I found Dr Perez very personable and professional. He took a real interest in any problems I had and did not make me feel that he was in a rush to get me out so he could move on. Based on my interaction with him, I would recomend him to any of my friends in need of a physician.

Stay away from this office. The front desk and billing ppl try to scam you for money. Called for annual preventive service which covers 100% under my plan but charged me $30 copay. They try to get money from both insurance and patients. Never experienced this with any Dr office in Orlando.

Dr. Rivera-Cruz was able to diagnose a condition I had with my medication that a previous doctor took no time to analyze. With her new findings I was able to decrease medication and also solve some physical issues I was having. She always listens, asks questions and strives to find answers. Being new to Florida I had to find a new doctor and I am very satisfied with Suncoast Medical. Everyone is friendly, thorough and concerned about my issues.

Their website scheduling system is useless. They left me a voicemail at work saying they had an appointment for me on the day I needed an hour later. called them back half an hour later when I went on lunch and they had already given it to someone else and had nothing available for the next week. Ridiculous. Just trying to get a health note for work issues.

I have to leave a review for a very specific reason! I change to my PCP; because, Dr. Mario Perez has to be one of the most outstanding caring Internal Physcian’s I encountered in my entire life. Most especially with my personal health history and my family‘s health history we finally found a physician that listens and cares. Someone that actually listens to the patient and tries to treat the symptoms discover the cause and treat and find a true diagnosis. To add, someone who takes my insurance (TRICARE Prime)! I had doctors within a mile or less than 10 miles that I knew even personally to my home. They were not bad doctors but the level of care was never a five star rating. In fact it was always a process of treating him with the MA, PA or a nurse practitioner then finally the doctor all within 15 minutes and a handful of prescriptions and no explanations. Knowing that my sister and brother-in-law have many medical conditions drive an hour to see Dr. Perez I was willing to do the same. So 30 miles away and 49 minutes of driving through I4 construction traffic it was worth it and is worth it every visit because I don’t spend 15 minutes with him and I never leave dissatisfied. He is a true Medical Practitioner who tries to follow his OATH and HELP heals does he treats. Also, is it out of his scope of practice he is not afraid to ask for you to a specialist of your choice or someone trustworthy and follow up on your care. I honestly wish all medical practitioners practiced medicine in this manner. I know they do not; but, what I do you know is Dr. Perez cares and will always put his patients first! Again the drive is worth it. Remember, don’t judge a book by its cover. The worst doctor for anybody the worse individual can build the most gorgeous building in the world and still be the worst physician or person. If his office appearance on the outside does not give you your curb appeal then who cares! Just like anything else it’s what is on the inside that truly matters! He and his fabulous staff belong in a building made out of diamonds because they are all true GEMS! Love them I wish I could give them a 10 star review

Jessica McGuire is the WORST!!!!!! She put my dad to the hospital with her prescription! In the hospital they told him that what she gave him actually makes your immune system to get worst of what it already is if you have a cold! To then a week later she prescribed him something different that even THE SAME DAY OF TAKING IT HE GOT ALSMOT LIKE WHEN WE HAD TO TAKING TO THE HOSPITAL! and after researching what it was, it doesn’t even help him wirh anything!!!!!DO NOT TRUST IN JESSICA MCGUIRE OR SHE WILL PUT YOU IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM OR WORST!!

My husband and I have been here for about 1 yr. if you are looking for a doctor that is not in it for the money...DO NOT COME HERE!!! My husband has been prescribed medications for many years but they will ONLY give him a 3 month refill w/o a serious debate. All they want is to charge the insurance company and make money for a max 5 mins with the dr. I spoke with Patricia (office manager, who tried to over speak me when I was talking) in the Davenport office and she stated that dr Perez is who made this rule. When asked to speak with dr Perez about it she said NO!!! I asked why. She stated because he doesn’t have time to take phone conversations.Make a long story short.... going to a different dr who can listen and will actually take people into consideration... not just take their money!!!
