They are very bad at answering your calls. I can call all day and no one will answer. They are supposed to help out mothers and children. Well they aren’t helping me if I’m not receiving my benefits and my son is out of formula....and when I try calling, all I ever get is their voicemail. So aggravating!!

No sense of urgency, ever, they unlocked their door late, a mom was left waiting outside with her 4 kids. Having an appt has helped me not once. Been here multiple times. The front office is rude, unwelcoming and not good with children. Nor are they respectful of working parents, by being slow moving even when they are not busy. Dietician is nice, but this office treats their clients like theyre a second rate citizen. It looks fairly clean though it is a teeny building with teeny rooms. Can barely fit half of us in one room. There were 5 families in the waiting area, there was no space. They display low tolerance and patience for children; all the signs all over their walls saying what is not allowed makes one feel very unwelcomed. I dont understand why WIC doesnt utilize the ability to do the appts virtually since the office is so teeny. Also, they had me fill out a form that I felt was too intrusive and obviously meant to replace human interaction. Additionally, WIC provides tons of juice but if you say you give your children juice, ever, they will have you speak to a dietitian to counsel you on how juice is bad. If you say you dont use the juice, they counsel you to use it to cook in food or baked good. How confusing, its not okay to drink it but be eat it instead? Its still sugar and all forms. If you manage to successfully feed your children they wat they suggest, they will still make goals even though technically youve already accomplished everything they suggest. I wish mostly, they were friendlier, kinder, more considerate, more understanding and more patience for parents with small kids and patience for the small kids. Their whole purpose is to help children and women, youd think being kind would be a basic foundation for that. I will add, the checkout lady was nice.

I’ve always had a pleasant experience. The trick to not waiting hours is to set your appointment time for right after they open. All wic offices are crazy busy during the day. Early morning and you’re in and out, plus the staff are all in better spirits before dealing with tons of aggravated people for hours on end.

Terrible. Would give 0 stars if I could. Staff has no bed side manners and the office has no sense of time. Will let you sit in waiting room for an hour before informing you that doctor is running late and hasn’t even arrived to office. Do not recommend. What’s sad is that it’s ran through the government so mostly everyone there has no choice but to sit and wait due to no other options. Cannot say enough how terrible it is.
