issues so our experiences have been with items such as bi-annual teeth cleaning, teeth whitening and the creation of a nightly mouth guard.The front staff as well as the dental assistances are also great. We never have an issues scheduling appointments, we get taken to the back moments upon arriving for our appointments and check-out is a breeze.

Love this doc love the orthodontist too. been going to this place for 4 years now. had my braces done there. the docs is the best. ease of getting appts. and I always ask for vaseline and they always give me :) before we start anything. docs does great cleanings

If I could leave zero stars I would. Dr. Vivian Chiu is a money hungry sadistic heartless evil dentist from hell. I dont know why the name of the practice is called apprehensive patient? Oh yeah cause you will be after dealing with her. She tells you to open your mouth and all goes downhill from there. She starts performing dental procedures without telling you anything. My heart was beating so fast. She didnt care I felt pain and just kept on going. She wanted to pull all my teeth out and said it like it was nothing! It is nothing to her! I was horrified and had nightmares that night and cried my eyes out! I will never ever see that woman again! If I see her in the street I will turn the other way. All she cares is charging my insurance for procedures. Boy! Did she charge! You best believe I will be writing to the dental board and any place I can! You didnt do jack so continue to try and collect more money from me and my insurance. Karma will get you! I already warned my insurance about you! All future payments will be denied. I am contacting the better business bureau as well and report you for fraud! I will not be intimidated by you! You will not get jack from me. I dont care about my credit so dont threaten me!

Dont go here unless you want to be taken advantage of! I went too see them for a broken filling I broke while flossing, Dr. Vivian Chu was nice but as another reviewer said, she is money hungry! Tried to tell me I needed two root canals with posts & crowns which would cost...(are you sitting down?) $4,600.00!!! Then, asked her, OK lets pull one tooth & do a root canal on the other...$2,500.00.... Well, i just returned from Dr Knapps office in Fair lawn and all I needed was a filling....total cost $180....huge difference huh? Apprehensive patient should be ashamed of themselves! (Thank god I got a second opinion) taking advantage of hard working people who are trying to get ahead just to fill their own pockets. To think I almost let them pull out teeth! Shame on you!

Worse experience ever... they scheduled me for an appointment at 4:30pm then I get there 5 minutes after and they said that they couldnt take my films or service. If they close at 4:30pm why is it that the website say they close at 6pm? Plus the doctor was rude. Ill be taking my business elsewhere. 👋🏼

Stay away from this place, they are just money angry and very unprofessional. I went for a check up and consultation for a molar implant. The dentist that saw me, was very dismissive and didnt explain nor indicate the best solution. He just wanted to take two teeth out!I came out feeling upset and not satisfied. Went to another dentist, who overturned the previous diagnosis entirely and saved my tooth.Draw your own conclusion...

I literally woke up today with a terrible toothache. Ive been putting it off too long to see a dentist because of my horrific past experiences with other dentist. A good friend of mines recommended Dr. Chiu D.D.S. and Dr.Kantor D.M.D. I was in and out in about an hour and half tops. Dr. Chiu was very personable and explained my X-rays in terms I could understand. She along with her whole staff are very kind and so welcoming. Once I decided on extraction I was introduced to Dr. Evan Kantor, he was called in for my emergency case and was there in half hour. He reassured me that he doesnt commence any work until he is totally sure Im completely numbed. This man worked like a pro. I felt nothing but the obvious pressure that comes with extracting a tooth but ZERO pain. I will keep this dental team forever.

I not only recommed the Pollar Dental Group, but I would also like to highly recommed Dr. Juliya Khodak. As a patient who is by far the biggest coward, Dr. Khodal takes the time to get to know her patients AND lets her patients get to knw her. My experience with Dr. Khodal took over 4 months from start to finish. During my numberous visits, I was never left waiting in the waiting room. I never had to wait in the Dentis Chair due to double booking. Dr. Khodal realizes that your time is just as important as her time, she therefore only books one person at a time and respects your time. Dr. Khodak is quick, knowledgeable--so bring your questions; she will answer them. I was never in pain during any of my procedures. I would and will specifically ask for Dr. Khodak for any future denta work that I may need. She takes the fear out of going to the dentist.

Went there thought I was seeing an oral surgeon Dr Kantor proceeded to tell me it was a simple extraction with my dentist that I need an oral surgeon said it was no problem simple extraction as he stood on my chest and I passed out three times from the pain never experienced anything like this in my life he was the worst dentist I ever met the most pain I’ve ever felt in my life I still have nightmares!!!!!!!

Just dealing with them on the phone is hard enough.

The cleaning was subpar and the hygienist never even bother to polish...this is a first coming from NYC. Also the dentist (dont recall name) made several analysis errors.

I went there without an appointment , i was greated well and my wait time was shorter than expected, 10 min, the quality of work exceeded my expectations and cost actually surprised me .I would recommend them to anybody
