If you have a daycare voucher you will probably be fine but if you are private pay please avoid this daycare at all costs! Last year, DURING THE PANDEMIC, this daycare was one of the few that were open and I thought that it was a miracle to find this place. I was originally quoted for $125/week and when I took my son there everything was fine for the first 2 weeks. After the 2nd week she raised my price to $150/week because she said that full time was actually $150/week. I said fine because I didn’t have another daycare and my son seemed to like his teacher. Another 2 weeks go by and she raises my price AGAIN saying that the number of hours that he stays there means that I have to pay $175/week. My mother owns a daycare and I used to work in a daycare. Full time and part time does not go by how many hours the child is there on any given DAY but how many days out of the WEEK you are taking the child. If you take the child less than 3 days out of the week it is part time and more than 3 is full time. If you only have them for half-days (picking up before noon) then that also counts but mind you, my schedule was the same since the beginning. So I accept them price change but explain to her that I know that’s not how it works. One day, a week later, my son runs out of diapers and instead of telling me the night before she tells me AFTER I get to work after dropping him off. The owner then proceeds to tell me that she will charge me $1/diaper since he ran out. I tell her I’m not paying her because nobody charges for diapers and she is the one who neglected to tell me about his lack of diapers. I go to pick my son up after the diaper situation about 15 minutes late, but I inform her beforehand that I will be late. She tells me if I’m late anymore she will charge me. I get off at 2:30 everyday and the daycare doesn’t close until 6:00pm so what exactly was she charging me for? She is clearly money hungry. I tell her okay and then she proceeds to try to raise my daycare premium AGAIN! So after that I go home and think it through and let her know that I wouldn’t be bringing my child back to that daycare anymore. The fact that anyone would try to take advantage of a mother in need in the middle of a pandemic is honestly so disgusting and I would advise everyone to RUN away from this daycare and give her no business. I ran into one of my son’s old teachers from this daycare and she said that she quit working there for that same reason! Because she was money hungry and did not care about the children. Not to mention for almost $200/week she did not provide food! Best decision I ever made was leaving this daycare.

Very unprofessional. I noticed that when she answered the phone. I didnt know if i called someones personal phone or business professional phone she never answered the phone and comfirmed it was a daycenter. I could tell that she was money hungry just by our phone conversation. She asked me was i Private pay or county pay, i answered private then I ask her the private pay rate she told me it depends she has to see my schedule to make the sure parents arent just dropping their kids off and not going to work.... and she just went on and on unprofessionally. Why does it matter what a parent is doing people pay you to take care of their children not judge them or criticize them on what their doing or where they are going. Your in the child care business just run your business professionally and take care of the children.
