I took my puppy here for a checkup after noticing his butt really stunk (TMI, but it’s true!) & the entire staff was very welcoming, willing to converse & answer/all questions I had! The receptionist, techs & vet were awesome! After some discussion with my significant other, we have mutually decided that our fur babe will definitely be a regular patient at Emerald Animal Hospital!

Had my first appointment scheduled incorrectly due to the receptionist that was fired. Then was scheduled two months out just to have that appointment canceled as well. It’s unfortunate how I hear good things about this place but yet no accommodations can be made ever.

Ive been coming here for 3 years. I first came when my cat carter got sick. They were so good with him and my other cats. They answered all my questions and were very Patient with me after my carter passed away.

I have been coming here for roughly 2 years and each visit is great! I just came in for my seniors yearly check up with some concerns. Dr. Lindsay checked her out and I have nothing but good things to say. I had lots of questions and concerns. Each answer was honest and in best interest for my dog and I. We love coming here and all staff is great!!!

You cant beat Emerald, theyre the best! 10/10 for price, quality of care and overall treatment! I am a first time pet owner and was extremely impressed with my experience - Id recommend this clinic to anyone. The staff was very efficient and comprehensive with everything they did for me. Dr. Marietti took her time explaining everything and was very through with her take home instructions/prescriptions. The staff here really takes the time to understand each unique pet and give them the best care they can. I am also very impressed with the bargain I got from this clinic! I walked out of there with a physical examination, 3 different prescriptions and a quality teaching from the doctor about my dogs behaviors for under $100. If you go to Emerald, you wont be sorry!

Today I had the best vet experience at Emerald. Dr. Marietti is THE BEST vet I have ever encountered. She was so informative and explained everything that was going on with my fur baby in full detail. I really appreciated her attention to detail and caring nature. I am so thankful I found her and I will be coming to her from now on. They also were very efficient with time here and let me know all the price breakdowns beforehand so there were no surprises. All the staff I encountered were so nice as well. I am beyond satisfied with the care my kitty received here!

We have been going to Emerald for around a year now. We had been struggling to find an affordable, thorough, and caring vet since we moved to Cleveland 4 years ago. We have nothing but great things to say about them! They take care of our pets like their own, often times going above and beyond for them. The staff members at Emerald are always kind and informative.

THE GIRLS WERE VERY SWEET AND GAVE US TIME TO SAY GOOD BYE, I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE CONTACTED THAT DAY TO LET ME KNOW IF A TOX SCREEN COULD BE DONE, AND WE WOULD HAVE GIZ BACK IN 2-3 DAYS. NO CALL THAT DAY, OR NEXT, SO FINALLY FRIDAY I CALLED, AND HAD TO LEAVE NAME & NUMBER SAID THEY WOULD CALL ME BACK. STILL NO CALL. MONDAY MORNING I CALLED UPSET. WAS TOLD NO. NO TOXICOLOGY COULD BE DONE, I THEN ASKED OK, WHERE IS MY GIZ? FIRST I WAS TOLD THAT HE WOULD BE SENT FOR CREMATION THIS THURSDAY BECAUSE THEY PICK UP/DROP OFF ON MONDAY & THURSDAY/// UMM.. I DROPPED HIM OFF ON WEDS... THE GIRL PUT ME ON HOLD, CAME BACK SAID, OH IM SORRY HE SHOULD BE BACK TODAY OR THURSDAY. THURSDAY COMES, NO CALL.. I CALL AT 1:30.. UM.. IDK.. BY THIS POINT, I ASK FOR A MANAGER OR SOMEONE BC THIS WAS UNEXCEPTABLE. A GIRL COMES ON THE PHONE, IM SO SORRY, HE CAME BACK TODAY, AND YOU CAN PICK HIM UP UNTIL 8. Just took my kitten, Anubis, here. Exceptional work even with these trying times during this pandemic. Dr. Marietti was very informative and polite. I get a sense that she really cares for animals and also you and your animals as well. I didn’t feel like I was just another customer with a animal coming in. Might be bringing my other animals here since my other vet has stopped seeing patients. Definitely would recommend this Animal Hospital!!!

This place is amazing!!! I brought my dog in because he needed dental work done, Dr. Marietti, Julie and Skyla were absolutely awesome in taking good care of my little pup! 100% recommend them!

Sorry to the runners that work there because I believe they tried their best. They changed the dates and time of appts constantly, often without even realizing it. Conflicting diagnosis between the 2 vets. /Sent my cat home with a large amount of dried fecal matted to her fur. One vet said my cat had a spinal fracture the other said she was in heat. She also had a hernia repair. Months later one vet said she had another hernia. They changed the date/time of the hernia exam about 4 times. When I finally got her in they said she was too aggressive for them to examine it and needed me to give her neurontin before the appt. They should have known this bc it had happened for other appts. Finally after at least a month of this back and forth she got the exam. I took her to the appt for surgery and the vet was not there. Then it happened Again. Waited in the parking lot 40 min each time to find out the vet wasn’t there. When I finally got her in for surgery the vet said they were not even hernias. They sent my cat home with dried fecal matter matted to her fur. Among many other issues such as not being able to determine the gender of my cat for the first 2-3 months I had her and at one point thinking she may be a “hermaphrodite.”

They answered all of my questions and made me feel so comfortable and prepared as a first time pet owner! They are so kind and caring, and I could not recommend them enough! They rock!

Ive always liked emerald vet. But lately I cant say Ive been too impressed. Ive called several times in the past 2 weeks to make an appointment for my animals and left several messages with no return calls. Today I called at 5:35pm they close at 6pm. They left me on hold till just now, literally picked up the phone and hung up on me. When I called right back, I got the answering service again. Guess Ill find a new vet. Its sad because Ive been going there for years and have sent many people to them.

I liked Emerald from my first phone call asking questions. My first one was if they like Pitbulls & will treat them. The response was heartwarming. I think I spoke with Skylar & it’s funny bc my dog loves her. Not to say he doesn’t like everyone. She was so assuring. I scheduled an appointment.My dog(s) two now has had several visits. I hv always had pleasant encounters. Due to the Pandemic I hvn’t physically met Dr Marrietti or Lindsey but when I’ve talked to both on the phone they explain what is going on & what should be next if anything or things are good now with my dog.I know my 3yo dog can be a handful acting a baby bc he doesn’t like needles and nails trimmings 😩 but they get him together. His leg is so much stronger thanks to Dr. Marrietti & my Senior dog is thriving thanks to Dr. Lindsey. So I love Emerald & all their staff bc they are all very nice. Sorry this took me so to write. I nvr thought abt doing a review. I was on looking for info for my now cat. 🤦‍♀️

My dog needed surgery two months ago and we have been rescheduled two times already due to the health of the vet which I get but as I found out there were two vets and not once was we given the option to use the other vet because they figured that it was best that we stick with the same doctor. Not at the expense of my dogs health it doesnt So, Go someplace else because according to there manager they suggested that we go to an emergency clinic and pay twice as much! Not She pretty much blamed us for not knowing about the other doctor and that we had the option to use the other doctor which we where not told about until todays conversation. The clerk was rude to my wife and the manager clearly has no regard for people or there animals well being. She clearly doesnt care if the place of business she works at doesnt make money but would rather I leave this review. Her words!!! So I would like to add that we have spoken to the owner and the matter was resolved and note that those people no longer work there! I hate to see people lose there job but obviously they didnt care about there job so thats on them. But I would like to thank the owner for getting back to us and making sure we keep coming back so thank you and honestly we look forward to doing more business with Emerald...

I just started going here because my other vet seemed very expensive. After about 4 visits so far The staff is always extremely friendly and great at their job. The prices are on the cheaper side as well! They will continue to get my business. I will and have recommended them already!

I really enjoy taking my animal to this office! Dr. Lindsay has always shown love, compassion and gentleness to my animals. I have taken 2 of my cats here for many years now and I am very satisficed with the service and treatment my animals have received while under her care. Her staff is great as well! I also use this office for my cats grooming needs, Bri does a great job and the price is fair for everything that is included.

The groomer at Emerald Animal Hospital, Bri, is amazing! Great prices and great quality grooming. She grooms our St. Bernard on a regular basis. The best part is that he always leaves smelling so fresh and continues to smell great for weeks until his next groom. She typically bathes him and trims up his feet and sanitary area. We know our dog loves her just as much as we do, as he is always excited to go to the groomer!

When people call to schedule an appointment can you make sure to let them know about your COVID curbside policy? I really dont WANT to find another vet but I embarrassed myself over my missed appointment; My shame will have me looking elsewhere. The vet at this place is really good tho for those looking - for the vet I leave a 5 star review.

Such a wonderful animal hospital filled with the most caring individuals that are knowledgeable and trustworthy! My two doodles are also groomed by Bri and she does an amazing job every time they visit her for a spa day. You can tell she truly loves what she does and my boys love their visits with her!

The doctor is very good and they are very understanding. My dog has bad anxiety when he is at the vet. They totally understand. They also dont try to pressure to have you buy anything.

My wife and I had a cat named Cat. They helped keep Cat alive for 16 years.Had a special breed boxer Maxx, hundred and fifty pounds no fat. They kept him healthy for 14 years.Now I have a Shepherd Rottweiler mix, brought him home at 6 weeks old, at the age of one he was going downhill, I actually had to carry him in my arms to Emerald City, they saved his life and now hes on a daily pill to keep them alive.Thanks to Emerald City he has been in our family for 8 years now, happy and playful as ever. My family and I owes his life to Emerald Animal Hospital/ Clinic.

They were amazing when we brought our dog in after having seizures. They called us back the day after Thanksgiving to check on him. Unfortunately he didnt make it.... They were very compassionate and helped us get the cremation in order.

Dr. Smith called me on a Sunday afternoon, regarding my dogs Tuesday grooming appointment. Dr. Smith needed to make a house call that morning, and wanted to ensure that my dog did not need any veterinary attention. I told her my dog did not, and thanked her for the call. This is just the most recent example of the outstanding service that Emerald Animal Hospital provides. Both the veterinarians and staff are wonderful, professionable, and personable. I wouldnt take my dog anywhere else!

No frills vet clinic, but they truly know their stuff and care about their clients. They couldve dinged us for all sorts of extra costs, but always give us a reasonably priced solution. Highly recommended and ethical vet practice.

Never had a real issue with Emerald Animal Hospital, but still not worth 5 stars. One of the vets can be very abrasive, and always tell you the absolute worst case scenario, which is horrifying when your beloved pets wellbeing is in her hands. Can be expensive, we found a new vet that charged us a little over $100 less for the same medication + a rabies vaccine.

I took my cat here after just moving to the area and I definitely feel I made the right choice! They were helpful from the very first phone call. They were also very reasonably priced and made sure Gordo was more than taken care of before we left. The girls even sent us a welcome card and called the next week to make sure his treatment was effective. I highly recommend them!

I called every vet and clinic in the area looking for someone to help put my aging dog to sleep after a long battle with diabetes. She had put up such a brave fight but we knew she was uncomfortable and her quality of life had gotten poor in spite of all of our efforts to keep her happy.The ladies at Emerald were sympathetic, empathetic and acted life nothing short of a supportive family from the moment they heard my dog was ill over the phone. They hadnt even met her yet and were exceedingly supportive and caring.Without hesitation the scheduled Bailey to be put to sleep within hours to end her suffering, offering as much time as needed near the end to spend my last moments with her in private.There is absolutely no other place in the area that I will ever consider taking my pets to again. I wont even go through the hassle of trying. Calling all around only to be turned away in a situation like this makes you feel even more helpless in the situation. Emerald goes above and beyond to take all of that stress away and puts your pet first.

When dealing with pets it can be hard to find a clinic and staff that you trust. Emerald Animal Hospital provides top-notch care, and strive to work with their patients and their families. Highly recommended.

The nurses and Vet were super nice and patient with me , First time Ive been to the vet for a sick cat and i was completely overwhelmed but they quickly easied my worries. Talked and comforted my pet who was extremely nervous. They joked with me to help my nervousness as well. Would definitely recommend. They explained the medicine very well and even gave me some tips on how to administer it to my pet the easiest way.I payed about $100 for the visit ,the medicine and treats to help build a stronger immune system that i can also give to my other cats. Anywhere else and it would have been $80-90 JUST to get her seen. And they offer estimates. Will definitely be going back.

My friend had recommended this place so we brought our 9 week old kitten here after he had developed an eye infection. The vet and her assistant were some of the nicest people I have ever met. They also offered to do his first set of shots as well. This is definitely a place that cares more about their animals than the price because the price we paid for everything was very good! We paid only $112 for his infection eye cream, his first shots, the examination, two doses of deworming, and a free flea prevention! They also clipped his nails for us as well for free. I have recommended this place to my family members who are paying way too much for vet visits elsewhere!

Adopted a dog from the APL and they send me to this clinic cause it was close to me for a free checkup, it actually cost me almost $400 for labs and x-rays they overcharge me $2, called me that night to come back next day so they can return my money, the girl didnt even bother she told me just to leave it as credit for next visit even tho they called and told me to stop by. Days later I go back for my dog results and they couldnt gave me the x-rays stating that they were clinic property. I paid $160 for 2 x-rays and they never told me that they were gonna keep em. Im just feeling ripped off right now, I feel like because I love my puppy they can do whatever they want and Im gonna pay for it. Im so disappointed. Never coming back.

We took our puppy for his first vet visit and was greeted with a warm welcome. They came and loved on Kilo and he loved all the extra love and attention. When we where called back for his exam and shots the vet and vet tech where both super sweet and helpful. Kilo loved getting his treats while he was given his shots they were so fast he didnt even notice! He was given a clean bill of health and then we sent him over to the onsite groomer they have her name is Bri and she dose amazing work with all our animals and treats them like her own pets lots of love and care! Thank you emerald staff!

This is the worst vet I have done business with . I took my mothers cat for the appointment and there were no parking spaces in the parking lot , I called them on the phone and nobody answered , so I hung up and called again and the receptionist said we were late 10 min and the vet refused to see the cat ; also she said i should have left a message the first time I called . I told the receptionist I should have been told when I first made the appointment about these things and that it was very hard for me to make time to get the cat for her appointment between working night shifts .There was no compassion or care with the vet and the receptionist . This place is dirty and very unprofessional and I would not recommend it . I will never go back there.
